The horrifying sight again greeted Laudi in the Hotel Lobby. The place no longer looked as aesthetically pleasing as before. Instead of other more disgusting organisms, it seems to have taken control of the entire lobby.
The walls and ceiling of the ten-meter-tall Lobby were filled with thin tissues that resembled spider webs. The strands were crossed and resembled thin threads that were barely visible, if only they were not this much. Talia cut through the sticky tissues to open the way. He then sighed heavily when he looked at the reception desk, now growing a kind of large squirming object that was red like raw meat.
The height of the object was approximately five meters, towering like a large tower waving as if buffeted by a breeze. The top of the tower features a kind of giant human face with eyes closed and mouth tightly clenched.
Laudi had to be very careful going through those thread networks. He did not want to wake up the great creature he knew named Corux. The creature is a master network, which gave birth to headless monsters – Molden – including also responsible for membrane membranes in the emergency staircase area. Corux's ultimate goal is to convert the human body in order to be reborn into a Drakonian race monster.
It was not easy to fight against such a giant monster mother. And now, it seems that the Corux is asleep. As much as possible Laudi did not want to wake her. Even if he had fought Corux in the past, but at that time he was not alone. He was assisted by several other colleagues in one team, and more than that, Laudi was in maximum strength.
Now, Laudis had yet to fully awaken his power. His memory was awakened. But his human body was not used to fighting yet. His stamina and energy could be quickly drained.
Even so, Laudi still had to try to get out of the place, and the only exit was to pass through the Lobby area. It was the fastest road he could take right now.
So, while settling down, Laudi continued his journey without making much noise. Several times he had to swat his dagger to open the way of the complicated network that came out of the body of the organism. But the sound of his dagger was as calm as the sound of his steps walking slowly.
Laudi was halfway through the lobby when suddenly a loud scream was heard across the room. Suddenly the girl gasped and was immediately alert as she turned towards Corux who was towering above her head. Sure enough, the sound of the scream apparently managed to wake the Corux from his deep sleep.
The Corux's eyes were immediately wide open, featuring an eyeball that was entirely jet black, with no white sides at all. The Corux immediately stared nyalang in all directions, looking so angry because his sleep was disturbed.
For a while, Laudi's body froze. He stopped moving, simply so that the Corux was unaware of his existence. Honey, that strategy failed. In just a few seconds, the giant creature managed to find Laudi who was already standing rigidly below him.
Angrily, the Corux immediately roared violently and pulled out white thread tissues from his mouth towards Laudi's body. The girl twitched nimbly, successfully dodging Corux's first attack. But the monster did not stop there. He again spewed an extraordinarily complicated thread network towards Laudi.
Minutes passed and Laudi's fight against Corux continued. Even so, Laudi had absolutely no chance to strike back, considering his weapon was only two small dagger blades. While the Corux kept spewing out a network of threads, Laudis could only jump back and forth to dodge.
Laudi's worries finally occurred as well. His energy is not as big as when he was a fighter first. Laudi was soon exhausted and out of stamina. Gasping for breath, Laudi sensed that his speed was beginning to decline.
But the time is too narrow. The power of the Laudi was not enough to summon a great weapon. The electrical portal began to be unstable and moved open and close without being controlled. While trying to do that, Corux's ultimate attack finally succeeded in hitting Laudi.
The girl was so tightly entangled by the Corux thread network that she could not move. Its electrical portal was forced to close again as Laudi's concentration split. His body was now raised high, moving due to the winding of the thread network from Corux.
Talia was already right in front of Corux's face, tightly bound on both his hands and feet. He tried to rebel, but the thread network bond was already too strong. The corux looked at Laudi like he was looking at an insect. His black eyes looked so intimidating.
In the next instant, the giant creature began to slowly open its mouth. Laudi held his breath knowing what the monster mother would do. The Corux is about to launch his deadliest attack yet: the breath of poisonous gas. Once Laudi inhaled the gas, it was certain that his organs would melt inside. He must be dead!
Laudi certainly could not let that happen. He must stay alive and save the planet! he did not want something similar to happen on Earth. For this reason Laudi is here now, born as a human race to protect the Earth from Drakonian threats. He had just been resurrected, and it was unpleasant that he died instantly again.
So with the strength of his determination, Laudi also re-emerged the electrical portal before him. He summoned a missile launcher to smash the head of the sickening creature. The choice is only two: he must succeed or die.
All the cells in Laudi's body are aware of this fact. He doesn't want to die! That high survival instinct finally managed to bring up the enlarged electrical portal bit by bit. Laudi continued to force himself beyond the limit. He really has to succeed. He doesn't want to die now.
Laudi groaned loudly because his reckless actions now made his head start pulsating. A powerful migraine attacked Laudi's head, leaving the girl unable to open her eyes in pain. Even so Laudi continued to force himself to summon missile launchers.
The Corux had already started breathing out a dense green poisonous gas. Laudi has no time! He's gotta blow that fucking head off. His body was so exhausted, he almost fainted. In the final seconds of his consciousness, the electrical portal before Laudi was finally at an enormous size. He knew through his instinct that a missile was ready to be launched from inside the portal. It's time.
Laudi shouted loudly as he ordered the missile to be fired from inside the portal. Suddenly, a two-meter-long guided missile flew in front of his face, pointing directly at the Corux's face. The collision of the missile with the monster's face produced a violent explosion followed by a huge flame. The fire spread quickly because the thread tissues that filled the place were highly flammable.
Laudi's body was immediately knocked down after the thread that binds it also burned and loosened. Now he was standing in the middle of a sea of fire that engulfed the entire building quickly.
The sweat soaked Laudi's body, mixing with the sticky substance that stuck to his body. Laudi would bet that the smell could now kill someone. He almost fainted, but tried to stand up. Laudi has to get out of that place.
