The Last Queen of Peacelava

The Last Queen of Peacelava
CHAPTER 32

Xin Qian went to the room where the demons were locked up, but once she got there the demons were not there. Xin Qian was extremely panicked and looked around for those demons. Then he met Jiang Li and withdrew his hand.

"Where are you hiding my friends? Tell me quickly!" xin Qian said to Jiang Li in an angry tone.

Jiang Li smiled coldly and only looked at Xin Qian who was angry at him.

"Jiang Li's! Are you deaf? Why don't you answer me?" Xin Qian shook Jiang Li's body.

Xin Qian was furious that Jiang Li did not answer him at all, but instead looked at him with a flat face. Xin Qian frowned then released her hand from Jiang Li.

Jiang Li then walked slowly closer to Xin Qian until Xin Qian's back stuck to the wall. Jiang Li brought her face closer towards Xin Qian, then Xin Qian pushed Jiang Li's face backwards.

"Ahh ... You dare push me?" jiang Li asked in a high tone.

"Jiang Li, tell me now where my friends are!" reply Xin Qian.

"What if I don't want to tell you?" jiang Li asked Xin Qian.

"I'll ...." Xin Qian pointed her index finger at Jiang Li's face. Jiang Li held onto Xin Qian's hand then lowered it.

"I've moved those demons elsewhere," Jiang Li whispered into Xin Qian's ears softly.

"Why isn't he mad when I point my finger at his face?" inner Xin Qian.

"Where did you move them?"

Jiang Li pulled Xin Qian's hand and took her to the library. Arriving there, Xin Qian looked at the entire library in confusion.

"What are you taking me to this place for?"

Jiang Li asked Xin Qian to turn the bookshelf upside down, Xin Qian then turned it over. But after he entered it, he found no one.

"Jiang Li, why are you taking me to this place? There's no one here, where are you hiding my friends?" xin Qian asked in anger.

"Calm down, Xin Qian! Your friends will be fine. I won't kill them as long as you're willing to submit and obey all my orders." Jiang Li threatened.

"I will not bow down to you! Tell me where you hid them, Jiang Li!" reply Xin Qian tightly.

"It's up to you, but don't blame me if you won't be able to meet those demons." Jiang Li left that place.

"Whatchu mean? Jiang Li's!" Xin Qian called Jiang Li, but Jiang Li neither turned her head nor answered her.

"Jiang Li!!" Xin Qian kept calling Jiang Li's name and following her.

Xin Qian confronted Jiang Li and held onto Jiang Li's right hand slowly.

"Please tell me where you're hiding them!" xin Qian asked in a tone like a person who wanted to cry.

"Why do I feel unbearable if I see him sad like this? Why are the demons so important to him?" inner Jiang Li.

"Jiang Li, I beg you."

Jiang Li had not had time to say anything to Xin Qian, a Soldier came over to the two of them.

"Master, king Wang Shu calls you," said the soldier.

"Alright, I'll be here soon," Jiang Li replied.

"remove! I have to go." Jiang Li removed Xin Qian's hand from her hand.

"Jiang Li, say it first ...." Xin Qian accidentally stepped on Jiang Li's hanfu which made her slip.

"Why is it that every time I look at his face, I feel that I've wronged him" Jiang Li said.

Jiang Li helped Xin Qian stand up then left her alone. Xin Qian could only stare at Jiang Li who had now walked away from him.

*******

A Dayang brought a glass of warm milk to Jiang Li's room. The dayang felt very afraid and hesitated to give the drink he brought to Jiang Li.

"Sir, I brought you some warm milk. Drink the milk while it is still warm" said Dayang.

Jiang Li grabbed the glass, then the lady immediately walked away from the place.

"Wait!" Jiang Li stopped him.

The dayang looked up while looking down. Jiang Li kissed the warm milk, then she threw the glass until it broke onto the floor.

"What did you put in that drink?" Jiang Li grabbed Dayang's hair.

"I didn't put anything in the drink, sir," said Dayang.

"I smell poison in it. I'm sure someone asked you to mix poison in it."

"No, Mister. I don't mix poison into that drink."

Xin Qian, Lui Wei, Zhang Pei and Shishi came to Jiang Li's room because of the noise.

"Jiang Li, what did you do to him?" Xin Qian let go of Jiang Li's hand which grabbed the ladyboy's hair.

"Bad! He's been mixing poison into my drink." Jiang Li pointed towards the Dayang.

"No, Her Majesty the Queen. Servant could not dare to do it," replied the Dayang.

"Jiang Li, he couldn't possibly do that." Xin Qian defended that Dayang.

"Oohh, I know now. You're the one who actually mixed the poison into my drink."

"No, Jiang Li. I didn't do it."

"I don't believe you! You want revenge on me, don't you? Because I hid those demons."

Lui Wei smiled happily as her arrow was now right on target. It was he who had mixed the poison into Jiang Li's drink.

He knew that the demons were very sensitive to the scent of something, and he had previously seen Xin Qian was scolding Jiang Li. That way Jiang Li would think that it was Xin Qian who had mixed the poison.

"I don't need to do anything big to make the Queen suffer. You're very intelligent, Lui Wei, "inner Lui Wei.

"Jiang Li, I swear I didn't do that. I do hate you so much and I was angry with you too, but it never once crossed my mind to kill you, Jiang Li."

"But I still don't believe you!"

"I believe that Her Majesty the Queen is unlikely to do so. Because he is not a cruel human like you," Zhang Pei told Jiang Li.

Jiang Li then struck Zhang Pei in the face, then Zhang Pei replied. Xin Qian stopped the fight between the two.

"Stop all this! I told you, Jiang Li, that I did not put poison in the drink. Aren't you a demon? You should have a good sense of who's lying here." Xin Qian then left them all behind.

Zhang Pei and Shishi left Jiang Li's room.

Lui Wei approached Jiang Li and tried to calm her down, but Jiang Li instead snapped at her and asked her to come out of her room. Lui Wei was very upset with Jiang Li's attitude towards him, then he came out from there in a state of anger.
