The Love of the Maharani

The Love of the Maharani
Mrs. Corin Gibston

Anna opened her eyes to Daffa. While the one looked relaxed. Worse, seeing Anna who was getting cheery even made Daffa smile.

In his heart, the young man thought that Anna might be jealous. 'Isn't jealousy a sign he likes me?' so thought Daffa.

Anna was getting upset because Daffa was smiling. She would have turned around and left her husband with the brown-skinned Latin American woman, had Daffa not held her arm all of a sudden.

Daffa tightened his grip on Anna's arm, then introduced Anna to the American woman.

"Mrs. Corinne. You've just pushed me in a big trouble (Miss Corrine. You just pushed me into big trouble). Here look's. My wife got jelous toward you (see. My wife is jealous of you). She may think there is something fishy between us (she probably thought there was something suspicious between us)," Daffa told Miss America.

The American Miss looked surprised and finally saw Anna for the first time. At a glance, Anna caught a jealous flash in the woman's eyes.

"Oh! So you really were married! (So, you're really married!) I thought you just made a bull (i thought you were just bullshit)" Corrine said.

Corrine turned to face Anna. For a split second Anna found herself judged by the foreign woman. But then Corrine gave her a warm smile which, according to Anna was made up.

"Hey, Anna. My name is Corrine Gibston. Just call me Corrine!" Sapa Corrine extended her right hand.

Actually Anna does not like the woman in front of him. But in order to maintain decency, he finally returned Corrine's hand.

After a brief handshake, Corrine turned her attention back to Daffa.

"So, Daffa. How about dinner? (How about dinner?) I wait your response (i'm waiting for your answer),"

Being asked by Corrine like that had brought up a veil of dislike on Daffa's face. He glanced at Anna who gave a questioning look at him.

Finally, rather than answering Corrine's question, Daffa chose to give Anna an explanation. He did not want his wife to misunderstand him.

"So, Anna. He invited us as a thank you for helping him yesterday. That's a loh, which I make you wait until later when I buy seafood," said Daffa.

Seeing Anna's confused face, Daffa again explained further.

"When we got here. I'll find some food first. While you wait near the beach. Then you go back to your room and fall asleep. I told you I had an accident?" Bright Daffa further.

"Oh!" Anna seemed to remember something.

"Well. It was an accident I meant Mrs nolongin. Corrine. Not intentionally so. So he invited us to dinner yesterday, but I replied that I was busy.." Daffa confessed.

"You're sure, he invited 'us'? Aren't you doang?" Anna asked suddenly, cutting off Daffa's speech.

Daffa cleared his throat slowly and glanced at Corrine. In fact, he knew with the intention of the American woman to invite him to dinner. That's why yesterday he turned down Corrine's invitation.

But Daffa did not expect Corrine to return to ask for the dinner invitation, in front of Anna anyway. He seemed to have to explain to Corrine that she was not interested in connecting with the woman.

With an intense look, in front of Corrine the Latin woman, Daffa answered Anna's subtle insinuations to her earlier. This time Daffa spoke in English. So Corrine could understand and fully understand how Daffa felt about Anna.

"Of course, my dear. Every invitation toward me means they also invite you (every invitation that I agree with means they invite you too). Cause I'm your (because I belong to you). So if you say no, then I say so (so if you say no, then me too). And if you say yes, then I'll go (and if you say yes, then I will go). I'm following your step to anywhere you go (i'll always follow your steps, wherever you go)" Daffa said.

Blushes.

Anna's cheeks blush. He did not expect Daffa to behave romantically in public. It felt like Anna wanted to go inside her room right now. Moreover, he saw, some of the closest people who heard Daffa's words just turned their heads towards them. It's so shameful to feel.

Anna tried to escape from Daffa's firm hands. But his efforts are worth nothing. So, she was still in Daffa's arms when her husband gave Mrs the next bomb. Corinne.

"So, Mrs. Corinne. Another sorry. WE," said Daffa by emphasizing his voice on the word We, which means 'we'.

"We really can't join your dinner time (we really can't join dinner with you). Cause we're enjoying our honeymoon now (because we're enjoying our honeymoon right now). Hope you don't mind it (maybe you don't mind)" Daffa told Corrine.

Anna glanced at the face of the woman before her. It seemed obvious to him, the look did not like to decorate Corrine's face.

"Fine!" Corrine's sahut is short. In his heart Corrine felt humiliated. He did not expect himself to be rejected outright by the young Indonesian who had helped him yesterday.

In public anyway!

'And just for this bit*ch!' curse Corrine inwardly while firing a laser of hatred at Anna.

Anna blinked her eyes. He felt clearly the dislike Corrine had aimed at him.

Anna was uncomfortable at first. Because he doesn't like to have enemies. Anna has always tried to maintain a peaceful situation with anyone throughout her life.

So, finding that hateful look given by Corrine made Anna a little scared.

But then Anna felt Daffa's hand squeezing her waist. Anna looked at Daffa beside her. And, as if she had an inner bond, Anna felt she had received strength from Daffa's view of her.

So Anna then returned Corrine's gaze with more courage. After all, he felt he had nothing wrong with the American woman. It was precisely Corrine who was trying to disturb his relationship with Daffa.

It was clearly that woman who liked Daffa and was still teasing him. According to Daffa, he rejected the woman.

"So Corrine's. We have to go (we have to go). We want to have breakfast alone (we want breakfast alone)," Daffa told Corrine.

Anna then felt Daffa ask her to turn around and resume their steps towards their room. Leaving Corrine behind those faint grumbles, "As if I wanna join you, hmph! (I want to join you guys!? Hmphh!)".
