Ballistic

The wind blew on Laudi's face. He and his four companions flew on a Caladrius. The feathers of the giant bird felt so soft and slippery. Laudi tightened his grip just so as not to slip into the open sea.

Caladrius soaring high through the clouds. Quickly the city under them also shrank and made Laudi can see a large expanse of islands bordering the sea. They continued to fly north, passing through the Java Sea. The island of Borneo is already visible ahead of there. The island is dominated by a forest area with tributaries flowing through the vast land.

Laudi looked up at the sky. Behind that atmosphere, a huge portal was gaping open, a gate made by the Drakonians to invade Earth. It was the portal that Laudi and his colleagues had to close. Their time is getting narrower. With so many Corux already awake, it means that their time is no longer long. After the incubation period of the Corux was over, a second wave of the Drakonian race would appear soon. At that time the Earth may no longer be saved.

There are three people left. Laudi hoped the three of them could still survive the onslaught of the first wave of this attack. The eighth person's portal stones had to be put together to create energy opposite to the Drakonian portals.

After rethinking the focus of the mission, for a moment Laudi can put aside his sadness after losing his family. Although in the corner of his heart it still felt empty and bitter, but the girl was already stronger now.

Laudi narrowed his eyes to see the direction of the Corux attack. From a distance, he saw a small speck of humans trying to fight the Corux with all their might. That person took out the portal several times to turn his body into metal . The metal body can survive the attacks of the Corux, whether it's a burst of fire or poisonous gas that glides from the mouths of these creatures. Occasionally the two hands of that person turned into a huge sword that managed to cut off the fingers of even Corux's wrist that attacked him. But the action was futile, because the Corux who had risen could regenerate his giant body as easily as turning the palm of the hand.

"That's Irqiels!" exclaim Kara who is also aware of the existence of humans who can turn into metal.

"Where is he how to how to? We can't just land there. Three adult Corux! We could all die!" Dipa also cried out to chimed.

Laudi thought fast. "We landed there" he said, pointing to an area not covered by the attack.

Leo complied and directed Caladrius to land at the place designated by Laudi. Place iu was not too far from the battlefield, but the Corux who were focusing on attacking at one point, were unaware of their arrival.

Laudi immediately slid down from the back of the giant white bird. He then issued his own portal which was surrounded by blue electricity.

"What are your plans?" leo asked who ran up to him.

"I'm going to wear a ballistics. Kara, can you pick up Irqiels using your portal?" laudi asked Kara.

"Yes. I can," said Kara quickly.

"Wait aba-abaku. You******Irqiels then bring it here immediately as soon as possible," the girl's order is firm.

"A minute, a minute. Are you sure you want to wear a ballistics? That is the same as destroying all areas of this forest. You're getting missiles, you know," cut Leo looked worried.

"Wait, Di. Its serious. You will also run out of energy if you call the big gun. Are you sure your body will be strong?" leo was getting more anxious.

Finally, Laudi's gaze was directed at the young man. Leo got Laudi's attention. "I don't want to play it safe anymore, Leo, while you're all trying hard. This is the most reasonable way for us to fight three adult Corux. Don'worry. I can," said the girl reassuringly.

"Let me support you, Di." Dipa offers.

Laudi shook his head slowly. "Your strength is over, too, Dipa. Now you wait on Caladrius. Except Kara," she ordered strictly.

"Please trust me, Leo. You have done your own thing. Now it's my turn" Laudi cut impatiently. He had to immediately concentrate on enlarging the blue portal before him.

Leo sighed softly. His face still showed great anxiety. Even so, he did not comment anymore. With a heavy heart, Leo turned to go with Dipa and Rendra to go back up to the back of Caladrius.

Now on the side of Laudi only left Kara who was ready to open her own portal. He awaits the cue from Laudi who is still focused on summoning a very large heavy weapon from within his dimension portal.

A few minutes passed and the Laudi portal had already widened to tens of meters wide. At this point, Laudi's energy was completely drained away. He could barely hold on. His two hands that extended forward began to tremble and his body already felt increasingly heavy. Sweat drenched Laudi's entire body, his head buzzing almost losing consciousness.

Even so, Laudi persisted. He continued to exert all his determination to widen his portal in order to be able to summon a large weapon that was twenty meters long. A guided missile that can fly in sub-orbit altitude through a ballistic path.

"Laudi, you're bleeding!" pekik Kara looked surprised.

Laudi did not realize it but now both nostrils had started to bleed. Shortly after, he coughed and his mouth spurted fresh blood. Kara again gave a worried shriek, but Laudi shook his head softly without saying anything. A little more, he thought. Laudi just has to hang on for a little while.

The seconds passed very slowly. Laudi's consciousness was already on the verge of being around and gone, until finally, the portal he summoned was in the right measure. A gigantic missile-throwing weapon finally emerged from behind the portal. The heavy metal and the huge missile were pushed out slowly.

Laudi still had to keep his portal open until the whole giant body of weapons came out perfectly. His efforts also yielded results. The large missile and its ejection also appeared on the land of Borneo forest that has been ravaged.

Laudi immediately closed the portal again while gasping out of breath. It was worse than running a sprint. More like doing bench press ten thousand times in a row. While propping up the body on her knees, Laudi also wiped sweat that had dripped all over the face, including the blood of her nose. Kara immediately ran towards the girl worriedly.

"Still strong?" asked Kara with furrowed brows.

Laudi only nodded briefly. "Now we can start hunting, Kara," he said later.
