The animals from the zoo began to approach. There are lions, white tigers, and deer and orangutans. All of the animals look unusual. Their bodies were covered in bloody wounds, both eyes were white with no black pupils inside. Everything looked furious and growled savagely when it saw Laudi and Leo standing in front of the greenhouse.
In the next instant, dozens of ferocious beasts swarmed simultaneously towards Laudi and Leo. Laudi quickly strafed the bullet from his automatic rifle. The sound of continuous gunfire broke the silence of the forest. The wild animals that were hit by Laudi shot then ejected backwards as far as five meters.
On the other hand, Leo ordered his giant snake to attack the beasts that had pounced on him. Basil pecked at the animals with his venomous snout. Once pecked, the giant snake can annex up to three animals at once. Meanwhile, Basil's thick, plump, coiled belly protected his master.
That fierce battle lasted for a while. The ferocious beasts continued to arrive as if there was no end. Fortunately, Laudi's bullets did not run out either. His weapon used ether power to take out bullets.
"Laudi! Aman?" exclaim Leo who is now on the body of a giant snake.
Laudi is still struggling with his weapon. "That's a bit of a dead elephant!" said the girl while trying to drop some elephants that began to gallop towards her.
"Need here!" leo said as he extended his hand.
Laudi welcomed Leo's helping hand and immediately jumped up and climbed onto Basil's calm circular body in front of the greenhouse. From above the snake's body, Laudi again fired his weapon.
"Moldennya actually animals this zoo. They were infected until they became like that. Pantes all the animal cages are empty" Leo commented, giving Basil the order to annex a boar.
"First I thought the animals had died before the molden. He knew they were the monsters" Laudi responded with a sigh. Finally, he managed to kill three elephants whose bodies were covered with torn wounds.
"This abbot, how's your plan?" ask Leo then.
Laudi snatched his drinking water from his brand-new sling bag. After taking a few sips, Laudi finally felt better.
"Clean all the Mold. Then burn the organism's tissue. That greenhouse could be a good shelter. All the necessities of life can be provided there. If there is a threat, they can lock themselves inside" Laudi explained.
"But they want to be told to live in a greenhouse? What if they want to go home? See their families?"
"You also know how things are out there. Everyone may have been a host of Corux or killed Molden. Unless we can find an official shelter, this place is the safest for them" Laudi said calmly.
Leo nodded in agreement. Laudi's proposal is correct. It was also impossible for them to carry around eighteen ordinary citizens along the journey in search of a safe refuge. The only way is to save this area from Corux infection until it is completely sterile.
"Okay, if that's your plan. It is undeniable that you are a strategist since Maldek first," said Leo in the end.
After that, Laudi and Leo returned to focus on completing their hunt for animals that had turned into Molden, zombie-like creatures that appeared due to Corux infection. The shape of Molden can vary, depending on where the Corux fell. There is a headless flesh like in a hotel. Molden of that type arises from a network of Corux organisms that are deliberately 'born' to protect the territory. Usually it happens because there is no host body that can be infected. Corux eventually created Molden from its own network.
While the terrible beasts that are now facing Laudi and Leo are the type of Molden that appear due to infection. Corux uses the human body as its nutritional source. Humans are usually locked in a mucous membrane in the tissues of Corux organisms so that later the essence of life will form Corux's body to be perfect. Corux therefore cannot make Molden from the human body. The only creatures that Corux seeks to transform into Molden are the animals.
"I think it's going to end this" said Leo as he descended from Basil's stomach.
Laudi agrees. The number of wild animals has now shrunk. No one else came. Instead, the animal's corpses were now scattered throughout the area. They had to burn it so as not to leave another Corux network that could infect and spread widely.
After all Molden was finally eradicated, Laudi rushed to retrieve the flamethrower from his dimension portal. The girl began burning the sticky, smelly remains of Corux tissue. Leo also did not waste his time and immediately helped Laudi clean up the place. After returning Basil to the spirit dimension, Leo now took out a dozen fire salamanders two meters from within his own portal. All the salamanders in black were ordered by Leo to start burning all traces of Corux in the zoo.
"If it's about execution, you're the expert, Leo. Fast, agile and efficient" Laudi praised as he watched the Leo fire salamanders rush in all directions as they spew fire in the infected area.
"Well, that's how. Hopefully not until the forest fire. I have to call it rain when it's like that" Leo said as he pulled out a packet of filter cigarettes from his cowboy pants pocket. "You?" the young man offered his cigarette.
Laudi shook his head slowly. "I don't like the complications. You know for yourself my task is a strategy," replied the girl lightly.
"Fool." Leo responded while smoking his cigarette with pleasure. "Now, since you intend to create a shelter here, that means Corux's mother must be exterminated right?" leo asked again to focus on the main topic.
Laudi nodded slowly. "I want to try calling Javelin," the girl responded as she stared pushyly at the sky. In the distance appears the white body of Corux that has been growing little by little.
"Seriously Javelin? That's as much as half of this area" Leo commented in surprise.
"That's the only way. Well because of that, I need your help. When the bullets are fired, this greenhouse must be kept safe. So can you protect the greenhouse?" laudi asked seriously.
Leo seemed to think for a moment. "Could anyway. But there's still a risk. Just not a big impact," said the young man later.
"Originally those people are safe it doesn't seem like a problem. You're safe yourself, right?" Laudi made sure, worried that his request might hurt Leo.
"Silent. Safe, really."
Laudi nodded in satisfaction. "Yes, and don't forget to call Lola back. The same three people," he continued to remind.
