The Cowardly Yuria

The Cowardly Yuria
Chapter 13 No Future Plan

All the time Yuri learns to try to be calm, there is a fear in her Rapka will consider him a freak. But luckily Rapka behaved as usual so he felt safe, after the lesson after Imel and Yuri asked permission not to take part in the training first because they wanted to watch the game.

On the bus they left, unexpectedly when they met Noah and Rapka who also just arrived.

"You watch it too" Rapka said.

"of course! we won't miss the game" said Imel.

The two cheerful people immediately chatted while walking in front, while Yuri followed behind with Noah.

He notices how Imel can so freely talk to Rapka without any burden, making him feel envious and want the position.

"Ah, I'm going to buy a drink first, you want one too?" bargain Noah as he looks at the drink machine near the entrance.

"Maybe lemon tea," Yuri said.

"What about you guys?" ask Noah.

"I want a soda!" imel shouted while raising his hand.

"As always," said Rapka who knew Noah would understand.

"Alright," Noah replied and left immediately.

They started walking back but the sensitive Yuri understood it would be difficult for Noah to carry four cans without a bag.

"I'm going to buy my own drink" he said as he quickly ran after Noah's steps.

Seeing her Rapka was slightly stunned, noticing how Yuri was talking to Noah while looking into her eyes.

"What's wrong?" ask Imel because Rapka is silent.

"Ah no," she immediately stepped back.

Wanting to be able to see clearly they chose the bench in the first row, when the new match started Noah and Yuri came to bring drinks.

They immediately sat with Yuri right between Noah and Imel while Rapka was at the end, as soon as the whistle sounded that signified the official match in the crowd cheers boisterously in the stadium.

"You see that guy with number five? it's Reid" Imel said.

Yuri nodded, amazed at his height which was roughly 180. Then he realized that Noah and Rapka were also so tall, making it seem to sit between giants.

At the beginning of the game the team from the opposing school excelled by successfully scoring a goal, making a sigh of annoyance from the mouth of Imel. But a few minutes later their team managed to retaliate to make Imel and Rapka stand up and give a cheering ovation.

Seeing the smile on Rapka's face, Yuri's heart was happy, her eyes were always downstairs looking at the floor that day, looking up at Rapka.

Pay attention to how Rapka makes a happy, disappointed and hopeful face. Until the match was over with a win on their team side Rapka cheered and took them tos one by one, Yuri who was a little shocked just raised both hands letting Rapka pat him.

There was a bit of pain because Rapka was patting too hard, but the pain was accompanied by a sting sensation that made him continue to feel the touch of Rapka's hand.

"The match was very exciting, making me impatient to watch the next game!" imel exclaimed as they walked out of the stadium.

"I've guessed they will win" Rapka said confidently but his face showed obvious sadness.

"Tomorrow shall we see Yuk together again?" take Imel.

"True, too" said Imel lethargic.

They were silent as if looking for a way to go tomorrow, unable to decide until they returned to school to pick up the bikes finally at the gate they parted ways.

Yuri immediately paddled his bike while Imel walked because the distance of his house was quite close, while Rapka as usual led his bike beside Noah as usual until they separated in front of Noah's house new Rapka will pedal his bike.

Arriving at Yuri's house was surprised at the arrival of his father who turned out to have been there since noon, apparently his father happened to have a little work near so he came to stop by.

"How's school?" asked her father as grandma let the two of them in the living room.

"Well," said Yuri.

His father took out a brown envelope and placed it right in front of Yuri.

"Dad just got a bonus, you can use it to buy a new book" he said.

"Thank you" Yuri said, taking the envelope.

There's not much they're talking about, it's always the way his father is. Sometimes her mother thinks Yuri's quiet nature is down from her father and that makes her quite upset, but despite being quiet and indifferent her father is more concerned with Yuri and always gives her whatever Yuri wants.

"Then I go home first" he said a few minutes later as it became dusk.

Yuri just nodded and walked up to the door, but soon dinner time arrived but he did not try to invite his father to stay longer for dinner together.

This made her grandmother a little surprised, she knew Yuri was often at work but she thought it would make her want to spend a lot of time with her parents but it was not.

"Well, if you graduate, will you go to town again and live with your parents?" ask grandma curiously in between dinner.

"Come," said Yuri honestly.

He is not a person who likes to plan for the future, he just wants every day to go well and calm. He never had a dream or an ideal, the only thing he wanted was to spend time reading all his favorite comics.

"What if Grandma asks you to stay here even if you graduate?" ask grandma.

For a moment Yuri fell silent to think.

"No problem" he said, who was comfortable in the place.

"Are you going to stay even after work?" ask grandma again.

"Perhaps" he answered because he also did not know what job he would get when he grew up.

Grandma smiled, took out a piece of meat and put it on top of Yuri's rice.

"Grandmother is comfortable living in this house, although alone is not a problem. But once you accompany grandma considering you will definitely graduate and have a life of your own making grandma feel sad, grandma will definitely miss you. At the moment grandma is still calm because you have no plans for your future but later. "grandmother's speech stopped.

He looked at Yuri and smiled.

"Enjoy your time together while there's still time, when the farewell comes lest you regret and curse yourself for everything you've missed."

Yuri was stunned, grandmother's advice had made her throat unable to swallow because there was a bitter taste there.
