midoria
"That's her. Midoria" Faesa said.
They were already in front of the Midoria border gate. The gate was guarded by dozens of Archer-class Elves. Arion and Faesa were not the only arrivals, there were many people from different regions coming here to attend the event organized by the Midorian clan.
"Too crowded, the tax may be quite large" Arion said.
"Just calm down, I've anticipated it" Faesa replied.
After waiting long enough, it was their turn at the post to enter. An Elf soldier asked for their data.
Faesa showed him the royal coat of arms of Rabadar. The soldier was a little surprised, then let them in without a single tax.
"How can you?" ask Arion, confused.
"Midoria is our alliance, one of our agreements with them is that we can enter their territory without taxes, and vice versa" Faesa replied.
Midoria is one of the largest Elven regions. This area is a forest that has been arranged into a city. With its green panorama, this area is one of the most advanced. The buildings here are more in the form of large trees, even the sky of this area is mostly covered by dense foliage and trees.
"This area is as awesome as ever" Faesa said.
After having their horses drop at the horse post, the two make their way through the city. Midoria is also one of the areas that will advance their trade, so it is not surprising to see many traders who peddle their goods there.
"So, what's our plan now?" ask Faesa.
Not yet able to answer, a man's cry made the two look at the same direction. Two men riding on their horses each seemed to be going through this path.
The two horsemen were escorted by several soldiers in blue uniforms. Faesa immediately pulled Arion over.
"Who are they?" ask Arion.
"They are from the Meinzin clan"
"Meinzin's? I've never heard"
"This Clan Meinzin is very rich, they can even afford to buy a kingdom. Not only rich, this clan also produced talented knights"
Then Faesa pointed to one of the horsemen. "He was Trimetra, an heir to the Meinzin clan. His grandfather was the leader of the clan and was said to be the one to replace his grandfather"
Trimetra Meinzin's. A 25-year-old young man, he had a handsome face with a cold countenance. Black-haired, tall and athletic looking, he is the girl's dream man.
Faesa was pensive for a moment but he regained consciousness. "He's here to propose to Miss Frimeya"
Trimetra and his entourage passed them both. Trimetra slightly glanced at Arion before looking back ahead.
"Hey, what are you doing in there?"
The distinctive baritone voice with a slight rasp attracted the attention of the two. There was Eden there, sitting in a chair enjoying a cup of coffee.
"Eden?" Faesa was astonished and shocked. "He's the reason you're here?"
"Yes" Arion nodded.
"Why is Faesa here?" ask Eden.
"In the meantime, why did you call Arion here?" Faesa asked back.
"Why are you coming too?" ask Eden again.
"Answer my question first" Faesa would not budge.
"Enough, enough, enough. There's nothing to argue about" Arion directly interceded. "I'm also confused as to why Eden called me here all the way"
Eden took a short breath. "alright. It has to do with your race, Faesa"
"My horse?" ask Faesa, confused.
"Yes. Actually I've found suspicion"
"You suspect my race?" Faesa cut straight.
"Calm down first, Faesa" said Arion.
"Patience first. This might indeed have something to do with the Demi-Human race" Eden took out a piece of paper and showed it to them. "Have you seen this symbol?"
Arion and Faesa looked at it carefully. The image is like the head of a lion with sheep's horns.
"No, I've never seen it" replied Arion.
"Sama" said Faesa.
Eden explained, already five people from the Demi-Human race that he found lying on the ground with an unconscious state and all five have the symbol above his navel.
"Three of them were wolves, one lion and the rest were snakes"
"Why with them?" ask Arion.
"It looks like they turned into animals completely" Eden replied.
"Whatchu mean? The curse is long gone" Faesa argued.
"I saw it myself" answered Eden. Faesa. "During the test a few days ago, I met one of them, a wolf. That person also has this mark"
Later, Eden explained her concerns to the Demi-Human race. According to him, this must be eradicated before growing up.
The Demi-Human race does have the power to change, but that power makes them forget about themselves. They would not be able to distinguish between a friend and an opponent. If they change, their brain and heart will not work, but their lust will control their entire body.
"In this place there are so many Demi-Human races, it is not impossible that there are culprits here" said Eden.
"You think this is because of someone?" ask Faesa.
"Can. Let me ask you, is that symbol on your body?" Eden asked back.
"No. Just this time I saw him" Faesa replied.
"In my opinion at the moment, there might be people who intentionally infuse magic into the body of the Demi-Human race to..." Eden stopped talking.
"For what?" ask Arion.
Eden narrowed her eyes. He saw a person covered in brown robes staggering and disappearing in an alley.
"Follow me" Eden rose straight from his chair and followed the man.
"Hey, where?" ask Faesa. Both followed from behind.
The alley was not quiet, there were still some people there who were passing by. Eden walked quickly, Arion and Faesa had a little trouble following him from behind.
Aware of being followed, the person immediately turned a corner. Eden immediately told them to hurry, chase after the man. They turned and found an alley, Faesa saw him turning to the right.
"That's it!" yells.
The three of them ran small then turned to follow the direction of the person's path. However, dead-end. There's only a dumpster and a few piles of junk.
"What's? There's no way he's missing. I swear I saw him turn" Faesa said, in shock.
"Be quiet, no one blames you" Eden said.
Arion raised his right hand forward. The junkyard turned into ice and grew bigger. Then, the man came out from his hiding place.
"Agod! Don't hurt me!" his yell.
He looks pale and thin dry. The man was crying to be released, from his cries alone it could be felt that he was very tormented.
The three of them were unable to see the man's face clearly due to the dark state of the alley and also because it was covered in the hood of his robe.
"I'll ask you one question. Are you from the Demi-Human race?" ask Eden.
"Please let me go. I'm.. I'm not strong" the guy chanted.
"Why him?" ask Faesa.
"Something's wrong" Eden frowned.
The man's eyes turned green. They could see the light from the eyes from the darkness.
"Please..."
"It's bad" Arion said.
The man stepped slowly out of the darkness. Eden, Arion and Faesa widened their eyes, they were very surprised to see the man's half-spider face.
"Gosh" murmured Faesa.
"Damn it, he will react" Eden said.
Then, they heard the laughter of someone coming from behind the man.
"Take their blood"
After that, the man turned into a giant spider with a height of 5 meters.
Not having time for the three to pick up a weapon, the spider shot its web at them until it crashed out of the alley. The people who saw him screamed hysterically and ran everywhere.
The three of them ended up in front of a shop trapped by spider webs.
"We need to get out of here!" shouted Faesa.
The three tried their hardest to escape from the net. Suddenly, the spider jumped up and appeared right in front of them.
Arion and Faesa shouted as loud as possible.
"Thunder Bite!"
Eden immediately unleashed his lightning ability. The lightning cut through the net quickly. Finally, the three of them were free and immediately got out of there.
"This animal is big" murmured Arion.
Eden pulled out a long sword. "Remove this quickly, or there won't be many casualties!" exclaim Eden.
"It's easy to say!" arion replied, he drew his sword.
From the security post there, the guards were astonished to see everyone running from the direction of the city center.
"What's wrong?" ask an Elf.
"There's a giant spider attack there!" report one of the guards who just came.
"What?"
Back to the three of them.
Faesa exchanged attacks with the spider's legs using his drum.
"His feet are like iron!" Faesa.
Arion elicits an ice attack from the air. Both of his hands were covered in ice, he could control the ice movement from the movement of his hands. He can also bring out ice by opening his palm.
Arion hits the air. Simultaneously, a chunk of ice hit the spider's body until it almost lost its balance.
The Elf army came with a surprised face.
"What's going on here?!"

the Midorian Castle
The atmosphere of the castle is still enlivened by the audience who want to propose Frimeya.
Frimeya himself was sitting in his chair while propping up his face with his arms. He was tired and bored, while his father still guided the event to be as lively as possible.
"This is a long time ago." murmured Frimeya.
Suddenly, a soldier entered the castle with a panicked look on his face.
"Mr Serva, Mr Serva!"
Then it makes Serva-Dad Frimeya-to be surprised and confused. The whole audience looked at the soldier.
"What's wrong?" ask Serva.
"There's a giant spider attacking the city, sir!"
The whole audience looked at each other. Serva widened her eyes, while Frimeya immediately stood up.
"Alright, send our soldiers to finish it off and move the citizens to safety" Serva ordered.
"Good!" The soldier rushed away.
"Sorry, because there are threatening obstacles out there, we are reluctantly delaying this event" Serva immediately closed the event and was about to leave for the scene.
"Dad, I'm coming" Frimeya said.
"No, stay here and guard the castle" replied Serva.
"I can take care of myself, Dad. I'll help you"
Serva wanted to refuse again, but there was a voice that caught her attention.
"Let Miss Frimeya come along, Mr. Serva, I will take care of her" Trimetra said.
"What?" frimeya Gumam. He became astonished and confused to see this man in front of him.
"All right, we're going there"
The three of them ran towards their horses.
"Young Master, I can take care of myself, you don't have to bother" Frimeya said.
"I don't want you to get hurt" he replied with a flat face. They drove horses to the attack site.
