Laudi stood up and wiped his mouth that was hit by a little vomit. After returning to his current body, it felt like reality had hit him again. He knows that he has power, he also knows who he really is, but his nature as Laudi is deeply rooted. Even so, Laudi did not want to be weak anymore.
Laudi already knew where he was. That place is a space in the intermediate dimension. That space lies between the third dimensional consciousness, which is the world that Laudi is living in now, and the fifth dimension, where the other Laudi consciousness is.
If Laudi was in this place right now, it meant that there was something emergency going on in his consciousness right now. As the figure of Qhael, Laudi already remembered his goal of minis on earth. He was one of the slanathoir[1] sent to earth on a Maldek intervention mission. After its civilization was destroyed by the Drakons, the entire Maldekian race was scattered into various galaxies, one of which was Earth.
This intermediate dimension was the place Laudi had prepared to begin his resurrection. The victory of the Drakons in the galactic war millions of years ago made the race feel so powerful in the universe. Maldek is one of many civilizations that have been destroyed by Drakon.
Long before he died as Qhael, his entire race knew that the next target of the Drakon was Earth. Therefore he was prepared to become a human being, occupying a body that matches the planet.
Now, after living as Laudi for twenty-five years, his memory has finally been resurrected. This only leads to one conclusion: the Drakonian race has already begun to invade the earth. Laudi has to get out of here and see things out there. He was not yet sure if he could still use his former strength with this body, but there was no harm in trying.
So, with confidence, Laudi again walked towards the only exit in the room while holding his flat stone that glowed white. Laudi pushed the door slowly, and apparently it was no longer locked. A dazzling white light swept over him and made Laudi start to lose consciousness.
When he woke up again, he found himself lying on the floor of the hotel suite where he worked. Laudi groaned slowly and then stood up with difficulty. His body was weak from hunger and thirst. When she woke up, she realized that the hotel room was really messed up.
The things in the room were already scattered irregularly. Glass shards were everywhere and the window curtains were already full of tears. Laudi narrowed his eyes as he looked out the window. It was a very hot day and out there he faintly saw some burning buildings and smoke rising up the streets. The girl just snorted impatiently.
“Can-can I wake up after a situation already this chaotic,” lamented while clucking annoyed.
Laudi immediately tidied up his thoughts. Fortunately, he was not injured at all. It's just that thirst and hunger continue to plague his mind. So he tried to scavenge food in a small refrigerator that is usually provided in the suite room. The fridge is not where it should be. Laudi had to search around the room and finally found the object lying next to the bathup.
“Kok can get here,” grunts while opening the refrigerator. Luckily the snacks and drinking water in it are still intact. Laudi took some and took them back to the room. He began to eat and drink while observing outside.
The suite room is on the fifth floor of the hotel building. Coincidentally the location of the hotel is on the beach, so the dominant view is the calm sea water. Unfortunately, the building on the left-right side of the hotel was destroyed and burned. The main highway that was there also looked chaotic. Many vehicle carcasses are just stung with severe damaged conditions, dents and ringsk until it can no longer be recognized.
Not a single person was visible outside. The atmosphere was completely desolate like a dead city. Even the occasional sparrows flying over the sea were nowhere to be seen.
After being drunk and unconscious, Laudi could no longer remember anything. However, the fact that he woke up in the intermediate dimension, indicates that his physical body must have experienced the threat of danger to the point that it must be taken to that place.
“The situation has been messed up gini. It has been a few days since the invasion of Drakon. Are there still people alive?” laudi Sigh.
His phone's gone and he's not sure he can find it around here. Laudi remembered his family. What happened to them. Right now he could only hope that those he loved were fine.
After eating and drinking enough, Laudi decided to leave the room. The situation outside is as chaotic as in the room. The hotel corridor was filled with wreckage of already broken items. There are bags, shoes and so on. In some places Laudi also saw splashes of blood that had gone mongering. Laudi continued walking towards the elevator, intending to descend to the second floor. The hotel elevator is no longer working.
From behind the glass wall of the elevator, Laudi could see some of the wires had broken off, rendering it unable to function. Inevitably he also had to go down the emergency stairs. Laudi turned towards the emergency exit at the end of the corridor.
When pushing the emergency pntu, the smell of unpleasant rancid immediately out made Laudi automatically close the door again while frowning. He flicked his hand in front of his nose to drive the stench out of his sense of smell. But the scent seemed to have been fused with the air.
Laudi sizzled recklessly closing his nose. “Aish, this smell. So they incubated the people on the emergency stairs,” he murmured to himself.
Laudi snorted softly, then again strengthened his heart to open the emergency door. The scenery inside really made the girl nauseous. The entire walls and floor of the stairs were filled with clumps of organisms that resembled reddish rotting flesh. The organism is tightly glued to the entire wall and floor, to the ceiling.
That disgusting sight was still added to the sickening pungent aroma. Laudi forced himself to enter and walk through the organism-filled passageway. Holding his breath, Laudi began to walk down the dark emergency staircase and more like a gut hole full of meat.
Sticky mucus covers the entire surface of the organism. At times Laudi sees larger, pulsating clumps. From behind the thin, semi-transparent membrane in the huge lump, Laudi could see a humanoid creature curling up to its knees. It may be as large as an adult human body.
Instantly, Laudi let out a sigh of despair. He rubbed the thin membrane with his hands. It feels sticky and chewy.
“They have started to prey on humans,” sigh Laudi grimly.
