The Love of the Maharani

The Love of the Maharani
Phone call from Karina

Anna looked at Daffa with a serious look. Daffa looked back at him with a similarly serious view. For some time the two looked in silence. Until Anna suddenly lowered her head and looked at her fingers on Daffa's lap.

Anna judged her hand to look tiny in Daffa's hand. The man could have crushed Anna's hand in one hand, if he wanted to. Daffa could have forced his desire on Anna, if she was also a 'breng*sek' Frans who was even desperate to kidnap her.

But Daffa didn't do all these evil things. Daffa was so patient with Anna. Just look at the way he rubbed Anna's fingers with gentleness. There was a genuine love that Anna could feel at every touch of hers. There was a warm feeling left in Anna's heart in every shady look given by her husband.

In silence, Anna thanked God for meeting Daffa. Although she has no feelings of love for her husband at this time, she will try to repay all the good that Daffa has given her in her life, by her obedience as a wife.

"I..," Anna hesitated to say.

"Yes?" Daffa awaits him.

"I will also try to be a good wife to you" Anna said.

A smile spread across the lips of the handsome man. And his smile grew even more when he heard Anna's next words.

"I'm sorry that I'm still embarrassed and unfamiliar with our marriage status. But I hope we can build a real marriage. There is no need for a marriage agreement as at the beginning of our agreement. According to religion, the law is illegal. So..," Anna again gave a pause to her words.

He took a deep breath and went back and said, "So I wish this marriage was the only marriage I'd ever have in my life. Until I'm old. Until I have children and grandchildren later, I wish I could keep this marriage."

"We..," suddenly Daffa interjected.

Anna's eyes lifted and clashed with Daffa's warm eyes.

There was confusion that Daffa caught in Anna's clear eyes. Daffa then gave an explanation.

"This is our marriage. So not only you will fight to keep this marriage, but me too. Not only are you hoping for the wholeness of this marriage until we age later, but I am too. And it's not just you hoping that this will be your only marriage, but me too."

"So don't feel like you're alone in this marriage, Anna. Because I will always be there for you. I will be a shield that will protect you from all evil things. I will also make sure that we will always be happy together... Forever," the promise of Daffa is uttered with a stirring inner firmness and taste.

Anna's heart was racing again. His heart was broken again in Daffa's eyes. Until he did not realize when Daffa began to close his sitting position until adjoining Anna. The young man's face was getting closer and finally no longer with his face.

And... The two men also returned to decay in the nuances of holy mahabbah. Sacred by reason of the agreement which has bound them both in the protection of divine asthma. Akad who has made every touch between them into a worship that has a value of reward. The touch also strengthens the inner bond and sense between the two. Till...

Daffa released himself from Anna. At once, both of them looked like fish that were running out of air. Her hands were still tightly hugging Anna's body, when suddenly a happy laughter escaped from her mouth.

"Haha! Look what you've done to me, Anna. I forgot to breathe! We just kissed earlier" Daffa said. He then grabbed Anna's head until she leaned against the chest of her field. The two enjoyed each other's heartbeats in silence that night.

Daffa smiled.

Anna could not help her smile.

In silence, both of them enjoyed the taste. In silence, the two concoct love.

Happiness for both is simple. As long as there is Daffa, as long as there is Anna, then slowly happiness will accompany.

'When two hearts seek to know and understand each other. When two souls are both trying to strengthen their feelings, happiness for them will become something that will inevitably exist, ' Daffa thought.

Shortly afterwards, a faint ringing of mobile phones broke the silence. Anna instantly straightened her head towards that ringing sound.

"That's my phone..," Anna said.

When Anna was about to get up and pick up her phone, Daffa held Anna's shoulder.

"Wait here, let me get you," Daffa offered to help.

The two views met for two seconds. And with that look Anna crumbled and nodded. Accepting an offer from Daffa. Anna rested her back on the brown sofa she was sitting on. Daffa stood up to pick up Anna's cell phone.

About a minute later Daffa returned and handed Anna's smartphone, which no longer rang.

"So, the moment you took a shower also rang. Sorry I forgot to say," Daffa suddenly confessed.

"Oh! It's all right. Thank you, Daff," Anna gave Daffa her sweet smile.

"Hello? Assalamu'alaikum!" Daffa captures Anna's voice aimed at the person across the phone.

And, suddenly Daffa was interested to know the person who was called back by Anna, because that person could bring up the sweet smile of the wife, even if only by telephone. Soon Daffa put up his ears to listen to Anna speak.

"Yes. Ja.. Excuse me. I just got this hp. I don't check the phone for a lot of things." Sahut Anna's.

Daffa brought his head closer to Anna. He even pretended to lean on his wife so he could hear her phone conversation. But Anna realized Daffa's attitude and moved her phone to her other ear, away from Daffa. This made Daffa more curious about the identity of the person opposite the phone.

"That's. mm..," Anna glanced at Daffa. And Daffa who knew she was being seen by Anna immediately raised his eyebrows in a question mark.

"I was married this morning.." Anna said slowly.

Shortly after, Anna kept the phone away from her ear. Daffa could hear a loud noise from Anna's speakerphone hole. Hearing that voice, Daffa breathed a sigh of relief. Because the sound from the phone's speaker hole was clearly a woman's.

Realizing that he did not need to be wary of the person across the phone, Daffa refocused on reading the financial statements for the meeting tomorrow night in Lombok. He did not pay much attention to Anna's conversation anymore.

About 10 minutes later Anna hung up her phone call and read something on her screen. Beside him, Daffa put his cell phone in his pocket. He then pulled Anna closer to him. And slowly, Anna leaned her head on Daffa's shoulder.

"Who was that?" Ask Daffa suddenly.

"Karina, my classmate," Anna replied, still staring at the screen.

"Why didn't he come? Seems like you didn't invite your close friends or college friends?" Daffa.

"Too sudden, Daff. I only had time to ngabarin Karina, but she had a need. So it can't come" Anna said.

"Ooh.." Daffa began to get upset when Anna was still paying more attention to her phone screen. Both of Anna's eyebrows were almost linked while reading something on her phone screen. A sign that he was so serious about his reading.

Daffa was finally tempted to glance at Anna's mobile phone screen. Apparently Anna was reading a WA message from Karina. Here's the message from Anna's college friend.

Karina: watch out, Anna. Every man is tiger who wear Kitty costume! They are beast! (Awas, Anna. Each man was a tiger in a cat costume. They are wild animals.)

Anna: don't scare me, Rin. (Don't scare me, Rin)

Karina: yeah. Then don't call me if you 'hubby will' eat you ton. (Well. Don't call me if your husband's gonna 'eat you' tonight.

Anna: you were nuts. (You're crazy.)

Sally: hey! Its' you who were nuts. And I'm not. Never in a million month that I will be married based on contract! (Hey! That's you who's actually crazy. And I'm not crazy. Never for another million months will I get married, under contract.

Anna: well. I'm really married now, Rin. Not based on contract. (Well, I'm actually married now, Rin. No longer under contract.

Karina: is that so? (Really?)

Anna: yeah. So please give me your blessing, Rin. (Yes. So please give me your blessing yeah, Rin)

Karina: if I'm your Mom to give you my blessing. Don't mind me. (As if I was your mother alone to give my blessing. Don't mind me anyway)

Daffa sighed. His eyes were quite dizzy following the movements of the short message on Anna's phone. He then sees Anna who is still serious about sending a short message with Karina.

Finally, because he was upset waiting, Daffa also invited Anna to pray together.

"Anna, are we praying together, yuk?" Bring Daffa.

Hearing Daffa's invitation, Anna immediately turned her eyes back to Daffa's face. "Yuk" said Anna.

Eventually the two walked together and went back into the room, with Daffa helping to remove Anna.

In Daffa's head, they had already devised a scenario for their first night tonight.
