CHAPTER 9 "STUPID ?"

The Emperor smiled and moved his right hand hinting to get back up.
"Your Majesty, Wu Liang received Emperor Wu's order to select one of the princes as the bride-to-be. The servant has also brought several jewelry boxes for the Empress, as well as several gold and cloth boxes as a form of good faith from our Wu Xian Kingdom" Wu Liang said respectfully.
"I've heard about the prosperity of Wu Xian Kingdom, convey my gratitude to Emperor Wu" said the emperor interrupted for a moment.
"Princess Wu Liang and the envoys are welcome to sit down and enjoy the meal" the Emperor continued.
Wu Liang and his companions sat on the left side of the red carpet opposite the princes' seats. Some palace servants entered the hall and served food and wine at each table as a banquet. After the servants came out, 5 dancers entered the hall and danced to the music of the lute and flute played by the literary scholars of the palace. It was seen that all the messengers were enjoying the show while drinking a small glass of wine.
After the show, everyone in the hall enjoyed the dishes at the table. Then the event continued by enjoying the beautiful music of the lute perfectly matched with the atmosphere of the time.

Two of Wu Liang's bodyguards entered the hall and held tightly onto Lin Zi's right and left hands.
"Take me off!" lin Zi ordered the two bodyguards but the bodyguards did not obey her orders.
"Please Princess Wu Liang release Miss Xiu" Xuan asked slightly bowed.
