CHAPTER 27 "DEJA VU"
"How's it?" ask a woman sitting on her dresser to see her reflection in the mirror.
"Tonight His Majesty the Emperor will spend the night with Consort Wei. It seems like the Queen Mother often asked Consort Wei to serve the Emperor" Ruyu reported.

Ruyu also went towards the Emperor's residence.
"Your Majesty, the Queen's servant is asking to see you" one eunuch reported.
"Let him in"
Liu Ying immediately approached the Emperor sitting at his desk and grabbed onto his shoulders. Although Xuan was feeling uneasy, but there was still the Queen Mother's servant watching over. He can't act freely.
"Honor Your Majesty the Emperor" Ruyu said in a salute.

"The Empress fell ill Your Majesty"

Xuan was now sitting on Lin Zi's bedside, while Lin Zi was sitting leaning back.
"Honor Your Majesty the Emperor and the Empress" said Liu Ying who was now standing 3 meters away from Lin Zi's bed.
"Your Majesty, I brought you porridge. I heard you had a fever, so I definitely don't have a taste for rice"
Ruyu took the tray Liu Ying was carrying while Lin Zi tried to avert Xuan's gaze. At that moment Ruyu took the opportunity to insert the white powder she had been holding. Ruyu thrust the tray at Xuan. Without hesitation Xuan bribed it to Lin Zi.
"Consort Wei, did you make this porridge yourself?" ask Xuan.
"Right, Your Majesty, I made it with my own hand"

"Ti. is impossible" murmured Liu Ying who began to tremble in fear.
"Guards ! Catch Consort Wei right now!" xuan shouted at the guards guarding outside.
Two bodyguards came in and held Liu Ying.
"Your Majesty, I didn't do it! How could the servant poison the Empress in the presence of His Majesty the Emperor?!" liu Ying defended himself.
"You mean the Empress poisoned herself?!"
Xuan clenched tightly onto Lin Zi's limp body.

The morning sunlight pierced through the crack of Lin Zi's room building. Slowly the girl opened her eyes. He looked up at the sky and blinked his eyes a few times. "You cried all night?" tanya Lin Zi looked at Ruyu's still wet cheeks.

"I'm fine, don't cry anymore" Lin Zi said with a smile.
Ruyu helped Lin Zi to sit down because of Lin Zi's still weak condition.

"Zi'er.." Xuan muttered as he stood up.
