The Fifth Dimension's
Patchouly

After recovering enough power, Laudi immediately prepared to launch a giant ballistic missile. It took a few minutes for the bullet to hit the target because the missile would shoot high through the atmosphere before it finally dived and burned its entire target.

Laudi had to calculate carefully so that the time to save Irqiels was really right. If it was too fast, then those Coruxes would definitely chase after them so that the missile attack would be futile. If it's too late, Laudi could lose his comrades. The explosive effects of ballistic bullets would be so extensive that it would be dangerous for them to remain there.

Finally, the entire preparation was well thought out. Laudi was already standing within safe distance of his weapon, with Kara on standby next door. He then began the process of launching his ballistic bullets with the help of a hologram screen that shimmered in front of him.

Once Laudi successfully locked onto the target, the missile's tail immediately spouted a high-pressure flame to help the launch process penetrate Earth's amosphere. Along with a very loud roar, the rocket shot up leaving the ground. Laudi stared at the giant bullet in the air with hair fluttering due to the strong wind that appeared due to the effect of air pressure from the rocket.

After a few minutes had passed, and the rocket was barely visible, Laudi finally gave his orders to Kara. "Now, Kara!"

Without having to be told twice Kara immediately made a portal of green electricity in front of him. The next second the girl entered the portal and disappeared. Laudi kept trying to calm despite being in a very stressful situation. Seconds passed, and it felt very long. Laudi continued to observe into the distance, waiting for the arrival of Kara who had to move in the right place. Occasionally the girl also looked up into the sky, waiting for the time her rocket dived in this direction. Both should appear at the right time.

Soon enough, Kara's green portal finally appears next to Laudi. The girl also heaved a sigh of relief when she saw Kara appear while hugging another short-haired woman with a face that was already full of wounds and bruises.

"Wait on! Ehill! You're Ehill!" exclaimed the shoulder-haired girl kept trying to make sure.

"Don't now, please, Irqiels. We focus on escaping first. Laudi! Mission accomplished! Come on!" tukas Kara while running towards Caladrius.

Without saying much more, Laudi immediately followed Kara and also ran towards the giant bird owned by Leo. The girl glanced back at the sky, waiting for her missiles to slide down. The Corux now must be in confusion because their prey suddenly disappeared. Luckily, looking up, the tip of Laudi's ballistic bullet looked like a small black dot. With its hypersonic glide speed, the bullet would not take long to blow up this entire area of forest, following the three fully grown giant Coruxes.

"Let's hurry!" leo exclaimed as he stretched out his hand to help Laudi climb onto the back of Caladrius. Kara and Irqiels have been seated assisted by Dipa and Rangwe.

Once Laudi managed to sit in a comfortable position, Leo immediately told the giant bird to fly. Kaladrius traces the land and then soared high through the ends of the trees. From a distance, Laudi looked at the three Corux who started to rampage due to the loss of their prey. The three let out a terrifying roar while spouting green-colored poisonous gas from their mouths.

Caladrius flew further and further away from the site of the forest, while Laudi's Ballistic bullets were now getting closer to the ground. The sound of the storm is becoming clearer. Just when Caladrius finally managed to fly a very high and far distance, a loud explosion rang out below. Laudi could only see the rest of the explosion in the form of a gray plume of smoke that airs through the clouds.

"We succeeded! Eat the missile!" exclaimed Leo cheering with excitement.

After going through a stressful phase and successfully saving Irqiels, Laudi's entourage finally found a place that looks quite safe from Corux infection. They landed on a small island in the west of Borneo. A sign reading Simping Island stands on the beach. The island is very small, maybe only half a hectare. There are only a few trees on the island, as well as a long bridge leading to the mainland.

Laudi immediately descended from the back of Caladrius as soon as the giant bird landed. One by one his colleagues followed in silence. Everyone looks exhausted. Today they have used a lot of energy to survive. It was afternoon too. Laudi looked at the sun that was beginning to set in the open ocean.

"Let me make a bonfire. We can cook indomie. Dipa brought a lot from Java yesterday," said Leo responded.

"I helped find the wood, Le." Dipa is no less excited. It seemed that the young man was also already impatient to immediately fill his stomach.

But suddenly Rendra prevents Leo from leaving. "Let me be like Leo, who is a wood. You can recover Irqiels first," said Rendra later.

Dipa immediately turned to the short-haired girl who was wedded by Kara and Laudi. The three of them leaned Irqiels on a large tree trunk.

"Okay," said Dipa then immediately walked closer to her patient.

"For a long time no see, Irqiels," Dipa said on her knees and began to use the power of her golden portal.

"Call Nilam. That's my name now" said the short-haired girl with a small smile. His mouth and eyes were bruised and slightly bleeding. Nilam did not appear to be suffering. Instead the girl smiled with satisfaction as if proud of the injuries.

"Dipa," the young healer replied, introducing himself. He then introduced all the members of the group by their current names. Nilam recognized them as his old friends in Maldek, with different names. Now after getting acquainted with each other, Nilam seemed more relaxed to call the names of his colleagues.

"Tetep has always been the most battered among us, you are, yes" Dipa joked with a chuckle

Nilam. "His name is also a fighter, Dip. But using this human body my power is so limited. Cook against three Corux just overwhelmed. Is it because a week before I used mostly power huh? Every time I meet Corux who's still sleeping I chop them up. Begonya even immediately met three adults," said the girl who was like still in her mid-twenties, maybe around twenty-five years.

"No kidding for your strength" DIPa commented as he healed a broken part of Nilam's shin.

"How long have you been fighting those three adult Corux?" ask Laudi chiming.

Nilam seemed to think for a moment. "It looks like two days. By the way your ballistics are still amazing, Qael, uh meaning Laudi."

Laudi snorted a little and leaned his back against the tree trunk, exhausted. "But it feels like I want to die while calling the weapon" he muttered with a small laugh. His three friends laughed too. The battle was never foreign to them when they lived in Maldek. Now, however, with the absence of a capable war fleet, the six men had to fight with their extremely limited strength.
