What Plan?

Still in Windnemus City. After Eden and Retian accidentally meet Alice, the three of them go to Alice's office.

His office is in a police area, which is heavily guarded by personnel. The area was filled with buildings that were spaced between each other, the streets were wide and many personnel passed by.

Alice comes with Eden and Retian. Some of the personnel stared at Retian with misgivings. Retian is naturally suspected, in terms of clothing alone has made people misunderstand. Fortunately, Retian did not care about that gaze.

"Ethinos has never attacked this city. So, the info I gave you was a little bit and probably also useless" Alice said.

"Hm" sahut Eden. "Not what"

They entered a building. The two guards saluted Alice and gave Retian a sharp look.

"They're all sensitive to me" Retian murmured.

Eden chuckled very slowly, but Alice could hear him. "Is something funny?"

"No, continue"

They reached Alice's room. The room was small enough for a leader. This room was also full of documents and paper scrolls, but everything was neatly arranged. Its patterned floor contrasts sharply with its cream-colored walls.

Eden glanced at the two papers that were stuck on the wall. One of the papers had been torn, but the other was still intact with the face of the person he knew there. Brian.

"You're still tracking him?" ask Eden.

Although she did not see the direction of Eden, Alice knew who she was talking about.

"Still and I won't stop" he said as he searched for what he was looking for.

"Find you" Alice throws a scroll to Eden who is captured perfectly.

"That's the document I got while I was outside. I didn't understand the contents, so I kept it" Alice said.

Eden opened the scroll, Retian stepped closer. Eden lowered the scroll and turned to Retian.

"You smell like a corpse, stay away" Eden said.

"Don't lure me" Retian seized the scroll, but was recaptured by Eden.

The contents of the document relate to Ethinos. The two of them read carefully, it contained only three words. Namely, Master or Surrender.

"Possess or surrender" murmured Eden. "What does that mean?"

"It's kind of a talisman" Retian guessed.

"From you got this?" ask Eden.

"On the street, I told you" replied Alice.

"All right.." Eden put the scroll in his cloak. "Then we'll go. Thanks for the help"

Eden and Retian turned around and were about to leave, but Alice called out the name Eden.

"Eden"

"Hm?" The blackclaws stopped and looked back.

"Can I talk to you for a second?"

Eden was silent for a moment before nodding, he turned to Retian. The look of the signal was immediately understood by the Necromancer.

"Okay, don't be long" he went first.

After Retian left, the atmosphere became quiet for a moment. After not seeing each other for three years, they met suddenly without planning.

"When in the city.." Alice opened her voice. "You told me one thing"

"You and I both have a problem with Brian. I hope in the future, we can finish him off. Together"

"Eden, I'm sober. Whenever I go after Brian, I won't be able to get him. And, your promise that time..." Alice suddenly stood still and looked at the floor.

"What's wrong?" ask Eden. "You've given up?"

"I need time to understand how I feel." replied Alice.

Eden let out a short sigh, he extended his hand forward. "Come here" he said.

Alice was confused, but she kept walking closer and welcomed the man's hand. Suddenly, a ray of light shot out from Eden's hand, making the girl shocked. Just for a moment, after that the light disappeared.

Eden let go of Alice's hand. "I put my energy into your body. This ability was one of the powers that the Blackclaws clan possessed"

Alice looked at her hands, she felt a new force flowing through her body.

"What are you giving your energy to?" ask Alice, confused.

"If you manage to defeat Brian, then I'm indirectly involved as well. So together we defeated him" replied Eden.

Alice smiled. "Basic, it's cheating"

"What matters together"

Alice folded her hands on her chest. "Then, what are your plans to deal with this Ethinos?"

"Before confronting them, I need a large reinforcements"

"Will there be a war?"

"Qube Art - Dragon Dance Breathing!"

Ed breathed fire on a massive scale. The fire made the temperature around him rise drastically. The power that is being put on is enormous.

"Qube Art - Exploding Fire!"

Rofa clapped his hands together, then created an explosion in the middle of the training field.

Kenneth who was looking from afar could only gulp and creep in fear. He did not dare to tease the two boys if he did not want to be charred to the ground.

"They're terrible, aren't they?"

The baritone's voice came from behind him, Kenneth turned his head and found Daendra there with a cup of tea.

"When they are too young, how will their strength grow up?"

Kenneth shakes. "I don't want to imagine it"

Daendra laughed crisply and walked to Kenneth's side. "You yourself how? What's element?"

A huge explosion reappeared, turning the sky red for a moment. Kenneth grimaces the horror of seeing it, while Daendra is seen enjoying it.

"What do you think of Arion's plan?" ask Kenneth.

"Hm.." Daendra thought. When Arion invites him to reclaim Rabadar, Daendra's heart becomes doubtful.

Daendra tells Arion that he is not ready and there are no plans to bring down Dominick. Rabadar Empire currently had a formidable alliance and warriors. Attacking without preparation is tantamount to dying.

Daendra had also enjoyed life as an ordinary person. He likes to sell and earn money, then he spends and feeds his family. But, the soul of his leadership and nobility still existed, so that inside him was shrouded in deep doubt.

Not long after, there was a small commotion behind them. The culprit is a gene that Elena saw protesting about her shawl.

"Hey, you two, why the fuss?" ask Daendra.

"Master! This thief once stole my sash, but now he doesn't want to replace it!" answer the Gen that pointed at Elena.

"No thief had ever changed back his stolen goods" Elena said as she spread her shoulders.

"Bas with you!" Gen started to be at the peak of his patience.

"Already, already" Arion came out from inside the house. "It's still morning. Gen, come here"

Gen is approaching Arion. He was given a number of coins, Gen was astonished and confused.

"This..for what, sir?"

"Buy that shawl"

Gen gawking. "really?"

Arion smiled as he nodded. "Alice and Ken, you're with Gen"

The smile on Gen's face faded as Arion told Alice to come along. "What?"

Alice embraced the little man. "Don't worry, I'll take care of this guy" Elena smiled broadly and Gen knew the meaning of that smile.

"Why am I following along too?" ask Kenneth.

"Ck, come along. Don't protest too much" Arion said.

Kenneth rolled both his eyes lazily. The three of them went to the city to buy the fussed scarf.

Arion sees them going away, while Daendra looks at Arion's back from behind. He began to remember the first time Arion came to the palace, at that time he was a slum and malnourished child. Now, he is fitter and familiar with people.

"You have two cool guys" said Daendra.

"I never thought of them as men" replied Arion. "They are my friends"

"Yes, you're right too"

Moments later, two men came to Daendra's house. They asked where Rena was.

"Rena is inside. What's the need?" ask Daendra.

"There was a man seriously injured, he came with Psycho Archer. We need Miss Rena's ability to treat her"

"Well, I'll call you" Daendra ran into the house. It didn't take long, they both got out.

"Come, sir, show me the way" Rena said.

The two men left with Rena. Arion is coming too.

"Eh, where are you going?" ask Daendra.

"Follow them" replied Arion who ran away with Rena. Daendra who was curious would not want to come with them.
