Trace 17 - Secrets.

People thought that Arlo remained in his room and rested, but when Eri's father came to visit Arlo's room. The food that was previously still warm on the table, was cold and untouched.

“Eri! where's Arlo, I thought you were with him and fed him!” eri's father shouted inside Arlo's room in surprise.

“But how? I just left him for a second. Did he go after Ferdi and Sina?” eri answered as she ran towards Arlo's room.

In this condition, even though Arlo was only lightly injured, his body was still weak due to lack of energy. The two of them immediately search for Arlo's whereabouts that he went, but Eri has a conjecture with Ferdi and also Sina who was with him.

On the other side..

“How is the condition? Is it still severe after a few minor treatments?” a man crouched near Ferdi's still-dying body.

“She's worse, but she's better. I think he will realize faster” replied the man next to Sina lying on a mattress that only with thin wood.

Arlo just leaned against the wall and closed his eyes hoping that his two friends would come to their senses quickly. Because of his delay they must first suffer according to him. Inside Arlo's mind was still mixed with the magic he had just used. I don't know what to use from magic.

Then after a while Ferdi began to roar and began to force to wake up full of bandages on his body. The injuries were severe enough to make him unable to move even a bit and forget about his desire to wake up. While on the other hand Sina was still unconscious even though the wound was not too severe.

Arlo just laughed a little at Ferdi who was so weak as usual who was very chatty, the two strangers explained who they were to Arlo clearly, sneaking, and Arlo also nodded in understanding what it meant just that he was a little disappointed in the two of them and scolded them a little. Amidst that serious talk, Arlo suddenly fell silent and began to sit next to Ferdi lying down. From the outside, there were very quick footsteps.

“Heeii Arrloo!!” from behind an incredible slap floated right on Arlo's cheek as he was turning around.

A person who is easily recognized by Arlo and does not look happy. While Arlo just looked down afraid of the person in front of him.

“How usual?!. I was missed by a brandal creature like you, ARLO!!” Eri's face was so red with overflowing anger.

“Quiet Miss, I can explain all this. So get started first!” jawap Arlo was a little scared by Eri's horrible gaze.

Arlo explains everything that happened to Eri patiently. Maybe because he himself was also afraid of Eri. While Father Eri who was just observing in front of the door just nodded and went to look around.

“Arlo do you know them?” asked Eri's father to point at the two people leaning against the wall, then greet Eri's father.

“They said they were Ferdi and Sina's friends from one team. Then they came when I just killed the troublemaker and helped us three” explained Arlo.

Eri's father approached the two of them and asked something in a soft voice so that Arlo and the others could not hear him.

“so so..’’ close Eri's father then go leave them all without visiting or questioning the condition of both friends Arlo.

Arlo is just confused without being able to stop Mr. Harto and question him. Behind her Eri walks with a little bit of anger left and leaves Arlo with them to meet without saying a word .After a while, Ferdi's two friends said goodbye to return and give a report.

“Are you guys not very accrued with your own group of friends?” tanya Arlo walked over to the two who were still lying on the bed.

“Not really, all troops are like that. We also don't care much about them because they rarely work together. Then where is Miss Eri?, should she also come?”

Arlo left Ferdi after he really started to improve. While Sina was also smirking with an inevitable sweet smile.

Arlo walked slowly to something a bit far away. As he was getting close to his goal, a girl sat down in sorrow. The place was like it was getting worse. The lake that was exposed to the reflection of sunlight at dusk began to come.

Arlo immediately approached the girl and sat down next to her. His face seemed to be alarmed by the crying person next to him and began to embrace his shoulder, then leaned his head against Arlo's shoulder.

“So Miss is worried about the future.?”

The smile was back in time and made new happiness. Eri returns home and leaves Arlo alone there because Arlo asked for it. For a while Arlo was still sitting there casually, he seemed to be waiting for someone while observing around.

The day was dark and reduced the visibility Arlo was observing around. Suddenly a man very quickly thrust a knife with poison that began to cook into Arlo's body.

His stab hit Arlo's straight back with his heart in position. That should be enough to knock down Arlo and kill him easily.

“Meet you again, I've been waiting since here young man.”

“i know if you know where I am. It turns out that being an assassin alone is not enough to kill a demon like you”

The man who pierced Arlo smiled widely on his lips full of confidence. But the smile on his lips was only momentary and turned into droplets of blood that came out from within his mouth.

A dagger pierced right from his back into his heart. Arlo retracted it slowly and left the man lying there. The man remained unconscious for a moment and looked at Arlo with a faint smile until he died there.
