Chapter 29 Stop Being a Coward

There was a bit of worry as he entered the classroom, after what happened yesterday there was an awkward feeling when he came face to face with Rapka.

But fortunately Rapka behaved as usual, as if nothing happened yesterday that made him breathe a sigh of relief.

But what then happens in sports hours makes it moody for life, three classmates approach and talk to each other.

"I saw you yesterday at the cafe with Rapka," said one of them who certainly surprised Yuri.

"I really can't believe you did it, Yuri you're a snake! how dare you walk alone with Rapka even until friendly. Did you know Rapka was Imel's girlfriend?" hatchlings.

Yuri was wide-eyed, she had forgotten about it.

"Cruel, I don't think he dared to do such evil to Imel," the others murmured in whispers.

"For so long Imel has been good to you but instead you betrayed him, have you not been made with Noah huh?" tanyakanya.

"N-no that... " Yuri was about to defend herself but she did not find the right word.

The more he tried to find a defense the more he realized his mistake, they were right. He should have rejected Rapka's invitation at that time, he should have kept his distance.

Slowly Yuri looked at the three people, but what she found was a look of contempt.

Because Yuri did not respond they finally left Yuri just like that, while tears of regret drenched Yuri's sports clothes.

Sports hours are running out but Noah hasn't found Yuri since, this is certainly very strange because he saw Yuri had changed clothes when the sports hours began but until now he suddenly disappeared.

Feeling anxious Noah tried to look for places that might be in Yuri, he started from the toilet to the cafeteria.

Until he finally went to the roof, it turned out Yuri was right there. Standing staring down from the wire that became the barrier fence.

"You're here, what are you doing?" asked Noah to approach.

"Yuri." called Noah while patting him on the shoulder.

How surprised Noah when he saw the wet eyes of Yuri until his nose reddened, it can be sure he cried since.

"What's going on?" asked Noah to panic.

"I am. I am the most evil person in the world" Yuri said in her sobs.

"What are you talking about?" noah asked not to understand.

"True they say, I have no shame.. Imel has been very kind to me. But... " Yuri could not continue her words but Noah immediately understood her point.

"You love Rapka" Noah said, affirming Yuri's heart.

That speech certainly stopped Yuri from crying, looking at Noah he saw a serious look that was very sharp.

"You like Rapka, don't you? you've been watching him for a long time" asked Noah.

Slowly then Yuri nodded, she did not want to pretend anymore.

"Mm, then why are you crying?" asked Noah with a meaningful smile.

Noah is not at all surprised by the contents of Yuri's head, he actually already knows that Rapka and Yuri secretly like each other. It's just that Yuri is too cowardly to even confess her feelings, while Rapka misunderstands Yuri's closeness to Noah so she never wants to express it.

Now Noah is in the midst of unspoken love, with his hands he can control both hearts either unite him or vice versa.

"Imel and Rapka never had a relationship that was more than just a friend" Noah said.

"What?" yuri asked almost in disbelief.

"Just like us, people misunderstand because we always walk together to eat together. So there's nothing you need to worry about" Noah explained.

"Really?" yuri asked, finding hope.

Noah nodded, smiling to give full confidence until Yuri wiped away her tears.

"Even if they have a relationship you don't have to regret, that feeling of liking isn't us in control. Liking someone who is not ours is not a sin, you have the right to keep it and even express it."

Noah's advice not only made Yuri feel better, but made her realize to try even bolder if she wanted to get what she wanted.

"Yuri, stop being a coward" Noah said.

Yuri was stunned, for some reason the expression felt piercing her heart like an invisible thin needle.

"I will try" he said slowly.

"I will support you" Noah said, ready to stand right behind.

Meeting in the parking lot as usual Rapka walks with Noah while chatting, as they stare at Yuri despite having met in class but still they say hello back with stale ado.

"Ah my notes missed in class, you guys go first," Noah said.

"Oh well," said Rapka.

Yuri and Rapka also walked together towards the gate while guiding their bicycles, no words spoken making awkward between them.

"Anu... "

"Gee!" Rapka and Yuri stared at each other in shock as they twice said the same word.

"A-what's up? " ask Yuri while lowering her face in embarrassment.

"No, it's not important. What did you want to talk about?" sahut Rapka's.

"It's nothing," replied Yuri who actually did not know what to say.

He just disliked the awkwardness and tried to get away from it, eventually they were completely silent until they parted at the school gate.

Yuri got on his bike and started pedaling, inwardly cursing himself who was still a coward.

Though Noah had supported him and he had many opportunities, but all those opportunities were missed.

Staring at the still-bright sky in his heart he was determined that tomorrow should be a fresh start leaving the old Yuri.
