The Last Whiteblood's

The Last Whiteblood's
Preparation for the Final Exam

6 Years Later..

Two horsemen fought each other on a slightly muddled horse course. An Instructor stood at the edge of the field holding a piece of paper.

"Arion! Speed your horse!" faesa Cheers. The fox girl looks more mature now, she is getting taller, her face is getting more beautiful, her fox tail also looks rather large and her body looks charming in the eyes of men.

Feeling encouraged, he increased the speed of the horse. His opponent was startled and started to fall behind. The finish line is in sight.

"Arion! Arion! Arion!"

Cheers of most of the students. With the speed of the horse, he managed to dart into the finish, the disciples supporting him cheered.

Arion waved with a smile. The 14-year-old got off his horse and walked up to the Instructor.

"Good job, Arion, you got a perfect score on this test. Congratulations!" The instructor applauded Arion.

"Thank you" Arion bowed respectfully while smiling. The young man's appearance has now changed, he is getting handsome and also tall. The dense black hair he never cut because of the request from Yaena, his skin remained pure white and now Arion became the idol of the girls in the academy.

Arion walked out of the field, people were seen waiting for him with smiles. Faesa broke through the ranks of the disciples and immediately jumped up, hugging Arion.

"You're so cool!" Faesa rubbed Arion's head.

Aciel came to them, now he was wearing glasses. "Happy Arion! You're becoming the highest-rated student"

"Thank you, I never thought I would be the highest" Arion said.

"You don't get cocky first, boy" the baritone's voice caught their attention, the three turned to the source of the voice. A blond man with firm jaws, blue eyes and a height that surpassed Arion.

"May ..." Arion looked coldly at him.

Now the two brothers looked at each other. Faesa was forced to mediate with them. "Already, already, you guys don't make a fuss here. Not good to see by people"

Daendra was silent for a moment before turning his face away from Arion. "I'm going to take over that rank one position"

"Take it, I don't need it" replied Arion who again drew the anger of Daendra. He wanted to hold Arion's head and hit him to the ground, but Faesa was faster. He immediately took the arms of Daendra and Arion.

"Peace first. It's too crowded here" he said.

"Hey! I don't want to be held by you!" Daendra tried to remove his arm from Faesa.

"Just follow, Prince" said Faesa. The three of them left from there, Aciel shook his head slowly. "Based on the nobles"

They were both taken to the top of the castle. Arion and Daendra kept asking why they were brought here, but Faesa just kept quiet and did not answer.

When he reached the top of the castle, Faesa released the arms of the two bloodless brothers. He walked slowly towards the reiling of the castle balcony, letting the afternoon breeze blow through his hair and face.

Arion and Daendra stood behind him, silently waiting for a response from Faesa.

"This is our last month here. I barely want to go home" he said. "6 years ago, we left the palace. At first I thought ..." he paused his sentence. "I thought I'd get stronger if I went to school here, but the result"

Faesa. "I feel left out of you. I was more capable when we were kids. Honestly .. I envy you, Arion" he turned around, looking at Arion.

"You're so talented and I feel left behind, let alone by you, Daendra. You two managed to occupy the top three, while I was still below you guys .. far away"

Arion stepped forward, he stood beside Faesa while facing out of the castle. "Five years ago, when I was in trouble in Swordman class, you gave me a hint back then. You told me the sword moves I didn't know about all this time, when your class was Destroyer"

Arion turned to Faesa with a smile. "You are my strength, Faesa. The brother I respect, you're the one who got me this way"

Daendra also came forward, standing before Faesa. "When we were little, we were playing Science Qube. You who also mastered the same Fire Element as me taught me some skills. Up until now, I had never forgotten those skills, because they were taught by a chatty person like you"

Faesa gave a small laugh as he was said to be chatty.

"For me you are still strong" said Arion.

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with him" Daendra said.

Faesa unintentionally shed her tears. "Oh, I'm crying, it's all because of you!"

"He's still chatty" Arion said.

"Yes" Daendra shook his head slowly with a smile.

"What did you say?! I'm chatty? Come here!" Faesa embraced the two brothers, they were both forced to bow because Faesa was shorter.

The three of them both laughed that day, bloodless brother. For that afternoon also Daendra made peace with Arion.

On the roof of the castle, Eden sat listening to the speech and harmony of the three of them. He looked sad while looking at the afternoon sky. Her hair was thick but - not as messy as it used to be - was blown away by the wind, revealing her left eye which was covered by hair.

The next day, all the disciples from the last year were gathered to carry out the final exam.

A dreadlocked Centaur stood before them to inform them of the test.

"This test is not a written exam like last week. You will be assigned to guard several villages from Goblin and Orc attacks, this year there are a lot of reports coming about attacks from those races. So, you will be required to succeed because you will be finished from here if this exam is successful. Understood?"

"understand!"

"understand?!" the Centaur said once again.

"MAIDS, SIR!!"

"Good, time for group division"

Once the group division is complete, they are expected to stand with their respective groups. Each group is filled with 10 students from various random classes.

"Gosh ... Why should you?" daendra asked when he found out that Arion was in the same group as him.

"Where do I know" replied Arion.

Arion will be in a group with Daendra, while Aciel will be with Faesa and Eden.

"The location of group 5 is in Egrit Village. This location was often terrorized by Goblins and some Orcs. Reportedly, there is a Hell Beast here, so you must be careful"

"I hope you're safe until the test is over" the Centaur said.

In the evening, Arion and Daendra begin to work out what will be needed for their trip tomorrow.

"Sister" a small child stood in the doorway of Arion's room.

"Hm? Azio, what's wrong?" Arion turned around for a moment to see who called out to him, then returned packing the items.

"Does Brother really want to go?" ask Azio. He's one of Arion's juniors who lives at home with him in house 132.

"Yes, that's it. Because of the final exam"

"How long?"

"A week more ... maybe" Arion walked out of the room. "Darenda! Where are your clothes and medicine bottles?"

"Don't touch! Just let me!" replied Daendra who was in the living room.

"Where's your medicine bottle? I'll add medicinal syrup to it"

"At the table, behind your book!"

Arion's way to the table, there's three empty bottles there. "Just three? Alright .." he took the bottle and was about to fill it, but he was startled by Azio who suddenly appeared in front of him. He dropped three empty bottles.

"Azio, you just surprised me" Arion heaved a sigh of relief and stepped towards the kitchen.

"If you're not here, then ...who will take care of us?" ask Azio.

Arion's eyes widened while Daendra spouted coffee from his mouth due to the shock of Azio's words.

"HAHAHA!!!" Daendra laughed there. Arion held back his bad taste while pouring the medicinal syrup into the bottle.

"You've been a good foster mom all along. Congratulations!" ejek Daendra's. Arion keeps trying to focus on his work. "Don't worry Azio, when your foster mother comes home, she'll bring your father for you!"

"Damn it!" inner Arion.

The next day...

The student of the last year was ready to depart, just waiting for the signal from the academy alone.

"It's so cool ..." Aciel let out smoke from his mouth as he spoke. "I don't think I'll get used to the cold"

"So, that's your new stick" pointed Arion at the stick that was leaning against the wall. The wand was made of wood with blue crystals at its peak. There was a crescent moon carving that was around the crystal.

"Ah, yes. This stick was made by Mr. Alhori because I scored high in his class" Aciel replied.

"That's it, yeah"

Then, not long after, Faesa came while carrying his big hammer. A weapon too obvious for him.

"Aciel, it's time to go. 5 more minutes we're leaving" Faesa said.

"Good" Aciel took his things. They both leave Arion, but Aciel forgets something.

"His wand was left behind" muttered Arion, intending to return it. However, when Arion touched the wand, his hand felt a little stifled.

Arion was shocked and confused, he held the wand again. Arion felt a kind of flow of energy that he had never felt entering into him. The energy enveloped him, as Arion moved into another dimension.

The dimension was hollow and he was floating in the air. Arion spread his gaze around.

A second later, he came back. Arion panted a little while staring at the stick.

"You've also experienced it, huh?"

The voice of the old man made him look back. Felim stood there holding his wand.

"Master" Arion bowed in salute.

"You're shifting consciousness. Am I right?" ask Felim.

"Yes, Sir. I don't understand" he replied.

"me too. This world is strange, you have to learn it even though it is impossible for you to understand" Felim replied.

"So what's that, sir?"

"That's the Energy Path. This road is created by the impact of the energy we have"

"Did you remember six years ago in the class election?" ask Felim. Arion nodded.

"You chose the Swordman class but the Mage class wants you to choose it too. Within you you have already tied the contract with the Swordman class and as a result you can only choose one class, but that doesn't mean you can't master another class"

"Then, what does this have to do with the Energy Path?"

"Your inner workings have been combined with the Swordman. It was the main road but the Mage class tried to get inside that main road so that there was a collision"

Arion. "So, I did have to choose a Mage class, yes"

"It doesn't have to be, my son. Your choice is right as a Swordman. If you still have doubts, you can still learn as a Mage without forgetting yourself as a Swordman"

"Can that be?" ask Arion.

"Of course, you have that blood, don't you?" Felim whispered with a smile. "A Whiteblood can rule an entire class without forgetting the first class"

Arion widened his eyes. "You know .. who am I?"

"I'm just guessing" Felim replied with a smile. He took Aciel's wand. "Let me deliver it, it's time for you to join. You don't want Prince Daendra nagging you, do you?"

Felim walked away with Aciel's wand. Arion was still standing there looking at Felim's back who was starting to move away.
