The Love of the Maharani

The Love of the Maharani
Prejudice

Daffa returned from the toilet when Anna had placed all the lobsters on her plate. As Daffa sat back in his chair, Anna was wiping her mouth with a tissue.

For some time the atmosphere was quiet. Astonished by the strange atmosphere, Anna looked at Daffa. And it turned out, Daffa was looking at him closely.

Anna thought that there might be food marks on her face that made Daffa look at her seriously.

"M.. Is there something on my face?" Ask Anna then.

Daffa did not answer Anna's question. He seemed more silent than usual. Anna also caught a foreign expression on her husband's face. It was as if Daffa was considering something.

"There really is food? Then I go to the toilet first!" Anna said as she got up from her chair.

However, a call from Daffa later, stopped Anna from going to the toilet.

"Anna, wait! There's nothing, really. I'm sorry I was a little dreamy earlier," Daffa said later.

"Oh okay. You do not feel dizzy or what after eating seafood? Maybe it's allergies?" Ask Anna then.

Daffa shook his head slowly.

"You really feel okay, don't you? you're no longer willing to eat seafood just because of me, are you?" anna said spontaneously.

Then, Anna directly locked her mouth. He was ashamed of what he had just said himself.

'Very good pede me! it is also impossible that Daffa will sacrifice himself just to make me eat seafood!' Anna sneered to herself in her heart.

Then Anna hurriedly added, "Then you're a bit quiet anyway, Daff. So I thought you were sick or something. So, you're really okay, right?" ask Anna again, to convince yourself.

"I'm okay, really," said Daffa in the end.

But after that, the two went back to silence.

"..."

"..."

Feeling that the situation still feels awkward, Anna finally got back up.

"But I really want to go to the toilet first!" Anna said back.

And Anna passed away.

About seven minutes later, Anna returned. When he finished finishing the water in his glass, Daffa suddenly asked him something.

"Do you have any acquaintances who are on vacation here? Currently?" Ask Daffa in a relaxed tone.

"Hmm? Notwithstanding. Nothing." replied Anna with a puzzled expression on her face.

"..."

Feeling that something was stuck in Daffa's expression, Anna finally asked.

"What's the matter, Daff?"

"That's.. I saw you talking to someone when I just came out of the toilet. I thought it was your friend" Daffa finally said.

When he said that, Daffa lowered his head for a while. But then he looked straight into Anna's eyes. Eyes that seemed to be looking for something in Anna.

Receiving a sneaking gaze from Daffa, Anna spontaneously lowered her head. Under the pretext of sipping the remaining orange juice in her glass, Anna finally gave Daffa an ambiguous answer.

"Oh yes. That's.. Strangers are mah!"

'Duh! How do I feel about lying to Daff? Andrew is a stranger to me!' anna's mind raged.

"..."

Daffa then called the restaurant waiter. After paying the bill for their order, Daffa invited Anna home.

"We're going home now?" bring Daffa.

Anna replied with a soft nod and immediately stood up from her chair. In her heart Anna was troubled.

'Do I have to tell everything to Daffa. He was afraid he would see that photo. But.. Daff couldn't have seen the news gossip like that, right? Besides, it seems like the news is not really frenzied anyway.' Inner Anna monologue.

Meanwhile, Daffa was busy with his own thoughts. Still ringing in his mind the words of the restaurant customer woman who sat at the table behind him earlier.

The flash back on.

Anna was going to the toilet. Daffa, who was still curious about the identity of the man she had seen, chatted with Anna, then heard a voice from the desk behind her.

''That was Andrew, right? And the girl who just went to the toilet was the girl who said she was Andrew's secret lover, right? I think they are coming again. You see, Andrew was stirred it was a girl who was even cool to eat. You heartless chick!'"

"Hush! Don't you fucking talk about it! Afraid violence!' there was another woman's voice behind Daffa.

'Let's be horrified! Let this guy know, if he's just the bad girl's impingement. It's a pity, even though it's handsome..'

I don't know why. Daffa was interested in continuing to listen to the conversation of the two people behind him. Moments later, the conversation behind Daffa resumed.

"Lagian Andrew really wants the same bad girl like that. That girl should have been cut off, right! Let's know how he feels!" say woman to one.

"Of course the news is true. It could just be a misunderstanding. The name is also gossip.not all are real," said the second woman, giving advice.

"ah! it must be the girl's fault! It looks so good, Andrew was cut like that. Not really willing to be my Andrew so sadboy just a girl jal*ng country earlier!" swearing women to one.

"Hush! don't have to be lengthened. It's none of our business either."

"Yes. But pity is also Andrew.. Also this guy.."

I don't know why. Daffa was very interested to look his head at the two women who were chatting. It was as if he had a premonition when someone was discussing him.

And, when Daffa actually did what his premonition told him, his gaze immediately caught two women who were indeed glancing at him.

One of the women immediately turned her eyes away from her. Seemed embarrassed as if he was caught doing something wrong.

The other woman gave Daffa a look of pity. A remark came out from the woman's mouth which, Daffa understood, was indeed addressed to her.

"Be careful, sister, same girl who eats with sister. He's already two in you!'"said the woman.

Daffa did not reply to the woman. He immediately straightened again his sitting position that had been sideways. Daffa continued to ponder the woman's words until Anna returned from the toilet.

Flash back off.

Back to this moment.

Daffa who was still buzzing with the words of the woman finally felt a little riled up. After considering something, Daffa finally decided. If he'd trusted Anna.

According to Daffa, Anna was not the girl the woman had been accused of. He knows who his wife is. Even though she also felt Anna was hiding something. But she thought, Anna might just need some time to tell a story.

So, Daffa will give Anna time. If Anna had not told him anything, it might not have been important for him to know.

After feeling calm with his own argument, Daffa grabbed back Anna's hand for him to hold.

Anna looked towards Daffa. And Daffa could clearly see the worry on his wife's face. He tried to give Anna a soothing smile. In his heart Daffa wished, 'May Anna trust me even more.'
