The Fifth Dimension's
Nax'il

Before leaving, Laudi briefly remembered the sound of screaming at the end of the room. The scream that woke Corux and made him have to fight life and death. Laudi was convinced that it was a human scream. There was no harm in trying to check for a while before the entire hotel building was burned down.

Laudi returned down the lobby to a small glass-lined room at the end. He recognized it as a children's reservation office under the Front Office Department. Laudi finally arrived at the door of the small room. He tried to push the glass door, but it was locked.

The girl knocked several times. There's no answer. Even as he looked inside, Laudi could not find anyone. Even so, he was sure that he had heard a scream from that place. So with the rest of his energy, Laudi also called out a hammer from the electrical portal that appeared on the left of his body.

A medium-sized hammer he managed to remove from the electrical portal. With a strong Laudi grasping the hammer then he began to pukulkan towards the glass door. Scorching sounds of fear were heard from inside the room, followed by miserable moans and roars.

Laudi again hit his hammer several times, without regard for the people who were crying inside. At the fifth blow, the glass door was broken. Laudi stepped in and found three women cowering in fear under the table.

“Bu Dista?” laudi asked while observing two other people who were Mega and Vanya.

The three men looked back at Laudi. They looked frightened and very chaotic.

“La, Laudi. You're actually Laudi, right?” moaning Bu Dista who was curling up was trembling. Tears drenched the woman's entire face, making her mask fade. Bu Dista looked like a ghost who was shedding black tears.

“Mega and Vanya are also here? You guys survived?” laudi continued while kneeling next to the table. He no longer felt the need to call them with respect like before. Circumstances change. Neither Vanya nor Mega was just an ordinary human being who could no longer trample on him.

“Ka, you too survived, Laudi? Ta, but this place can't accept anyone else anymore. Our food is running low and the water is running out too. Sorry, you have to go. Otherwise, you might end up fateing like that person,” said Mega while nodding towards the corner of the room covered by a long table.

Laudi walked in the direction that Mega was aiming for. The girl was even more surprised to see the scene in front of her. A young man fell unconscious in the corner of the room. His head was bleeding, like a blunt force punch. Laudi knelt down to see the man's condition. Still breathing. The young man was clearly still alive.

For a moment, upon touching the body of the fainted young man, Laudi suddenly felt very familiar. Just a split second away, Laudi felt that the young man was a part of him. The girl looked at the young man more closely. He clearly didn't know the guy. From the clothes he was wearing, the young man seemed to be one of the hotel guests staying over.

His face was foreign and Laudi was convinced that the first time he saw the man. Even so, inexplicably Laudi could feel the energy he was very familiar with, emerging from the dark-haired young man with the white skin. He touched the young man's body again.

During those few meaningful seconds, Laudi finally knew who the young man he touched was. Nax’il. It was the name of the young man in his previous life, when he and Laudi became part of the Maldek nation. That person is one of those souls who is crying out, but does not seem to be resurrected yet.

After gaining that understanding, Laudi also regained consciousness from his trance state. He then turned to look at Bu Dista and two other people who were still cowering in fear under the table.

“You hit this guy?” laudi asked in an angry tone.

“Di, he first carelessly take our food rations,” sergeant Vanya do not accept.

Had Laudi not known the three men, he would have believed those words. A young man who snatched food from three helpless women. That sounds reasonable. However, Laudi already knows how the habits of three former colleagues. Obviously they must have put up a scenario to subvert a foreign man who reduced food rations in the emergency evacuation.

“If you don't want to end up like him, let you go now, Laudi. We know this is a dangerous situation. But, sorry, we also have to survive.” Miss Dista suddenly got her courage, then came out of hiding and stood up to challenge Laudi.

Laudi only snorted a little while holding an amused laugh. People are not easy to change. Especially if you are in a desperate position. His true nature became increasingly visible.

“Please, I will not stay here. Soon the hotel was also the most burnt out. I was just checking earlier, and because you guys seemed fine, so I can go quietly,” said Laudi relaxed. “Oya, this guy I brought ya. Than to trouble you. You can be killers,” he continued while lifting the fainted body of the foreign youth.

With deftness Laudi carried the young man to his back, then began to stand. He was a little tired because his strength was drained. But Laudi refused to give up. He still has to get this guy out of there.

On the other hand, Miss Dista, Vanya and Mega are beginning to notice a fire out there. The three of them began to panic and scramble to pack snacks stored in the cabinet. Laudi just shook his head while lightly clucking watching the incident. He left while carrying the young man's body out.

The fire spread to the room area. Laudi could confirm that the emergency staircase containing the shoots of the monster seedlings would also be burned. The girl sighed in relief. At least he did not need to kill those who were victims with his own hands.

The lobby exit is in plain sight. Fortunately, the fire had not spread to the front. Laudi tried to open the door and exit the building to drop off the area which was also decorated with flower gardens and fountains. There's no one out there. Quiet and quiet conditions. Laudi glanced back, watching the magnificent hotel where he worked begin to burn down. From now on, his life will not be the same as before.
