Chapter 61

As in previous days, Charlie's routine in the morning was to drive Janie to the nearest bus stop from home before leaving for work to the hospital.

"my brother went down in front of it" pointed to a corner at the fork in the road.

"not until the stop?" charlie asked confusedly.

"no, I made a deal with my friend" replied Janie, opening her seatbelt. "thank you" then closed the car door and walked to the corner she had pointed at.

Not long after, a motorbike stopped right in front of Janie, greeting her and thrusting the helmet at the girl. While Charlie who was originally about to run the car then chose to observe them until finally went missing from sight.

"Who brought you?" Jack opened their conversation.

"That's Charlie's brother, the son of the owner of the house I live in" Janie replied.

"Sounds like you guys are so close?" Jack looked deeper.

"We've been like brother and sister, my father left me to him and his parents" Janie was reluctant to tell her about her marriage.

"ohhh" Jack then refocused his bike.

Along the way to campus they chatted about everyday life. Janie recounts all her busy life on campus and also in her new home, except about her married life with Charlie.

"So if you graduate, you'll stay in the capital or go back to Alexbad?" ask Jack.

"Oh, I haven't thought that far, right now I just want to focus on college and achieve my goals" Janie replied confusedly.

"Then do you have a boyfriend?" Jack asked carefully.

"eh, emmm not yet" Janie was misbehaved, she was afraid that if she answered wrongly then her affairs would be complicated.

"That means I still have a chance?" joking Jack as he jokes.

"Hemmm, unfortunately I don't like brondong like you, I prefer sugar daddy" Janie chimed in with a joke as well.

Upon arrival at the campus "later after college I pick up huh? I want to take you somewhere" Jack said, taking the helmet out of Janie's hand.

"All right, see you later" Janie then walked away toward the medical school building.

"How was your lecture today?" Jack asked while turning on his old motorbike.

"it's fun, we'll have a group observation in the hospital" Janie replied cheerfully.

"wahhh must be happy, like a real doctor" Jack said while driving his bike.

"loh why?" Jack curious.

"we are still in the early semesters, so we are not allowed to handle patients, we will only learn from the doctors who are experts and experienced" said Janie explained.

"If my father had a lot of money, I would have majored in medicine" Jack lamented.

"Jack, don't talk like that, you're a smart kid, you don't have to be a doctor to be successful, I'm sure after you graduate college you can definitely work in a big company and be the one to boast about your parents!" Janie comforts Jack.

"thank you Janie, you got me excited" this is what Jack likes about Janie, even though Jack is only the son of a poor farmer, but Janie is never picky, he wants to remain friends with Jack who is financially under him.

"sama-sama Jack! Oya, where are we going?" Janie curious.

"You'll know soon enough, just look to the right, after this hill, you'll see something cool" Jack explained.

"Woahhhhh Jackkkk" not long after Jack spoke, Janie yelled happily when she saw the right beach on her right side.

"do you like it?" Jack stopped the bike and pulled over on the beach.

"likes to go, I rarely go to the beach" Janie then walked up to the water back and forth on the sand as it was blown by the sea breeze.

"let's say Jack is here!" Janie who likes to see the beach and sea, running around following the movement of the waves like a child who gets his favorite toy gift.

They play on the beach until sunset. Janie felt very happy, even to the point of not realizing that time was almost showing the dinner hour.

"where are you?" Charlie, who doesn't see Janie in his room when he gets home from work, calls Janie.

"I'm still on the road with my friend Brother" Janie answered Charlie's question.

"Father and Mother are waiting for you for dinner" Charlie continued.

"God, I forgot about time!!! brother sorry, can we leave the same board with mom and dad? please tell me I'm going home tonight, so just eat first, don't wait for me" Janie felt bad for the day because she was playing.

"All right, I'll tell you" Charlie replied.

"Thank you sister" Janie replied, then hung up.

"Jack let's go home, I've been waiting" Janie took Jack home.

"Have your mom and dad been here?" Jack curious.

"no" replied Janie briefly.

"but why did you say mommy's dad ate first?" Jack asked back.

"Ohhhh, that means father and mother brother Charlie, because they are friends of my father and mother, so I called them father and mother" Janie lied.
