Weird Animals

Kenneth opened his eyes slowly due to the morning sunlight. He fell asleep under a shady tree all night. Kenneth was exhausted and went straight to sleep after a grueling fight last night.

They both ran away from Vogros Town and ended up on the path between villages where there were no buildings and people here.

"Ughh! My body.." Kenneth held onto his body which was still aching. "Where's Arion?" He also realizes that only he is here, Caith has also disappeared.

Kenneth rose with all his might, enduring the pain in his body. He wanted to find Arion, but he was confused where he would look. There is nothing here but trees and uneven dirt roads!

When he was confused, he suddenly heard the sound of bushes from behind him. Because of his body ache, Kenneth simply raised his hand up and wanted to take out the ice element from his palm.

"Ululu..it's so cute for you!" Arion came out of the bushes while carrying a strange animal. "Had Caith been like you" Arion seemed to be engrossed alone with the animal.

"Whatis that? Where have you been?" kenneth asked puzzledly as he continued to stare at the strange animal.

"I found this animal, she's adorable" Arion smiled broadly.

The animal was like a brown fox. His tail was dense by his fur, on his head he had a pair of small horns, his eyes were completely black and he acted like a puppy by sticking his tongue out.

"What animal is that?" Kenneth was still looking at him with a look of wanting to chase the animal away.

"I found him stuck between the roots of a tree, his leg stuck there. Then, I saved it and I brought it here" replied Arion as he stroked the animal's head.

"Whatever it is, you better let go. How did the mother come and its size was large? He'll tear us apart later" Kenneth said.

"You're overreacting" Arion stepped closer. "Again, I don't see Foma's mother"

"Fome?" ask Kenneth.

"That's his name"

"You gave it a name?! You're nuts! Return it to where it came from!" exclaim Kenneth, surprise.

Arion did not respond to Kenneth's words. He tidied up the things under the tree where Kenneth had fallen asleep. Due to Foma's small size, Arion placed it over his head. Foma looked to be enjoying Arion's smooth head and hair.

"Come, we're on to our next destination. Supposedly, we're almost close to Anvio Village" Arion took a step first while carrying his belongings.

Kenneth grunted softly. "What can I do".

After quite a long walk and also their stamina had also been drained a lot, they stopped in front of a hut.

"We're resting here" said Arion.

"Finally!" Kenneth lay in the grass because he was exhausted.

Suddenly, Foma leaped onto Kenneth's face which left the man in shock and instantly rose from his fall style.

"Fucking animal!" Kenneth accidentally throws a loaf of bread at Foma.

Foma immediately jumped up and caught the bread with his mouth. Realizing that it was his food, Kenneth let out an annoyed scream.

"Basic of brash animals!"

Arion ignored the two, and from that moment on he continued to fan his face with a piece of paper. The sun today is hotter than usual.

Suddenly...

An arrow shot out from behind Arion. Knowing the arrival of the arrow, Arion immediately lowered his head, as a result the arrow missed and stuck in front of Arion.

Arion immediately jumped up and stood facing the direction of the arrow. Kenneth was immediately on standby because he saw Arion who suddenly just moved quickly from his position.

They both saw a group of people dressed in black and wearing masks and armed. They are bandits.

"There are bullies, we never have much leisure time" Kenneth grumbled.

"That's how the outside world is. Get used to it" replied Arion.

"You people! Give all your possessions if you still love life!" exclaimed one of the bandits while Kenneth was still talking to Arion.

Arion and Kenneth could have killed them with a single move without any moves but Arion remained silent and heard their wishes. However, without him noticing, Foma growled towards the bandits.

Foma ran towards the bandits. Arion was surprised to see Foma move all of a sudden.

"From!" shout Arion.

The animal roared loudly, letting out a strong wind and a burst of flames from within its mouth, causing the burst of flames to become extremely large. The fire led to the bandits and burned them all out.

Arion and Kenneth could only see with their mouths wide open. Foma's strength could not be expected, such a huge strength was indeed very shocking for the two of them.

"Excellent.." murmured Kenneth.

Arion sat on his knees to stroke Foma's head. "You're small and horrible, yeah"

the Ethinos Headquarters

Banier and Fieyni were sitting on their knees in a large hall room. There are some Ethinos who also see what Sava will do to them.

Banier and Fieyni have failed to bring Retian here, which is a pretty big failure, considering that Banier has been following Retian for quite a while and the result he went home empty-handed.

"Give it once" said Sava. "You guys failed to bring that Necromancer here, is that really hard for you to do?"

Banier and Fieyni just kept their heads down.

"Will we do what, sir?" Yora approached, as if she wanted to punish these two Ethinos.

"Make them Cremon, sir!"

"Right, we don't need those two losers!"

That was the cheering of the other members who were very disappointed in them. Sava just silently looked at these two men.

"Stop"

A girl's voice sounded from behind the other members who were there. Everyone looked at the same direction, there was a girl with a fox type and dressed all in black. His hair was short and had a cold look.

"Don't punish them" he stepped over to Sava and Yora.

"Faish? Whatchu mean?" ask Sava.

"Let them. What they are fighting against is the Dark Lord's subordinate Necromancer and I was also told that the Necromancer was assisted by my former brother who was the last Whiteblood" Faesa replied.

Faesa looked at Fieyni for a moment and turned back to Sava. "Their failure was just a coincidence"

"But from that failure they made the Necromancer realize that he was our target" said Sava.

"Then let them fix it" Faesa replied calmly.

Sava thought for a moment before nodding and agreeing to Faesa's suggestion.

"The Necromancer's hunting mission will still run, but I will add a lot of members. You two, track down the Necromancer's whereabouts and this time don't fail" Sava said.

"All right!" Answer them simultaneously.

"May I ask for advice?" ask Faesa.

"What's that?"

"I'm going to be on this mission"

Sava smiled broadly. "Sure, you can come. Maybe you'll avenge your frustration on those Blackclaws and Whitebloods"

"Yes, I will definitely do that" Faesa nodded then turned to step outside.

Faesa sat on a large rock enjoying the night breeze that was blowing gently into his face.

"You're here to thank me? I don't think it's necessary" Faesa said, noticing Fieyni's arrival.

"Why are you protecting me?" ask Fieyni.

"I just need you for the next mission. I thought it would be a waste if you were made Cremon" Faesa looked back. "Like what happened to your brother"

Fieyni clenched her hands tightly. Faesa turned back to face forward. "What do you think of Arion?"

"He is strong and fast. Unlike what you said three years ago" Fieyni replied.

"He's grown up. Of course" Faesa nodded slowly.

"Then, what's your plan?"

"I've cut ties in the past. I don't hesitate to kill anyone who gets in my way right now. Now, we carry out this mission and I want success"
