The afternoon had now changed by night, the bright rays of the moon illuminated the skies of Peacelavia. Xin Qian was walking past Ji Nian's room, she was about to catch up with the soldiers who had been waiting for her in front of the palace.
Xin Qian passed by Ji Nian who was indeed looking for her.
"Ji Nian, what are you doing? You should rest in your room." Xin Qian was startled to see Ji Nian who was walking by holding her stomach.
"Daughter, I'm looking for you." Ji Nian leaned her shoulders against the wall and was still holding her stomach.
"Do you need anything?" Xin Qian held onto Ji Nian's left arm.
"Daughter, I just want to ...." Ji Nian placed her chin on Xin Qian's left shoulder and hugged her.
The atmosphere instantly became very quiet, Shishi who was walking out of his room saw the sight. He then hid behind a large flower pot and eavesdropped on their conversation.
Xin Qian simply fell silent, she seemed to want to return Ji Nian's embrace but she hesitated.
"Daughter, why don't you return my embrace? Though I hope that you will hold me very tightly, "inner Ji Nian.
"What happened to Ji Nian? Is it getting worse now?" inner Xin Qian.
After a while Xin Qian fell silent, she directly lifted Ji Nian's chin from her shoulder to stand straight.

"Are you also worried about my situation?"

"I can't go with the Princess, but don't use this opportunity to approach her" Ji Nian told Zhang Pei.
Zhang Pei sighed.
"How dare you??"
"Easy! I don't want to see you guys fighting just over a small matter."
"Ji Nian, go into your room and rest. And you're Zhang Pei, we have to go now."
Behind the flower pot, Shishi gets annoyed and vents his emotions at the flower that is in the big pot until it falls.
The flower pot broke and hit Shishi's leg. Xin Qian and Zhang Pei heard if something broke, then they went the source of the sound.
"Muhi!" Xin Qian was surprised to see Shishi standing on one leg because the other leg was hit by a broken pot.
"How can this pot fragment hit your leg?" Xin Qian held onto both of Shishi's hands and helped him to walk.
Shishi pretended not to be able to walk so Zhang Pei would carry him, but Zhang Pei simply kept quiet and acted coldly towards Shishi.
"Daughter, my head hurts a little and I staggered, then I accidentally hit this flower pot," Shishi said, holding his head.
"Shishi, I'll help you walk."
"Daughter, I can't walk, my legs hurt a lot. Ahhh ...."
"Zhang Pei, can you hold Shishi and deliver him to the room?"
"alright. I'll do it for you."
Shishi smiled happily even though Zhang Pei did it because of Xin Qian. As he was carried by Zhang Pei, he continued to smile and looked at Zhang Pei's face. Zhang Pei felt uneasy with Shishi's constant attitude looking at him.
Arriving at the room, Zhang Pei directly lowered Shishi on the mattress with a slight roughness. Shishi was greatly astonished by Zhang Pei's cold attitude towards him.
Then Xin Qian came and brought a Palace Dayang. Xin Qian asked Dayang to treat Shishi's injured leg. While being treated, Shishi pretended to feel a great deal of pain.
Shishi hoped that Zhang Pei would care about him, but Zhang Pei still acted coldly and unwilling to even look at Shishi. After the wound on Shishi's leg was treated, Xin Qian asked Shishi to rest.
"Princess Xin Qian, master Yibo has been waiting for Princess and master Zhang Pei in front of the palace," said a Dayang who approached them.
"alright. We'll catch up soon," Xin Qian replied.
"Okay, Princess."
"Shishi, we're going out so you can rest."
"Wait on! Where are you and master Zhang Pei going?"
"We're going to the countryside to spread fireflies."
"Can I come with you?" shishi asked excitedly.
"No!" reply Zhang Pei with a throb.
"Shishi, your leg is injured. It'd be better if you stayed in your room and rested." Xin Qian looked at Shishi's bandaged feet.
"But I'm okay." Shishi moved his bandaged leg.
"I think you heard what Xin Qian's daughter said," Zhang Pei said. Then he turned his body and walked away from the room.
Shishi was annoyed with Zhang Pei and pretended to be ordinary. Xin Qian and Zhang Pei left Shishi alone in the room. Upon seeing the two of them leave, Shishi stood up and got angry.
"Heeehh! It was hard to get the attention of master Zhang Pei. I've done everything I could, but still I failed to make him care about me" Shishi murmured.
Without Shishi noticing, it turns out that Zhulong is in front of her room and sees that Shishi can stand up and walk upright. Zhulong now knew that Shishi was only pretending to be ill in order to get more attention.
"How dare that woman lie to Zhang Pei and Xin Qian? Just watch him!" zhulong.
