The Love of the Maharani

The Love of the Maharani
Meeting and Farewell

Supreme Master Sodik approached the table where Jordan and Anna were. Behind him, a girl accompanied him in silence.

Anna's eyes went from Grandpa Sodik, to the quiet girl, and back again to Grandpa Sodik.

Anna only realized that when they met for the first time, Supreme Master Sodik had been wearing clothes typical of the people of Nevarest. It was a deep shirt covered in a sleeveless vest.

Just like today, Grandpa Sodik's appearance (so we'll call it next) has not changed. He was still wearing a ground color vest that looked ordinary but neat.

While the quiet girl who followed him from the beginning wore a shirt with a similar color, the color of the ground.

Once in front of Jordan and Anna, Grandpa Sodik immediately sat on the empty bench that was in front of them. Followed later by a quiet girl and King Jordan who came back to sit.

"During the day, Anna! Sit down!" Grandpa Sodik gave the order to Anna who looked still confused.

Confused, Anna sat back down. Then he realized the freezing state that was happening around him at that time. Anna asked who.

"What happened to everyone? Why are they freezing while we're not?" Ask Anna.

"They don't freeze, Anna. They only experienced a stoppage of time. They'll be back to normal later" Papa Jordan replied.

"Yes. Nevermind, Son. We better eat first. It is not good to linger to let the food that has been served. Come on, please eat!" Grandpa Sodik.

Anna was overwhelmed by the behavior of the grandfather in front of her.

As Anna recalled, the last time she met Grandpa Sodik, the grandfather was so quiet and ironic said.

But look at Grandpa Sodik's current attitude. He seemed to be busy eating Anna and Jordan's order of food voraciously, regardless of anything.

Beside Anna, Papa Jordan went to devour the food at the table in silence. Clearly he was used to the eccentric attitude of his spiritual master.

"Unge, eat. Our journey is long!" Grandpa Sodik suddenly said.

Anna guessed that the one called Unge just now by Grandpa Sodik was the quiet girl. Because a second later, the quiet girl who had just sat still ended up eating. Although he's not as greedy as Grandpa Sodik.

Meanwhile, Anna inevitably ends up taking her order. Although he still felt strange because the four of them were busy eating when everything around them became a statue.

Anna doesn't eat too much. So he finished first. Before long, Jordan and Unge were also finished. Only Grandpa Sodik who still looks greedy eating food on the table.

'I thought Papa ordered too much food. Looks like Papa knows that Grandpa Sodik is coming, ' Anna said.

After all the dishes were clean from the dishes, then Grandpa Sodik finished eating.

It was only five minutes later that Grandpa Sodik spoke again.

"Jordan, come straight back to your kingdom. Do what you think is best for your kingdom. Be careful of Westerners. Especially on the 11th full moon. You have to stay where you are" said Grandpa Sodik.

"Good, teacher!" Jordan Sahut.

Beside Jordan, Anna did not understand Grandpa Sodik's words. But he chose to be quiet. 'That Grandfather wasn't talking to her, ' Anna thought.

Then, Grandpa Sodik stood up. And with Unge.

But before turning around, he looked at Anna and exclaimed, "You, son! Follow Me!".

Then Grandpa stood up and started to leave. Followed by Unge behind him. As well as. Jordan, who also stood up and paid his last respects, slightly lowered his head.

Meanwhile, Anna was still sitting dumbstruck. Not understanding Grandpa Sodik's words just now.

But then Jordan's voice sounded reprimanding him. "Anna! Follow the Master!"

"Anna... That grandpa, Pa?" Anna asked to make sure.

"Yes. Follow what the Master says. He knew what to do" Jordan replied.

With a confused feeling, Anna also confirmed her steps to pursue Grandpa Sodik and Unge. While half-running, Anna thought about what was really happening at this moment.

Anna doesn't know where fate will take her. At one time he lost Papa. Then he tried to find her and wait for her.

Just yesterday fate reunited him with Papa, but now Papa told him to leave instead?

Even so, Anna was a obedient child. He was sure that Papa would not let him go with the bad guys. Even though until now Anna still feels strange because she has to follow strangers.

And, suddenly Anna was moved to look back again.

He saw, time went back. And the activities of the people in the store were back on.

Anna's eyes focused on the place where she had been. And, what he saw made him unable to hold back a smile.

He saw the bewildered face of the waiter who had delivered food to Anna's table. Anna thought, 'Surely the waitress is confused. Because the new 'second' that sells he put a plate on the table. And the next second, all the food on the plate had disappeared!'

Anna then thought, 'Playing time is such an interesting activity!'.

The three also passed away. With Anna and Unge following Grandpa Sodik in silence.

After walking for quite a while, Anna's legs started to feel aching. But he broke down and did not complain.

'Maybe two hours have passed. Where exactly is Grandpa Sodik going?' Anna is monologuing in her heart.

Then Anna glanced to her left side. His gaze was veered with his almond eyes Unge. Spontaneously, Anna gave a smile to Unge. Which, answered directly with indifference.

Anna felt a bit upset at Unge. But he didn't show his frustration.

Anna decides to continue the rest of her journey in silence.

About an hour later, Anna's legs were completely shaking from the fatigue of the walk. He regretted the choice of Grandpa Sodik not to rent a scooter or ask Papa to be delivered.

But then Anna woke up. It is impossible for two transports such as scooters or mobics to pass through the small rocky road they have passed.

Moreover, the width of the road is narrow and there are many puddles, rain marks all night.

They had to pass through rocky roads, cross rivers, climb hills filled with thorny trees, before finally arriving at their destination.

"We have arrived. Welcome to Anna. The Fog Village. You'll stay here for some time. To increase your inner power. After all, this place is the safest place for you for a while," said Grandpa Sodik.

Anna stared at the view of a small village from the top of a hill. The village looked deserted, as there were only about a dozen houses there. Some people seemed to be riding on animals that shouldered sacks of what they contained.

The sound of birds squeaking sounded melodious as they welcomed Anna's arrival in the village of Fog. In a soft voice, Anna muttered, 'It looks like this village is a peaceful village'.

And, Unge who from the beginning of the journey is always silent. Suddenly just commenting on Anna's slow muttering.

"This is a peaceful village. Because as the name suggests, the Village Fog. The village's existence is covered by Chi mist from the precious stone Anakki. No one can enter this village, without the key holder's permission,"

"Oh!... Who is the key holder of this village?" Anna spontaneously asked.

And Unge answered Anna's question again. Even with a question.

"Who else?" Said Unge, raising his head towards Grandpa Sodik.

"Oh.."

Next, Anna followed Grandpa Sodik and Unge's steps into the village. With a hope in heart, "May there be good things that can happen to me in this village. And hopefully, I can just go home and get together again with Papa and Mama Elva. Aamiin's.."
