Mission Completed

Laudi arranged for his companions to form an octagon formation surrounding the portal shaft of the Draconian dimension. They stood a distance of several meters while carrying their respective stones. Memory crystals work to store the energy memories of a specified soul. By reversing the ability, the Crystal will work to remove energy. That is what Laudi will use to remove the portal belonging to the Drakonians.

By removing all Drakonian energy from the entire face of the Earth, their invasion could be thwarted. The Earth will also be shielded for a while due to the surrounding Crystal energy. The way to reverse the memory crystal's ability is to channel the Maldekian portal energy of Laudi and his colleagues. Their energy resonance will collide with the Drakonian energy. That misalignment will cause a terrible collision and whichever side is stronger will win.

Unfortunately, this action will also have an impact on the Maldekians. Laudi and his other colleagues will also lose their portal ability which is also erased along with the reversal of the memory crystals. Even so the eight people were already prepared for the risk. It was the only way to save the Earth.

And so, after everyone was in their respective positions, they began to lift up the energy crystals while opening the dimensional portal. Blue for Laudi; yellow stream belongs to Leo; green portal Kara; golden color of Dipa healer; Rendra with purple portal; Red Nilam; Nathan and his white portal; and finally Jo with a portal running black electricity.

The eight portals synergized with their rock fragments that floated into the air. The entire flow of the portal then ignites and unites into a huge energy surrounding the orange Drakonian shaft. Just as the eight crystal shards were fused at the central point of the shaft, an energy explosion ensued.

The collision of the two opposing energies produced an unusually loud pounding sound. The ground beneath Laudi's feet instantly shook violently, causing an earthquake that nearly toppled the top of Mount Tambora. Laudi and his seven companions persevered to drain the energy of their portal. The eight bodies began to drift from above the turbulent ground. Five meters, ten meters, they were all lifted due to the powerful pull of the energy of the shaft.

Laudi continued to channel all his energy into his own portal until he was not left alone. His body was getting tired and Laudi was already on the verge of losing consciousness. Even so he persisted. His breathing was suffocating as if he was in a vacuum. His entire body felt like it was burning to the inner organs. The deafening roar of sound surrounded the entire chain of events. Laudi felt dizzy. His head was like it was about to break. The energy of the eight people was not large enough to resist the Drakonian axis. They all start to suck!

Laudi groaned loudly full of emotion when he realized that their efforts might not be successful. The Drakonian portal shaft was too powerful and among the eight of them, only five people had unsealed the power. They might fail. Amidst the immeasurable pain and frustration, suddenly a voice spoke in Laudi's mind.

"I'll ask Igved to unseal my powers. Our present strength will not be enough to resist the Drakonian axis." Jo's voice echoed in everyone's mind.

"Open mine too Jo." Dipa recalls through the mind.

"I am too." Kara's voice echoed.

Jo did not reply anymore, but a moment later, the strength of the Maldekian portal grew stronger. Laudi felt a significant change after his three comrades volunteered to perish in order to unseal their power.

"Thank you, all of you," cried Laudi who could be heard at once by his seven other colleagues. When their strength had already fused, the synchronicity between the eight people was inevitable. Now they can think, move and even speak in one unit as a single unit.

Even though their portal now dominates, but their time is not much. The Drakonian portal shaft continued to shrink until it finally disappeared completely. In response to this, a massive explosion occurred. Like calm water being hit by a boulder, a fierce energy ripple instantly surged wide to encompass the entire Earth.

The bodies of Laudi and his other colleagues were thrown hard to very far. Laudi ended up slumped on a mountain slope with burns and drenched in fresh blood. He is on the verge of life and death.

"We ... succeeded .. ," the girl groaned and lost consciousness.

Laudi felt his body was very light. All the pain disappeared without a trace. The girl tried to open her eyes. He found himself in a vast desert. The place was filled with grains of sand that glittered like brownish gems. Laudi blinked a few times and tried to get up. But then he realized that he had no physical form. Only his consciousness was awake.

He focused his mind on tracing every corner of the place and looking for the other seven colleagues. One by one, he found them all. All of his colleagues also only have a waking form of consciousness.

The Igved energy was felt by Laudi's consciousness. "You succeeded. Now rest. Your journey is still long. After this, you'll be sent to another galaxy that the Drakonians are after." Not a voice, but an understanding that emerged in Laudi's consciousness. The girl understood, Igved will send them for the next mission.

"Igved. One thing I want to ask you. Is my family on Earth still alive?" laudi asked through his control of consciousness.

Laudi had a vision. He saw a waterfall high between the narrow rock cliffs. Rivers flow through the cliff with a calm flow. On the left bank of the river, several people were being evacuated by uniformed military personnel. Of the many crowds, Laudi's vision immediately saw a pair of middle-aged couples with a typical Javanese face that he was very familiar with. It was Laudi's parents. They hugged the body of a tall, bespectacled young man who was none other than his younger brother.

A sense of relief surrounded Laudi's consciousness. Apparently his entire family survived. They took refuge in a spring known to Laudi named Luweng Sampang. Now both parents may be sad about losing their daughter. However, Laudi was able to calm down because her sister was still alive. At least the three of them could now live peacefully without the Drakonian invasion on Earth.

"That's enough" Laudi said in his mind. And that vision vanished. His consciousness went back to sleep until he was awakened for the next mission.
