The Love of the Maharani

The Love of the Maharani
Heartbroken

Daffa had no idea what would happen to him today. If he could see the future, he would not let Joanna go with him to the hospital.

This afternoon, when Marine reported about the condition of the father who returned to drop, Daffa was in a hurry. So he did not think long when suddenly Joanna appeared and asked to come with him to the hospital.

The two eventually go to the central hospital, where Zion's father is being treated.

Daffa then went to Zion's father's room. In front of the room he found Kak Marine walking back and forth, looking anxious.

"What's Dad's condition, brother?" Ask Daffa later when he was already in close proximity with his adoptive brother.

"Not yet, Daff! Brother. sister don't know!" Sis Marine was half hysterical.

Daffa sighed tiredly. Slowly he patted Kak Marine's shoulder gently.

"Calm down, brother! Dad will be fine! God willing!" Say Daffa with a confident tone.

"How can you be sure, Daff?! What if Dad's condition worsens? Or I'll even-" Marine stopped talking. Imagining the worst possible thing that could happen to their father alone had already made him very upset.

"Don't be so prejudiced, brother! No matter how bad the situation is, we will definitely get through it. For Allah will not test His servant beyond the limits of His ability" said Daffa calmly.

Marine stared fixedly at his adoptive sister. Daffa returned and continued to speak.

"After all, does not God also follow the prejudices of His servants? Hopefully with our good prejudices about Dad's condition, God will grant us this good hope" Daffa said again.

Marine then fell silent. Striking the words spoken by her foster sister.

Shortly thereafter, he fell on a ward chair in front of their father's room. And she covered her face which was slowly getting wet with tears. Only the sound of Marine sobs was then heard in the hallway of the hospital.

Daffa patted Kak Marine's shoulder. Trying to channel fortitude to the woman beside him. While his gaze stared anxiously at the door of his father's room being cared for.

Every now and then a nurse comes out and goes back in with something. Every time Daffa asked his father's condition, it was always "please wait a minute, sir! Patients are being treated by our doctors" of those nurses.

About an hour after waiting, Marine decided to go home first. He asked Daffa to immediately give him any news regarding their father's condition. And Daffa gave his promise.

Daffa sat in the front ward chair of his father's room, together with Joanna. He told Joanna to go home. However, his best friend's sister chose to keep him in the hospital. I don't know for what reason.

Daffa then let Joanna accompany him. Her body and mind were too tired to force Joanna away. But two hours later, Daffa would regret his decision.

Because an incident occurred when he was off guard because of the fatigue he felt.

So, Daffa had accidentally fallen asleep around the time of approaching Maghrib. His head felt heavy and dizzy. Probably due to his lack of sleep for the last few days.

When Daffa accidentally fell asleep, he felt someone kissing his lips. In the fog of exhaustion and dizziness, Daffa had thought that the person who kissed him was Tasya. So that he returned the kiss of the man with eyes still closed.

Daffa forgot that he was still in the hospital. His heart still misses Tasya, his wife. So that his passion for some time has mastered it.

But, before long his subconscious reminded Daffa.

The aroma of the person who smelled it was not like the scent he usually caught from Tasya's body. At once, Daffa opened both of his eyes. And surprised when his eyes looked at Joanna's eyes.

Daffa pushed Joanna away. Then rubbed his mouth repeatedly. Trying to remove traces of the touch of her lips Joanna on her lips.

Daffa was so angry that he immediately got up and left. Joanna was after him.

"Sister! Brother Daffa! Wait for Anna, Brother!" Call Joanna to Daffa.

Daffa did not take a call from Joanna and continued to move quickly. He meant to go to the toilet. To clean his face and especially his lips from the trace of Joanna earlier.

As soon as he found WC at the end of the hall, Daffa went straight inside and closed the door with a loud slam.

Brak!

A few minutes later after cleaning himself, Daffa came out of the men's room. But Joanna had already intercepted him at the door.

"Sister! Shoot Joanna first, sister!"

Daffa did not look at Joanna at all. He walked straight past his best friend's sister without saying anything more.

"Sister Daffa! Please catch Anna first, sister!" Call Joanna back.

Frustrated, Joanna half ran after Daffa and pulled the arm of the young man she loved.

"Sister Daffa! Wait du--!" Joanna's words were cut off by the edge of Daffa's arm.

Then Daffa turned and looked at him. Looking at it with a very sharp look.

"Johanna! I think of you as my own sister. I'm so disappointed in what you did!" Censure Daffa to the point.

"But, Sister Daffa! Joanna love Sister!" Said the young lady in a loud voice. There was a loud sound in the hospital hallway that was quiet that person.

Their floor was currently indeed on the top second floor of the building. The floor is devoted to VIP and VVIP patients, so there are not many people and or visitors who pass by.

"And you also know that I'm married! So you don't have the right to steal a kiss like you did! It's so inappropriate for you who aren't even married!" Censure Daffa is back.

"Joanna doesn't care!"

"But I care! Very much care! Because after all I have given up my heart and body for my wife! Not for any woman anymore! Not even for you!"

Joanna looked at Daffa with a wounded look. A sobbing began to break through the defensive wall in his throat.

"But Joanna is in love, Sister Daffa!" Joanna would not stop. He felt compelled to convey his feelings to Daffa, the man he had been secretly in love with for three years.

For three years Joanna was disappointed that Daffa always thought of her as a little sister. He wished that the man could see him as a woman. A grown woman who deserves to be loved!

"Joanna has been in love with her sister for even longer than I met her!" Blasphemous Joanna with a stumbling voice.

Daffa snorted in annoyance.

"Joanna. I have known about your feelings for a long time. But have I not given my answer to you through my attitudes all this time?" Say Daffa then in a calmer tone.

"I just think of you as a little sister, Joanna. Your brother, Jo, knows it. Didn't he advise you to stop expecting me?" Ask Daffa suddenly.

Joanna. He did not expect that Daffa had realized his feelings for the man. All this time he thought Daffa never knew. But apparently..

And Joanna was back. As he recalls the advice his older brother Jo often spoke to him. To stop expecting Daffa. To stop loving that young man.

But clearly, Joanna felt incapable! How could he just erase love, after it had entangled him so tightly for so many years?!

Joanna wanted to give up her feelings for Daffa when she saw him marry the woman he had the same nickname, Anna.

However, with the recent news of the scandal by the woman, Joanna felt her hopes had soared again. He was not willing if he had to give up Daffa for the bitch.

Therefore, Joanna originally intended today to express her feelings towards Daffa. And leave it to Daffa to accept his feelings or not.

But then Joanna saw Daffa sleeping. And somehow he was moved to approach the face of the man he loved so much. Just blame the passion he has harbored for years. So unknowingly, Joanna was even moved to kiss Daffa's pink lips.

And when Daffa also welcomed her kiss, Joanna was very happy. He thought Daffa was reciprocating his feelings.. But seeing Daffa in front of him now, Joanna's hope had to be dashed for a moment.

Joanna finally realizes that Daffa loves Anna very much.

'It hurts. It hurts so much!' joanna screamed in silence.

He saw Daffa's face fixed. Joanna was still trying to find a trace of hope that Daffa would accept her. However, darling. Joanna found no trace of love let alone love in Daffa's eyes for her.

Joanna's heart was broken. Heartfelt.

"Go, Anna!" Dispel Daffa with a firm voice.

"And don't ever show up in front of me again!" Tell Daffa to talk.

It was like a thunder that plunged her nails into Joanna's heart. The Daffa sentence made Joanna feel unable to think about anything.

With great effort, Joanna turned and ran away. Carrying a piece of his heart that was badly injured even though it was not bleeding.
