Crushed melting. That was the right word to describe the condition of Egrit Village.

The village had become a great battle. Their paddies are now barren fields with flames everywhere. Then, the houses of the citizens who have now turned into chunks of wood and stone are scattered on the road.

Not to mention the explosion that made the village streets like a military training field. Hobs and flames filled the surface of the village.

A golden mace fell from the sky and stuck it on the ground. Shortly after, someone took it. Faesa threw the mace back at its owner who had been seriously injured. Glenn sat on his knees while holding his arm.

Glenn's head poured fresh blood over his left eye. The former slash and claw imprinted on his body, then his right hand could not be moved.

Looking around, Glenn had already lost this fight.

"You still suck like you used to, Glenn" Faesa said.

Glenn tried his hardest to re-establish his head. He showed a row of teeth, his eyes looking furiously at Faesa.

"Now, what are you gonna do?" faesa asked as she tilted her head. "You obviously don't have much of a chance"

Glenn did not know what to respond to. He's really running out of ideas. For the first time, he was weak in front of Faesa. Glenn would not have thought he would be defeated and humiliated by Faesa to this extent. All he knew, Faesa used to be a spoiled Destroyer.

Faesa wagged his tail. "My business here is done." he said. Faesa extended his hand forward.

"Qube Art - Fireballs"

Along with the flick of its tail that created the wind element, the dozens of fireballs became huge and led to Glenn.

Suddenly, a green-robed person appeared before Glenn. That person lifted his bow forward and waited for the giant fireball to come.

BOOM UP!

Big explosions happened many times. Faesa waited there to see if Glenn had died in his last attack.

The puff of smoke began to fade, Faesa narrowed her eyes. He felt that someone was standing firmly in the moon. Suddenly, three green arrows shot rapidly towards Faesa.

The fox girl parried the three arrows. Although he could handle it, Faesa was still shocked to receive the surprise attack.

"Who is that?" faesa Gumam.

The man lifted his bow up, then he pulled the bowstring and then released it without any arrows there. A gust of wind blew through the puff of smoke to the point of no silence, revealing himself completely before Faesa.

"You.." Faesa frowned.

Meanwhile, Glenn was similarly shocked. "Luke.."

"Luke, Psycho Archer, came in time to save his old friend" Luke said with courage and confidence.

Faesa smiled obliquely. "So, are you really one of those 10 Knights? It's unbelievable"

Luke twirled his bow. "Whatever you say, Faesa. You traitor!"

Faesa let out a spark in his palm, then he clenched tightly. Luke realizes that, soon Faesa will bring out another and troublesome nurse.

Luke aimed at the ground, not far from his feet. "If it's just for a second, I'm sick of seeing your face. I hope Arion and Daendra can beat your cent's face"

After which, he shot his arrow towards the ground and out a blanket of light that dazzled the eyes. The light was short, but Luke, Glenn and Mike were not there.

"Luke.." murmured Faesa. "Even though you hate me, I still..."

***

A portal gate opened from above the sky. Eden came up from there and landed on the roof. The night scene in Windnemus City was indeed incomparable.

One of these luxurious cities always glows when night falls. Activities never end in this city. Eden could see all of that from the roof of the tower.

Not long after, a dense black puff of smoke appeared beside him. Raising Retian with a stick in his right hand.

"What's your plan here?" ask Retian.

Before coming here, Eden and Retian had worked together to get rid of Ethinos. Though peaceful, but it was only for a while. The two also did not lower their vigilance towards each other.

Eden started from the city center. He wondered to the people there about Ethinos. Some of them had indeed heard of the organization, but Ethinos had never appeared in the city.

Retian only noticed from afar the efforts made Eden. The man really tried hard, tirelessly he continued to move from one citizen to another. It makes Retian wonder, he also thought why Eden so serious.

After searching for information that the result is nil, Eden returned to the place of Retian. The necromancer was waiting for him next to the food stall.

"Have you?" ask Retian.

Eden shook his head, he let out a long sigh and sat down the wooden chair beside the tavern.

"I thought this town wasn't Ethinos' target. We're just wasting our time here" Retian said.

Yeah, they've been wasting time. Eden rubbed his face with both hands, he was completely unable to think. Eden is currently thinking a lot, he is worried that something bad will happen.

"You scared?" ask Retian, suddenly. "You look disturbed by something"

Eden was silent.

"If you don't want to tell a story, it doesn't matter. If-"

"It's about my brother" Eden cut out Retian's speech.

Eden turned to Retian. "He's a Demi-Human race"

Retian frowned. "He's a Demi-Human? And you're a human being"

"Not my real sister, she's my foster sister. I found it in the river as a baby. It's a cat"

Eden rested her head while closing her eyes. "I'm so worried about him.."

Retian patted Eden's shoulder. "Relighted, once Ethinos is gone, everything will return to normal"

Eden smiled faintly. "Hmph, I never thought you'd say that, have you been good?"

"I'm a good person, you can't see it" Retian snorted in annoyance.

"Oh yeah? Since when did the Necromancer become a good person?" Eden raised her eyebrows in surprise.

Without them noticing, a girl appeared behind them while pointing both of her daggers at their bodies.

"You intruders. Don't make sudden movements"

The girl's voice sounded gripping. Retian's gaze became flat.

"It's all because you're the one who's talking to me"

"Why am I the one you blame?" ask Eden.

Hearing Eden's voice, the girl caught her breath. "You.. Eden?"

Eden widened her eyes, slowly she turned her head behind her. Apparently, the girl was Alice.

"Alice?"

"It turns out to be true, you're Eden" Alice heaved a sigh of relief. He pulled both his hands back.

Retian looked confusedly at Eden. His gaze was as if to say, You know him?. Eden pretended not to understand the gesture.

"What business are you here for?" ask Alice.

"It just so happens that we met you. We want to ask for help" Eden replied.
