The Journey of Eternity

The Journey of Eternity
The Fire Maid - III

A man walked out from behind a tree with a white light enveloping him. The glare of the light led to a vast green meadow surrounded by lush circular forests. From behind his black cloak, he walked through the forest and stopped somewhere.

From behind the lush trees, there seemed to be a kingdom that was bustling with life. People are happy to socialize with each other. But for some reason, it even scratches the man's face from behind the hood he was wearing.

Walk through the city with a bustling life, from where he stood a man known as the king was sitting on his gallant horse and greeted the surrounding residents with a warm smile.

“King Yiury!” shouted one of the residents there with a steady figure of the man with the crown.

With the same warm smile, the king waved his hand as he continued on with the bodyguards that followed from the front-back.

Not long after the king's steps began to far away, the men and women whispered to each other between the ears by talking about the existing royal life. From the end of the road to the point the man stood up, everyone was talking about the same thing.

“Hey, I heard the king who had been killed a few months ago with his eldest son,” chirped a woman.

“That's right, the news said that they had been killed together while fighting the demons at the border and the entire army brought had been killed, ” said another.

“It doesn't matter? Moreover, the king and his eldest son were unlucky bearers for the Voltar royal family, right?”

“True, I heard first that the king had married a demon without the knowledge of the elder. In addition, his eldest son was also charged with serial murder that occurred during that month, right? He was also known as the Blood Prince.”

Without knowing any truth, the commoners were endless talking about the royal family. Hearing all the bad whispers, the robed man looked very upset and went from there to one place.

He was on a large tree with five sunflower buds growing around it. Just looking at him, the man stood on one side of the tree and whispered something.

“Nona, how much longer do I have to wait? Do I have to wait for this kingdom to become ruins? I ate the fruit of immortality just to wait for your return.” Said the man while squatting beside the tree.

For a moment, tears fell on one of the flowers. Without getting a single answer from his question, the man turned around and left there empty-handed. Back through the city life that felt so annoying to him, until in the same lush forest, he stopped and looked at the bright sun.

“What's the right time-banar will pay for all this?” he mumbled softly while continuing his footsteps.

He came across a large tree in the middle of the grass surrounded by a lush circular forest. He grasped the red jewel hanging from his neck and instantly a bright white light shone out from the tree. The white light was ushered in a dense forest with yellow foliage that flourished.

“This is not hell, this is my new abode as a demon. This is Soul Of Dark, the dark side of the world.”

The man continued his steps deeper into the forest. His footsteps came to a halt as something that sounded extremely loud moved towards him. Sure enough, a huge blaze of flames shot towards him and burned the trees he passed by. The man immediately dodged as quickly as possible, but the bottom of his cloak was burned by the fire, forcing him to remove it. The figure of the man wearing the same black suit was Arlo.

The place was standing somewhat closed due to some large trees in front of him. From where he stood, a man with a terrible laugh jumped up and down between the branches of the tree in the opposite direction of the fire. Not long after, the same two men he met while rescuing the boy named Leo also followed behind.

“Do they still deal with such a little boy? who is that little boy.” He muttered with a serious face.

Without a second thought, he immediately followed the three of them secretly and tried to catch up with the existence of the child, that's all if the assumption was right. Darting from the branches, he arrived at a fast flowing river. Seemed from a distance the boy was completely cornered there without any gaps to move.

“Already, just give up. In this way Mr. Daniel will not be angry with me anymore. Heh... bring him!” Said the man in the white robe who stood at the very front.

One of the men with his hood, walked over and threw two more daggers on each side of the boy. When for the last time the sword was struck in front of his face, a scythe floated up and smashed the sword in half. Not long after, the figure of the owner's man came from behind the forest trees and stood right in front of the child with his smile.

“Arlo! He's coming again!” said one of the men in the back.

“Are you okay, Leo?” chirped Arlo with a glance at Leo who stood trembling behind.

“I'm fine, thank you,”

Another smile was scratched on the lips of the man standing at the very front point, from the other party. He took three steps towards Arlo and greeted him in a slightly condescending tone.

“Hai, have we ever met. Yesterday I heard a story about you, Mr. Arlo. Right?” his words with joy.

Without giving the slightest response, Arlo just stared at him flatly.

“As I heard, you are a new resident? What do you mean by that? Are you not a demon yourself, like us?” continue the question by pointing at a sword that he pulled from his waist sheath.

“Do I have to repeat everything listed? Mr...?” sahut Arlo with a condescending smile.

“Vion. Sorry, introduce. I'm Vion Harald, Queen Alice's special flyer and her loyal friend, Daneil. So it's all true? Do you know what? No human or any mixed being will survive here more than a day. So no need to lie, who exactly are you?” ask him again who does not believe.

Without giving any more answers, Arlo ran towards the man with an annoyed face. Without a cue, his scythe had already floated right beside the man as the distance between them grew closer. The point where the two faced each other was when the two weapons each collided with each other to splash fire around him.

A big smile on Vion's lips impressed satisfied with the opponent he faced. But not for long, the smile was replaced by her grimacing lips by bluffing her teeth as her sword began to crack as it was not strong piercing with Arlo's scythe. Seen from anywhere, Arlo's scythe was not a tupule weapon made of metal or the like. Their strength was already greatly compared to each other.

“Cih!” snapping Vion as his sword was already smashed into pieces in front of his face.

He immediately retreated and kept his distance from each other before anything happened in his body. Without giving any chance to the opponent, Arlo darted with his scythe directly towards Vion. For the second time, they faced each other. However something made Arlo quite surprised by something holding back his scythe.

A scythe equal to the bright red hue and the black barrel that crossed, managed to precisely stop his attack, even slightly giving him a backward blow.

“Wah, too much facial expression. I guess this is just a coincidence, no need to think about.” Said Vion who unhesitatingly slashed his scythe back towards Arlo.

“Cih!” Arlo was bluffing his teeth.

In the other two men, slowly they continued to corner the blood-soaked existence of Leo by the river. The river current is so swift forcing itself not to get too close, but it is what makes it increasingly cornered between large rocks. The two men had already drawn each of his innate weapons and prepared to fight back.

Without them noticing, suddenly water vapor came out from behind the gravel rocks they stepped on. The gravel slowly shook and burned the heat out. Not long after, a blaze gushed along with the pebbles and rained down on the two of them.

“Awas! He's going to escape!” one of them shouted as Leo was about to climb one of the big rocks behind him.

“Patch yourself well, dah..” Knock the boy as he is about to jump away from the rocks.

As he turned around, something blew the air tight and stood another man with black horns towering between his long hair, looking at the boy with a heavy smile. Suddenly Leo stood on the spot without the slightest twitch as his short hair was pulled until he glared in pain. The man standing right in front of him was a person he had been very familiar with ever since the appearance of himself.

“Daniel!”

“Where are you going? comehere! And don't run away again, you troublesome base!” said the man by pulling and carrying the child's small body.

He darted past the other three men below, until something caught his attention. He stopped on top of a tree branch by staring at the figure of the man Vion was facing.

“Vion, back. You're no match.” Turn the man away from the spot and disappear from the thick trees.

“Oh, really?” Vion darted back with the other two men beside him into the forest and just vanished.

Without being able to do anything, Arlo just fell silent on the spot by putting on an annoyed face the place where they went.
