A girl ran down the hallway of the classroom, to approach Arlo who had not heard her call. Deliberately, the girl hit him from behind and scratched Arlo's head.
“What do you want?” Arlo looked heavy with a cynical look.
“Ee, ahaha. Do you have a minute?” the girl grinned while scratching her fist.
“No, I'm busy.” No smiles or greetings.
Arlo immediately turned around and continued his steps to go home, whereas the girl could only bow down miserably.
In the castle where he lives, Arlo is always alone, whatever it is. Both parents feel like they are restricted to taking care of their own children. Because his family and relatives hate him so much. He just reads books, writes and walks around talking to himself. But all of that is just empty talk of others.
Arlo is often seen walking on the edge of the castle lined with shady and cool trees.
“Do you know anything about girls yesterday?” chirps Arlo glanced back at him, as if a figure was walking behind him.
“There is a hidden intention Sir, but he will not go any further,” a woman trailed by hovering behind Arlo and smiling at him.
“If you go any further, just kill it!”
“As your wish, Mr.”
In the afternoon when returning home from school in a dark cloudy condition, a girl leaned against the edge of the school gate while daydreaming about something. Arlo from a distance found the same girl who had met him yesterday, turned around immediately and looked for a detour successfully through the back road. He thought he had managed to avoid the girl, but in fact the girl was already standing and smiling right in front of him.
“Hai, do you have time today?” the girl smiled sweetly in front of Arlo.
“No, I'm busy again,” replied in a cynical tone, closing her eyes.
He tried to refrain from being affected by that smile.
His steps suddenly felt heavy because his hands were held just like that. Because of that he immediately turned around, pushed and patted the girl on the wall, looking at her sharply with a gripping threat.
“Listen Miss, I don't know who you are. But I didn't hesitate to hurt or even kill you. So, this is the last warning, if you ever meet me and bother me again. Hope there won't be a war between kingdoms.” Close Arlo in an annoyed tone and continue his steps.
The girl immediately limp and collapsed slowly, sitting leaning against the wall.
“Daddy, is it true that it is him?” he murmured softly, followed by tears dripping past his cheeks.
At another time, Arlo was sitting in front of the fireplace, trying to eliminate the cold temperature in his body. Because now outside is drizzling often and now it is actually still dawn.
“Master, don't you want to go out?” whispered a red woman behind him.
“But this, it's raining,” it's lazy.
“What are you sure?”
“Alright, I'll be out.” With forced Arlo raised his body that was still trembling because of the cold, cupped his hood. He turned his head to look for an umbrella near the exit and wore it to cover it from the rain.
Following the woman, Arlo walked out of the castle and went somewhere he was going, because he was just following his walking legs. From a distance, he saw a familiar girl standing with a package in her hand in front of the unguarded castle gate. His body was soaking wet from the rain, still standing there and waiting for someone with hope.
“Khehh! Now what else, even just yesterday I warned.” Frightened Arlo, walking near the gate.
He stared intently at the girl with an extremely annoyed look, hoping that she would leave here. The girl replied with a smile.
“Prince, please allow me to enter,” he whispered softly, in a limp state.
Arlo immediately opened the gate violently and patted the girl on the wall of the gate. His hands were already very itchy, clutching firmly on the girl's neck until she had trouble breathing.
“I-this... I brought you.. something... for you, please.. accept it....” The girl held out the package to Arlo, along with tears.
Arlo grew increasingly upset and brushed the package from the girl's hand until it was thrown far enough away. Similarly, the girl was also pushed to fall in front of him. He dragged his completely limp body, approaching the package that was on the edge of Arlo earlier. Until, he forced to stand up and again extended it to Arlo.
“Please, accept... it....” The girl smiled weakly, her eyes already seemed to describe that her body was no longer strong.
He fell on Arlo's breast lap, which was only silent and his eyes did not blink for a moment. While subconsciously, he continued to hold the girl's body down from her chest, with both hands.
“Liya, do you also know all this?”
“Of course, Mr.”
In a dark room only in the fireplace, Arlo sat in a small chair eating something in his hand and threw it into the fireplace. Behind him was a sofa bedded by the same girl before with a warm blanket on it. Arlo just kept daydreaming, looking at the fireplace in front of him.
“It's better? Then go quickly,” said Arlo while still eating something in his hand.
“Sure, I'll excuse you first.” The girl smiled and got up from her seat, stepping slowly away.
He glanced at a parcel that was the same as the one he was carrying, lying near Arlo. He subconsciously smiled and turned around continuing his limped steps.
“Wait!”
“Hmm?”
“Thank you, for the food..” Said Arlo still not looking.
“Of course, Prince.” The girl's face suddenly blushed and immediately ran out.
Another time, the girl was standing on the edge of the school fence when the school hours had ended. The same thing as before, the girl waited for Arlo to pass by and talk to him. Until the time he had been waiting for was over, Arlo walked over from a distance and just ducked past the girl just like that.
But he came to a halt as his hand reached from behind and forced himself to turn around. Again the girl smiled sweetly at Arlo, this time Arlo did not close his eyes and looked at the girl in front of him, revealing a red mark on the girl's neck. Arlo looked down and closed his eyes.
“Prince, do you have a minute?” chirp the girl, still holding Arlo's hand.
“You what?” the answer was heavy, and he remained down.
“We talk to you for a minute.”
Forced to feel guilty, Arlo follows where the girl goes. They walked out of the school area and went into the forest. Until the last time Arlo remembered himself, the wounds healed themselves seven years ago.
“Why did you bring me here,” chirps Arlo stop their steps.
“I just wanted to ask you, are you really the Prince of Blood? just as many people said,” the girl started staring seriously.
Arlo flinched and remained silent for a moment, looking at the girl and smiling resignedly.
“Ohh... ahahaha.. hahaha, apparently a royal spy,” Arlo laughed, laughing loosely like a madman.
“I feel sorry for myself, indeed there are people or demons who receive mixed blood.
If that's all you're asking for, the pay is your life! Hmm?” Arlo smiled, a terrible smile like a demon.
Something slowly evaporated and formed a red scythe in front of Arlo. The same scythe with two red-hot blades. Grabbed by him and ready to chop off the girl's head.
“That's right, I'm the prince of blood. I killed twenty filthy men with his sins and beheaded them exactly as I will do to you.” Arlo swung his scythe towards the girl, until time slowed down.
Dad, am I going to fail? This death of mine, is not the same as you say. Is my life not enough to stop someone from killing and fill the emptiness of his heart?. The girl's inner voice was ringing in Arlo's head and he instantly pulled back his scythe.
“Ohh, again.. alright, I will turn myself in. May you be happy with your father, to get there I will definitely be sentenced to death, right?” Arlo pulls back his scythe and turns to leave the girl.
“And one more Miss, don't sacrifice yourself to save this disgusting mixed blood. Dahh, goodbye.” Arlo smiled and waved his hand.
Unknowingly, tears flowed down her cheeks. Suddenly it was as if the surroundings had turned white instantly. The glare blurred the girl's view of Arlo. Slowly, Arlo began to be invisible because of the glare from the white light.
“Lho, Prince? Prince…? Prince!” the girl was crying out loud, with tears flowing down.
“Cih! What exactly do you want!” the sound shook around, the dazzling white light slowly disappeared and changed with Arlo standing in front of him.
The girl immediately jumped towards Arlo and they both fell down with Arlo downstairs. His face looked gloomy with tears that kept dripping down Arlo.
“I want you! I want you! Prince,”
“But, your task will be ga-”
“I don't care! I can be with you, I don't care! Whatever it is.
What if I go with you? I'll die with you, because there's no purpose, right?" his lips smiled.
“So?” the scythe floated above the two of them, preparing to cut the two necks.
In a single slash, the two of them would definitely die together. Since the girl had no place to stay, her father's duties were no longer concerned. While Arlo himself also hopes to die after the wound in his heart has healed.
“Goodbye...”.
