CHAPTER 8 "BORING"
Ever since their quarrel, Xuan hadn't encountered Lin Zi at all. It had been 4 days for Lin Zi to be in her room. The sun was already about to set, a faintly visible twilight light passed through the gaps of the trees and pavilion buildings. It seemed Lin Zi had nothing to do. These few days Lin Zi was just sleeping, eating, lying down, sitting reading a book then eating and lying down again. Nao Yu was confused to see her nonanya like a useless person.
"It's so boring." muttered Lin Zi who had been sitting on a chair and banging her head on the table.
"Miss...don't bang your head like that." advised Nao Yu who was standing next to Lin Zi.
Lin Zi sighed.
"Nao Yu... Is the angel of death still angry?" Lin Zi raised his head lazily. His body felt weak from boredom.
"Miss..don't call the Crown Prince like that" Nao Yu said.
"It's so boring. If this continues I can die of boredom.. Prince Yuan hasn't seen me since that day either" you Lin Zi.
"Maybe the Crown Prince and Prince Yuan are busy so can't see you." said Nao Yu trying to calm his nona.
Lin Zi immediately got up from her chair, her face looking bright after getting an idea.
"Truely, if they can't see me then I can meet them" Lin Zi said as she flicked her finger.
Lin Zi lifted her long skirt with both hands. He walked out with excitement. His long hair swayed to the right and left following his steps.
"Miss..the sun has set, where else do you go"
Lin Zi's attitude really made Nao Yu troubled. He could not let his wife walk alone. A stale expression was painted on the servant's face, and he was forced to follow where Lin Zi was going.
Lin Zi's steps came to a halt in the front yard of a large pavilion called Jin Long which meant Golden Dragon. In front of the pavilion door were 2 guards dressed as soldiers with swords tied around his waist. Lin Zi lurked from a distance of approximately 20 meters because he also did not dare to enter the pavilion.
Shortly afterwards he saw Jing Xuan being escorted by a walking eunuch and stopped at the door because of a female servant who approached him. Lin Zi could not hear what they were talking about so just observe it. A wide smile arrived engraved on her tiny lips and both of her hands waved towards Xuan who was looking at her. But the sharp-eyed man ignored him and walked away following the waiter. Lin Zi again lost her spirit, her face looking lethargic.
"Aiiyoooo he's really still angry" muttered Lin Zi exhaled in annoyance.
"Miss.you better apologize to the Crown Prince. Although the Crown Prince had always been cold but he was actually someone who was considerate. It's just that the Crown Prince can't express it" Nao Yu said.
"It's true as well." said he was cut off thinking about Nao Yu's words that had a point.
"Ehh Nao Yu. Have you ever dated?" Lin Zi asked excitedly as Nao Yu looked expert in this field.
"Dating?" Nao Yu asked because he had never heard the term.
"Emmm I mean connecting with men" Lin Zi explained but in terms that made Nao Yu misunderstand.
"Miss.we can't do that before we get married!" sahut Nao Yu with a reddened face while looking down.
"I don't mean like that! I mean emmm close! Being close to a guy like walking or watching movies with people you like" Lin Zi tried to find words that were understandable.
"Miss.." said Nao Yu disconnected.
A wide smile was re-engraved on Lin Zi lips looking at Nao Yu who seemed to understand.
"Do you understand?"
"What is a movie?" nao Yu asked to make Lin Zi's spirit disappear again.
The smile that was just now had turned into a sigh of annoyance.
"It's over." murmured Lin Zi before walking away leaving Nao Yu.
Meanwhile a female servant was leading the way to the pavilion*** Jing which was the Emperor's residence.
When he got to the front door of the pavilion, the maid opened the door and let him in. The eunuch who had been following Jing Xuan stopped and waited in front of the door with the 2 maids guarding the door.
"Xiao'er, you've come, sit down" said the Emperor, allowing Xuan to sit with him at a table filled with delicious dishes.
"Honour to the Emperor's Father and Empress Mother" Xuan said in a salute.
Xuan sat down on the chair that had been left for him. At the table also has collected six princes who are rarely found on an ordinary day. It looks like something important will be discussed at the dinner.
"All the princes have gathered together, it seems like the Emperor's Father has an important matter that needs to be discussed" Xuan said breaking the awkward atmosphere among the princes.
"Xiao'er.you understand the situation very well" the Emperor said with a small laugh praising Xuan's instincts.
The Empress smiled at the Emperor who praised her son. But it adds awkward situation among the princes.
"My goal is to gather you here because the Princess of Wu Xian Kingdom is coming here. The second prince has married so I don't invite him anymore" the Emperor said.
"His Majesty's intention is that the princess' arrival this time is to marry off one of us?" ask the 9th prince to make sure.
"Chen'er's right. But since the Crown Prince already has a future wife then he will be excluded"
The word made the empress a little upset that her son was still stubborn and the Emperor also obeyed his will.
"Your Majesty.. The Crown Prince is also still unmarried.We as younger brothers seem a little disrespectful if married first" said the fourth prince.
"Wu'er.. isn't your age with the Crown Prince only 2 weeks away?" the Emperor pranks his son.
"But Your Majesty" the fourth prince stammered as he could not think of a word to answer the Emperor's question.
The Emperor laughed and confused the princes.
"I'm just kidding, you guys don't look so stiff." said the later Emperor who still couldn't hold back his laughter.
Seeing that, the empress and the princes laughed even though they seemed a bit forced just so that the Emperor did not feel that his joke was too crisp.
"The arrival of the princess of Wu Xian Kingdom this time is to choose one of you because Her Majesty the Emperor has also negotiated it before. But this is only an engagement, for the wedding of course you have to wait for the Crown Prince to get married first" explained the empress who does not like stale.

The Emperor, the Empress and all the princes had prepared to hold their precious metal chopsticks and some had already chopped one of the dishes.
"So..when will the Princess arrive?" tanya Xuan made the activity stop.
"I guess the day after tomorrow. Xiao'er we ate first. Look at your brother's sister who is hungry" the Emperor replied as he looked at his son who had not yet swallowed.
