The Journey of Eternity

The Journey of Eternity
Trace 50 - Split.

In a vast plain, a man stood staring at the horizon at the end of the ocean. Where the sun hidden behind the clouds, began to manifest itself with its only faint light. With an incomplete part of his body, the man smiled then jumped into the abyss that was in front of him and simply vanished.

Instantly, the plains shook like there was an earthquake, breaking off the cliff and sinking into the ocean. A glimmer of red light embedded behind the cliff, shone for a moment and closed back from behind the shady trees. Leaving behind a swarm of grass and dense trees blocking the light.

...(----------------)...

In a fairly rough wooden house, Arlo had to be sealed and introgated by its inhabitants. His very familiar face, made him startled and increasingly distrustful of the sentence he had just spoken. The man opened his eyes again and glanced towards the girl standing together to the five people hanging unconscious beside him.

“Trisia, free them,”

“But.. good.” Forcibly, the girl roughly cut off every rope that hung them. Aware of being hit on the floor, they woke up by supporting his aching head.

Arlo shot straight towards them and was the only one that mattered the most.

“Nona, are you okay?” arlo said with an anxious face, tightly holding onto the girl's shoulder.

“I don't matter.” Answer with a sweet smile.

The four pairs of eyes that glanced towards them, looking not too happy with the unpleasant sight. Suddenly the girl approached and stared intently at all of them.

“Build Cheap! Take it to your four friends to move into the next room. I want to talk to this guy,” finished his sentence, the girl glanced at Arlo.

“Can't you stop calling him that! Who are you calling!” snarled Sina, got up from his seat and stared intently at the girl.

“Why? Any problems?” answer the girl lightly, no matter.

“Ya, already. Come on, Sina, let's follow the sentence. Not knowing what bad thing he would do again, right.” whispered Ferdi right beside Sina's ear by grasping his shoulder and pushing it out from behind him.

With a worried face, Eri glanced again at Arlo and returned a smile to calm his heart. I don't know what they'll do there.

“Just calm Miss, I'll be fine.” Arlo's warm smile hopes to calm the girl down.

With great coercion, the five of them left Arlo again and sat in a circle in the next room. For a while, the curious Ferdi attempted to eavesdrop. But suddenly her wooden wall trembled and rang very loudly from inside right next to her ear attached, a sign the girl noticed.

"Stop doing silly things, Ferdi...." Bela said, it felt piercing.

Until in the end, the girl came out first with a sour face and looked down. Feeling heavy, he turned towards the five of them with his cynical gaze.

“Nothing is free when to stay here,” he said he wanted to turn around.

“Good, after our master is restored, we will leave immediately,” said Khira while getting up from his seat.

“Your master won't be returned once the task is done, keep that in mind!” the girl walked out of the room.

Sighing, Khira walked up to the door and was about to open the door. But before he could hold his handle, the door was opened from the inside with Arlo smiling at him.

“You are really impatient, yes,” chirps Arlo, smiling towards Khira.

“Ma-Sorry Mr. Arlo. It's just, I feel worried.”

Arlo patted the man on the shoulder, walking towards the others with a serious look. The faces that were sitting quietly below him, all put on the look of asking the man.

“Before, I'm sorry for all of you. This time, this time, yes... I'll go alone,” said Arlo, surprising everyone.

“But...” said Eri by putting on his anxious face, but was held by Arlo's hand that was lifted to block, gesturing.

“Sorry, but it's better to break that puzzle. It's not really a puzzle, it's a prophecy. There is a sentence that includes ‘a brave knight sacrificed himself, right?” Arlo slowly glanced at Khira without anyone knowing there.

They did not dare to resist, as this was also part of a direct order. While Eri who is just silent, looks to think with still put on an anxious face. A moment later, Verles walked out the next door and approached towards Khira. Stretching out something that was in his grasp, in the form of a small pouch made of leather.

“For now, take care and protect yourself. Miss with green eyes it would be very happy if you did it right, this is also a plea from your master,” Verles turned towards Arlo who just looked down miserably.

“Good, I will work wholeheartedly as a knight. Heh!” khira's eyes opened wide, surprised to realize something.

Slowly, Arlo explains the true events with a little help from Verles. Believe it or not, Verles explains that it is true that no energy is active on the island, especially the cracks. But they were all still insistent until Arlo finally confirmed it.

“But what about the incoming demon-devil colony?”

“It's not clear yet, but at least we'll get the gem soon. Before the bad things stored here overflow and hunt everywhere.” Clarify Verles, get out of there.

Arlo walked up to the four of them and looked at him with a look full of anxiety and guilt. Then he heavily extended his hand to Eri, for the sun had risen and it was time to depart. After all, the two of them would be escorted directly by Trisia to go to the island.

“It's time, let's go.” Firmly Trisia, standing in front of the door with a firm grasp of her spear.

...(----------------)...

Vague sunlight from the east, leading Arlo's way with the two girls who were with him. Led by Trisia in front, they walked straight west to a cliff that separated the plain from the sea there. Stop right at the edge of that cliff and stare at the horizon at the end of the ocean.

“Although not visible at this time, but there will be an island that extends to the north not far from here. You can just cross straight, and get there,” make Trisia clear by pointing towards the ocean, putting a serious look towards the two of them.

“Is there any way to cross? It seems very impossible,” said Eri, staring back at him.

“Ask the man next to you, should he be able to use magic, right?” said the girl in a shitty tone.

“Hah... I cannot, every time I use, always explode and shatter into pieces.” Reply Arlo sighed.

The girl smiled arrogantly and stepped right towards the cliff and out of it. In general, he should have fallen without a foothold at his feet, but in fact he was hovering just above the cliff-edge. Of course, the two of them were immediately surprised to see her and made the girl laugh.

“Listen Mr. Arlo, your problem is just energy. The magic you unleashed directly from the energy within your body is indeed very little because your strength is very minimal. But for an ocean this big, what is the need to take out a drop of water. Grab this ocean and make it a foothold, Young Man.” Ledek the girl, let go of the brand both.

Arlo only sighed and approached towards the abyss, but it seemed like he was also afraid of heights. His head immediately felt swirling when he looked down at the cliff, until Eri patted his back.

“Because, you are what good?” said Eri, with a resigned tone.

“Sorry-sorry, this might indeed be a little troublesome..”.

“Because it's quick to learn, Son of a Pain!” a loud voice came from behind, revealing Trisia who was already holding something in her hand and eating it a.

Again Arlo could only sigh. Patience, he was indeed no match, Arlo's mind stroked his chest. He approached again towards the cliff and looked at the ocean, raising his hand as if controlling the sea water. Sure enough, the water lifted up like a wave and headed towards Arlo as he did.

“Kan, easy? Don't dawdle. Later they wait loo, hahaha.” The girl laughed, her hands pounding the air.

Instantly the water at the top froze because of the wind that passed through it. Shaped like a wide board as a foothold. Already, without a second thought, Arlo walked up and boarded the frozen board with Eri holding his robe. Immediately shot into the open ocean.

“You've changed a little these days, miss. Is there a problem that bothers your mind?” chirp Arlo's on his way.

“Do you think so? I'm just a little confused as to who I really am. Sometimes I'm cheerful, but sometimes I'm a little moody and don't talk much. What do you think?”

“Once again, maybe because we're too busy. Or maybe you are confused yourself, Miss.”

"But being yourself is hard sometimes."
