CHAPTER 12 "HUNT 2"

Suddenly an arrow stuck on the tiger's neck made the tiger not wart. Yuan immediately ran over to Lin Zi from the back of the tiger.

"Zi'er are you okay?" tanya Yuan confirmed Lin Zi's condition.

"It's okay!" sahut Lin Zi's.

Lin Zi's fear slowly dissipated seeing Yuan by his side.

"Thank God, let's get out of here" Yuan said as he held Lin Zi's left hand.

Just as Yuan turned his body, 4 tigers emerged from within the forest. Lin Zi returned in fright and clasped tightly onto Yuan's arm.

"Zi'er why is this tiger chasing you?" yuan asked, investigating the root of the matter.

"I don't know" said Lin Zi who was now hiding behind Yuan.

The wind blew carrying a scent that was smelled by Yuan's nose. The tiger that also smelled the scent also looked more ferocious like a hungry tiger. Yuan smelled his scent, nothing strange. Then Yuan turned around and smelled the scent of Lin Zi's body. Now he knew why the tiger was chasing Lin Zi.

"Zi'er take off your clothes!" yuan said immediately.

"To.why! What are you thinking?!" said Lin Zi while covering her chest with both hands.

"I smell the flesh on your shirt, so quickly take off your shirt!" sahut Yuan.

Yuan immediately released Lin Zi's outer layer hanfu forcefully and threw it towards the tiger. The four tigers fought over each other over the clothes Yuan threw. Meanwhile Yuan immediately drew Lin Zi running past the left side of the cliff.

But a moment later, the four tigers came back after Lin Zi and Yuan. Yuan tried to shoot the tiger while running, but the arrow continued to miss because Yuan could not focus. As the tiger got closer, Yuan pulled out a silver-sung dagger from his shirt. He tried to fight the tiger. Realizing that, Lin Zi stopped looking at Yuan's situation and thought of a way to help her. But fighting 4 tigers armed with daggers is not easy. A tiger managed to injure Yuan's right shoulder with its sharp claws. Yuan was in pain, but he still had to fight the tiger.

"Zi'er quickly entered the cave!" yuan said loudly making Lin Zi search where the cave Yuan was referring to.

His eyes stopped when he saw a narrow cave door. It could only be entered if one tilted his body, and only a thin person could enter it.

"But.." muttered Lin Zi who could not leave Yuan in such a condition.

At this moment Yuan was holding back the most secure tiger then Lin Zi saw a rather large piece of rock a few steps away from him. He immediately took the 2.5 kg stone and threw it at the tiger. Yuan took advantage of the opportunity to pull Lin Zi away from the door of the narrow cave. The four tigers tried to chase after him but because of his large body made him unable to enter. But they didn't give up and waited at the cave door.

Lin Zi and Yuan's breathing gasped. Yuan's left hand held onto his right shoulder which continued to bleed. Seeing that, Lin Zi was willing to tear off her skirt. But he only realized that now he only wears long cloth pants and tops shaped like a tank top but made of cloth and small shoulder straps. Lin Zi looked at Yuan's hanfu and immediately tore off the bottom. He told Yuan to sit down and remove the top of his hanfu so that Lin zi could bandage it.

"Hopefully the tiger will leave immediately and we can get out. Otherwise you won't be able to survive any longer.the wound on your shoulder is deep enough and your blood has come out too much" muttered Lin Zi who was now sitting beside Yuan while hugging her two legs that were bent in front, her head bowed.

Yuan looked at Lin Zi who seemed to be blaming herself. Yuan took his outer hanfu and put it on Lin Zi's back. Lin Zi turned to look at him.

"Jing Yuan.." murmured Lin Zi saw Yuan who now only wore a top shaped like a bathrobe but made of cloth with subordinates of white cloth trousers just like her boss, although now the boss is mixed with the red color of blood.

"You can catch a cold." Yuan said worried about Lin Zi.

Time continued to pass, even the exhausted Lin Zi was no longer able to withstand the drowsiness. He overslept by placing his right side of the temple on his knee. Yuan sat facing Lin Zi so that he could look more freely at Lin Zi's face which was now sound.

Soon the sound of crowded horse-footed footprints woke Lin Zi up. Yuan had stood up and peeked at what was happening outside. Xuan looks with some of his guards on a horse and stops in front of the cave.

Lin Zi stood up and looked through the narrow cave door.

"Jin Xuan!" call Lin Zi out loud.

Xuan descended from his horse to see Lin Zi exit the cave door followed by Yuan.

"Zi'er.your shoulder." said Xuan looking at Lin Zi's bleeding shoulder.

"I'm fine, it's Yuan's shirt. Yuan's injured shoulder, we should immediately bring him back to be treated" Lin Zi said quickly.

They soon returned to the palace. Yuan had also received treatment from the healers in his pavilion.

Lin Zi had also told her what had happened to her and Yuan. The first person Xuan suspects is Nao Yu, but Nao Yu says that he doesn't know what. Lin Zi also forbade Xuan to interrogate Nao Yu, as Lin Zi believed that Nao Yu would not do that. Then at Xuan's residence, Xuan ordered his personal bodyguards to investigate in secret, who sprayed the flesh-scented perfume onto Lin Zi's hunting suit.

The night was getting late, but the lights in Di Mian's pavilion were still on.

"The woman is really sneaky!" said a woman while pounding the table.

"Because of her I failed to be with Jing Xuan!" keep the woman.

"Miss Wu Liang. Then put the stimulant drugs on the drink, so you can go through the night with the Crown Prince right?!" said personal servant Wu Liang enlightening.

"It's also true that I can marry Jing Xuan" the woman said with a grimace.

Lin Zi was seen peeking out from behind the tree. He saw a man in gold and crown had just walked out of Yuan Ji's pavilion. After the Emperor walked some distance, he rushed into Yuan Ji's pavilion to meet Yuan.

"Zi'er... What's wrong?" sahut Yuan stood up from his chair.

"Sit down. Sit down." said Lin Zi told Yuan to sit back with a grimace.

Yuan smiled and sat back down followed by Lin Zi sitting beside him.

"Zi'er what are you here for?" yuan asked Lin Zi who had never previously come to his residence alone.

"Jing Yuan.. emmm.. ituu" muttered the puzzled Lin Zi to start the conversation.

"Just say it. Don't worry.." pushed Yuan while chuckling.

Lin Zi took out a silver-gloved dagger from inside her sleeve and placed it on the table then thrust it at Yuan.

"This.." murmured Yuan recognized the dagger.

"I picked it up before leaving the place. I cleaned it too.. Jing Yuan. Thank you for helping me" said Lin Zi then.

"I don't even remember it because of yesterday's mess. Zi'er thank you for taking care of him.. This dagger was my mother's gift before her death." said Yuan who looked at the dagger in front of her.

"It turns out, this is a very important thing. It's lucky it's not gone, if it's gone, I don't know what to do.." muttered Lin Zi who was now looking at the dagger.

"Ehh Zi..." Yuan took the dagger with his left hand.

"You can take care of this dagger for good." Yuan continued.

"No no. This is a very important thing, I cannot accept it." said Lin Zi as he stood up.

Yuan stood up and grabbed Lin Zi's left hand with his right. He placed the dagger in Lin Zi's hand and made Lin Zi hold it.
