The Last Whiteblood's

The Last Whiteblood's
Descendants of the Dragon

"So, this is his house" Luke said with a gaping mouth.

"It's the same as a Governor's house!"

The three of them were stunned when they saw the large and luxurious Village Chief's house. The house is located on the edge of the lake and has a private harbor for boats that want to pass across the lake.

The house is three-storied with luxurious architecture. The village chief had a large garden in front of his house as well as a white fountain. There are four guard towers.

There were several Centaurs touring around the house and ten men in armor.

"It's tight" said Glenn.

"Almost like the bodyguard of a King" Arion chuckled in admiration. They started moving from where they were hiding.

Arion wants to go straight to the gatekeeper of the house to ask to enter, but Glenn holds Arion's shoulder.

"Don't! Maybe it'll be dangerous, we'll be shot dead before we go inside"

"We don't know yet" replied Arion.

"Glenn is right, it might be dangerous. You don't remember the citizens' reaction?" ask Luke.

Arion. "Then, how do we get to the Village Chief?"

Luke smiled broadly. "Give it to me"

A human soldier yawned while walking, he looked sleepy but kept watch. When he stepped over the hedge, he was pulled inside. Two other guards also passed through the same spot and were also pulled into the hedge.

A little while later, Arion, Luke and Glenn walked out of there with the appearance of the three warriors. They took the clothes of the three soldiers and made the three lose consciousness inside the hedges.

"Done" Luke smiled.

"Let's go in" Arion stepped in first.

Arion and his two friends walk by acting as if they were soldiers. The three of them blend in well there. The bodyguards even the tower guards were unaware of their disguise.

As they stepped onto the porch of the house, a Centaur called out to them from behind. The three froze, shocked by him.

"Where are you going? Want to leave your post?" ask the Centaur.

Arion turned his back slowly, as did Luke and Glenn. Cold sweat splashed across their faces and Luke gulped down his own saliva.

"Hm?" The centaur raised one of his eyebrows.

"K-us ..." Arion tries to find an excuse, but her voice is cut off by the male voice from inside the house.

"There you guys turned out, quickly help me" he said.

The man was wearing clothes like the nobles. His short hair was black and carried a sword on his waist.

Arion nodded quickly, they entered with the man into the house. The centaur looked at them from the outside, Luke staring at him for a second through the shoulder. He shuddered in horror and looked back to the front.

"Your disguises are good too" said the man. The three became shocked and looked at each other.

The four of them stopped, the man turned around and looked at them with a faint smile.

"Where ... Do you know?" ask Arion.

"I am the son of the Village Chief, my name is Mike" he extended his hand to Arion who was greeted slowly. "You must be the emissaries of the academy?"

"really. We are here for the exam" replied Arion.

"Yes, I know. You guys are better than royal messengers" Mike said.

Glenn frowned. "What do you mean?"

"You'll find out later, but you have to act like soldiers" Mike walked back to the front.

At first Arion and his two friends are confused by Mike's words, but they still obey and follow Mike.

They entered a corridor filled with soldiers standing lined up on the wall while holding spears. There's a pair of doors at the end of the corridor, that's where they're headed.

"I want to see my dad" Mike told the door guard.

The soldier narrowed his eyes at Mike, but Mike didn't care about it. They were also allowed in. Inside there was a middle-aged man with a thick mustache and beard. The man had a long hair. He was sitting in his chair.

"Dad" call Mike. The man raised his head up, looking at Mike with his tired eyes.

"Who are they?" ask the Village Chief.

"They're emissaries from Gyrawart Academy, Arhav" Mike replied.

"really? Hmph! It seems that the royal government has started ignoring us" the Village Chief said, annoyed.

The village of Egrit was under the rule of the ruling Kingdom of Gavlium on the northern border of the Kingdom of Rabadar.

"Sorry, Mr. .. Why are you so upset? What's problem?" ask Arion.

"You guys from the academy don't know anything, huh? All right, I'll explain"

The village chief got up from his seat. Standing staring at Arion and her two friends sharply.

He recounted that Egrit Village was attacked by a large herd of Goblins. Together with a number of Orcs, they attacked the village until they were forced to surrender.

The Village Chief already had no other choice but to completely give up. The village guard soldiers and most of the men in the village had already been killed, so the strength of the village decreased drastically and the royal envoy had not come either.

Amidst the panic, a black-robed man with a hood covering his head arrived. He held a stick as his weapon. The village chief grew panicked with his appearance.

"Who is he?" ask Glenn.

"His name is Retian and he's a Necromancer"

"Nec-necromancers?" Luke was shocked. He never expected to hear that class in this village.

The village chief told me again. Retian tells him that he must hand over the descendants of the Dragon to him, otherwise this village will be completely destroyed. The Village Chief did not know anything about it, Retian also threatened to torture him and his family if he lied but Retian could see the Village Chief was honest.

Then, Retian struck a deal with the Village Chief to work together to find the descendant. But, as long as they were looking for the descendants, the movements of the Village Chief were closely monitored and the villagers were not allowed to leave this village.

"Every way I've worked to escape Retian supervision, one of which is asking for royal help but they don't want to know and don't care.

You see those guards outside? They are not my bodyguards, all the soldiers in this village have been killed or thrown into the dungeon" said the Village Chief.

Glenn looked out the window, watching the entire soldier.

"They are not living creatures, but corpses. They were all puppets of that Necromancer, Retian" The Village Chief was already at the peak of his anger, he had almost lost control of him.

"Dad ..." Mike gave her a glass of water. The village chief drank it all out.

Arion seemed to think. He didn't think it would be this complicated and difficult. It must not take wrong steps or the consequences will not be fatal.

"The necromancer is no match for us at the moment, nor do I know its power" Arion said.

"But .we have to find out first who is the descendant of this Dragon, then we think of another way to deal with this Necromancer" he continued.

While humming, Rena was busy picking tea leaves. Sometimes he rubbed the sweat on his forehead. Even though the sun is hot on it, it still works and does not complain. Rena seems to enjoy her work.

"Eh?" Rena was shocked by the hand of someone who took the tea leaves she wanted to take. Rena turned to the source, it turns out that the culprit is Daendra.

"T-Master? Wh-what are you doing here? You'll still be hurt" asked Rena, worried and shocked.

"I don't want to owe you anything, so let me help you work" Daendra replied as she stuffed tea leaves into the basket she was carrying.

"But, I feel sincere to help you" Rena said.

"Yes, I just don't want to owe you anything" Daendra said in a raised tone. Instead of being scared or depressed, Rena wanted to laugh.

"Hey, what's so funny?!" Daendra was upset.

"N-no, somehow if you get angry like that it looks funny" Rena replied with a smile holding back laughter.

"You're weird. Almost similar to that stupid Arion" grumbled Daendra.

"Your brother?"

"He's not my brother!"

From a distance, the white-eyed Goblin watched the village from a distance. He along with several other Goblins, his mission is to find the existence of the Dragon's descendants.

"Find the offspring and no one kidnaps the villagers, or else I will be killed by Retian. You're looking for clues or something, this time we need to know where he is"

The goblin puffed up his wily smile.
