Last Battle

While piloting his fighter, Laudi then re-opened the dimensional portal outside. A huge blue electric portal. It did not take long for Laudi to open the gigantis portal. With his maximum strength, Laudi could create a gigantic portal without any difficulty.

A few seconds later, from behind the Laudi portal, another fighter aircraft with automatic control shot up. About a dozen jet planes shaped like the tip of a roaring arrow fly over the sky of the island of Sumbawa.

Before Leo's entourage got there, Laudi had already started fighting. He controlled his plane while shooting at the monsters down there. The giant Corux-Corux, aware of the arrival of the Laudi army, went on a rampage. They spewed waves of flames on the flying plane.

Some of Laudi's automatic warplanes were charred in flames and plunged into a dive to explode smelling the ground. Yet most still continued to shoot at the monsters blindly. Laudi himself made many maneuvers to avoid the Corux attack, while killing as many wandering Molden as possible. The battle arena became so boisterous with the sounds of the shots and roars of the monsters.

"I can't take it anymore" muttered Dipa who was sitting behind the control chair. Laudi hurriedly grabbed the vomit pouch he took out of the portal and threw it at DIPa. The young man finally pulled out all his entrails, either due to the opposite energy pressure or simply drunkenness of the vehicle. The Laudi maneuver was a bit brutal.

"Are you okay?" tanya Rendra turned to look at Jo who was also pale.

"Can I hold on," whispered Jo slowly.

Shortly after the air battle, Leo's entourage emerged from the back of Laudi's plane. In the distance, Laudi saw four other comrades already jumping down from Caladrius' back and storming the battlefield. Patchouli with his entire metal-plated body as well as a pair of great swords, instantly cut off the head of Corux that was before him. Leo called all his beasts from the portal.

Basil the giant serpent annexed most of the surviving Molden, while other animals brutally attacked the rest of the monsters. Nathan and Kara appear through the portal. The two team up to freeze the monsters' movements and send them to the high seas. Water is the weakness of the monsters.

The fight continued as if there was no end to it. Laudi began to run out of time while his warplanes had been reduced a lot. His comrades down there looked injured. An hour had passed, and Laudi could only hope that the eight of them could survive.

"I'm going down" Dipa chirped later. "Kara and the others must need my help" he continued in a raucous voice.

"Are you sure you want to get out of here like that?" ask Rendra worriedly.

"It's okay. I'm drunk on the vehicle. The Laudi if the plane likes to be brutal," said Dipa.

Laudi snorted small. "The name is also war" the girl commented short.

"It's okay. I'm going downstairs too. My abilities can be better used if they are near them" Jo later said.

Finally, the two Laudi colleagues came out of the plane with the seats tossed. Jo seems to be contacting Kara by telepathy because a second later Kara's green-electric dimensional portal immediately moved the two of them to a safe place down there.

Things begin to turn around after Jo uses her abilities. The remaining Corux and Molden were confused and attacked their fellow men. Dipa also contributed greatly in healing her injured comrades down there. Leo and Nathan were the worst affected. The two of them did not have the ability to survive as well as his other comrades. Even so, Laudi was grateful that both of them could still be helped thanks to the Dipa healing portal.

Laudi decided to land his plane in the Tambora caldera after Rendra confirmed it was relatively safe. The portal shaft of the Drakonian dimension loomed high before Laudi as the girl exited the plane. Its diameter may reach a tenth of a meter, with a very bright orange twinkle. The energy of the Drakonians who were not in tune with his energy instantly gave the girl an immeasurable headache. Even so, Laudi persisted and soon came to his other colleagues.

Leo was already able to stand up despite looking deathly pale and trembling. Nathan, on the other hand, was unconscious. Dipa is still trying to cure the teenager with great difficulty. Dipa's energy must also be very limited with the current conditions.

"Where is Nathan?" laudi asked who was struggling to meet his colleagues who were clustered at the center of the caldera.

"It's still alive, but he's been hit by Corux's poison gas attack" Kara explained. "Dipa is still trying to neutralize the poison" the girl continued.

"The energy is stable. He'll be conscious in a moment" commented Rendra who could feel the pulse of Nathan's life.

As soon as Rendra finished talking, Nathan suddenly coughed and regained consciousness. Laudi let out a sigh of relief to see his colleague make it through the critical period. Dipa also cheered cheerfully and immediately closed the healing portal while laying down the body on the volcanic soil. Dipa's entire body was already covered in sweat, her face was pale from exhaustion.

"Nathan is sober?" A voice rippled in the crowd. Apparently Nilam who came while transforming from a metal body into an ordinary human body.

"Udah. Thank goodness we all survived" Laudi replied, kneeling near Nathan, helping the teenager sit up and breathe.

"It's over, is it?" nathan asked innocently, while still grimacing in pain.

"Udah. Safe," said Leo who also sat on the ground.

"OKAY. Our time is narrow. We have to close the shaft of this dimension immediately" Laudi said as he cast his gaze toward the giant orange glow that soared through the sky.

Everyone was silent at Laudi's orders. Without guessing, they already understood what Laudi meant about the narrow time. Most of the group chose to unseal their strength, which meant that they would die soon after thirty minutes had passed.

"Before, I wanted to thank you all. We have only met in this life for a moment. Our souls have known each other for a long time. Thank you for fighting together again. We are facing a lot of suffering and loss, not just now, but since Maldek.

"Thank you for fighting. Thank you also for holding out until now. After all this is over, maybe not all of us can continue to live on Earth. Even so, I promise I will always recognize you if we meet either in any other life, or in any other galaxy. Until then, let's go on the adventure of our respective souls well" Laudi concluded by saying goodbye to colleagues he had only met in recent days.

Everyone was silent for a moment. Kara looked teary and almost cried. They all knew it was a farewell. Not all of them will survive. Even so, their souls would never die.
