CHAPTER 11 "HUNT 1"

The day of hunting arrived. The sunlight began to penetrate through the gaps of the doors and windows. Birds chirping at each other. Lin Zi was seen still sleeping soundly on her bed. Nao Yu entered Lin Zi's room furiously and tried to wake Lin Zi up.

"Miss..wake up, miss.." call Nao Yu while shaking Lin Zi's shoulder.

"I'm still so sleepy...don't bother me.." muttered Lin Zi with eyes still closed while clasping Nao Yu's hand on her shoulder.

"Miss aren't you going hunting today? Get up!"

Nao Yu's words made Lin Zi wake up instantly. He completely forgot about it and was too good with his sleep.

"Nao Yu.. Has Jing Xuan left already?" asked Lin Zi as soon as he regained consciousness.

"They are still preparing in the palace courtyard and are about to leave.."

"Wretched wretched wretched wretch" muttered Lin Zi as she opened the blanket that still covered half her legs and rushed towards the prepared bathtub.

"Nao Yu, quickly prepare my clothes" Lin Zi ordered as she took off her clothes.

Before long Lin Zi had prepared with a special hanfu for hunting. Her long hair was tied up using a long red ribbon. He rushed out but his steps stopped at the door. He saw a white horse tied to a bamboo rod in front of his pavilion, which was equipped with a saddle, arrow and bow.

"Eh Nao Yu. Why are there horses here?" lin Zi asked the girl who had just finished cleaning the dressing table.

"The Crown Prince brought it for you" he replied.

"Jing Xuan? When did he come? Why don't I know?"

"So when you're still asleep..."

"Zi'er" said a man wearing a white hanfu hunting.

"Ehh Jing Yuan.. Why are you here?" asked Lin Zi to the man who approached her.

"I was waiting for you in the palace courtyard, but you didn't come so I came here." Yuan explained as he looked at the white horse in front of Lin Zi's pavilion.

"Ehh.. Is this the horse of the Crown Prince?" Very good" Yuan continued as he stroked the horse's head.

"really right? Then I'll name this horse... Mei Li.." said Lin Zi as she approached her horse.

"Mei Li means beautiful, it fits perfectly" Yuan praised with a smile.

"We are too late, Mei Mei let's go quickly." said Lin Zi hurriedly untied the horse and pulled the horse.

Lin Zi tried to pull the horse rope firmly, but not a step of the horse moved. His hand that pulled the rope had even turned red.

"May Mei let's go" said Lin Zi whose forehead was frowning from being too insistent to pull her horse.

"Ehh.. Zi'er.. Why not just ride it?" said Yuan who saw Lin Zi trying to pull the horse rope but the horse did not take a step.

"ehhh right too, hehehe" Lin Zi laughed in embarrassment and tried to ride her horse.

Yuan smiled at Lin Zi's silly behavior in front of him.

Lin Zi was confused because her horse was still unwilling to walk. He also recalled the scene riding a horse on a colossal drama show on tv that he had seen before.

"Yeah! Hyaa!" said Lin Zi loudly ordering his horse to walk but still the horse did not move.

Yuan chuckled looking at Lin Zi who did not know how to ride a horse. He jumped up with a lightening stance and landed right behind Lin Zi. Both of his hands were holding onto the control rope which looked like he was hugging Lin Zi from behind. Lin Zi was silent in surprise. His face began to blush and his heart was beating rather quickly.

Meanwhile inside the pavilion Lin Zi was seen a servant with glassy eyes looking at Yuan's treatment of Lin Zi. His hands clenched tightly.

"You must hold the rope firmly" Yuan said right beside Lin Zi's ear making Lin Zi look like a stone statue.

"Then hit his body using your new legs he will walk" Yuan continued, tapping his feet into the horse's body.

The horse started walking at low speed. Lin Zi felt astonished because this was the first time he rode a horse. His eyes were wide open looking right left and up, his mouth was open and many times said waahhhhh waahhhhhh.

After arriving at the palace, Yuan stopped the horse by pulling the control rope. He went down and changed into riding his own dark brown horse which he had left to look for Lin Zi. Lin Zi controlled her own horse and Yuan followed behind.

Soon they arrived at the hunting ground. They led his horse into the hunting area with a rather wide meadow.

Lin Zi led her horse a bit to the middle of the field while Xuan was approaching Yuan who was on the edge of the meadow.

Then a woman with purple-colored hunting hanfu led her horse towards Lin Zi.

"Your horse is good too." said the woman.

"Of course!" sahut Lin Zi Ketus's.

"It's only good for a horse if it can't ride it" the woman said.

"Wu Liang.. Has anyone ever said that you are so arrogant?" said Lin Zi who did not like being insinuated by Wu Liang.

"You!" wu Liang said disconnected as Lin Zi immediately scorned him.

"Here you go, I don't want to argue with you anymore. Then I go first huh" said Lin Zi as she rode her horse.

Lin Zi's words made Wu Liang very upset.

"Let's see if you can ride it" Wu Liang muttered as he struck the horse's butt hard with the whip he was carrying.

The horse let out a scream lifting its front legs and drove very fast into the forest. Yuan immediately rode his horse and chased after Lin Zi. Unwilling to blame, Wu Liang temple dropped and held back Xuan who was willing to go after Lin Zi. Wu Liang told Xuan that he was very surprised that Lin Zi's horse had arrived mad. Xuan saw Yuan who had entered the forest chasing after Lin Zi, in his heart hoping that Yuan could protect Lin Zi. He also helped Wu Liang to stand up and try to remain kind considering the relationship between the Kingdoms.

Meanwhile, Lin Zi's horse was still speeding very fast entering the forest deepening. Yuan, who was chasing him, lost track of him and tried to walk down the horse's footprints at moderate speed.

A movement from behind the thicket shocked Lin Zi's horse to the point of screaming and raising both of its front legs. The movement that arrived arrived dropped Lin Zi from his horse. Without a second thought, the horse immediately turned around and ran away leaving Lin Zi. Lin Zi fell down and frowned in pain holding her butt while trying to stand up. A large animal came out from the bush. Lin Zi's eyes were wide-eyed at him. A huge tiger approached Lin Zi. Without a second thought, the frightened Lin Zi immediately ran to save herself. The tiger chased him.

Yuan looked at Lin Zi's horse that was running back alone. He immediately accelerated his horse's pace towards the origin of the horse Lin Zi was running.

Meanwhile Lin Zi's footsteps came to a halt at the end of the cliff. Dead end! thought. Now the big tiger was only 5 meters away from him and continued to approach slowly. Lin Zi's step had already reached the end of the cliff, if he stepped again, he would fall.
