Chapter 25 Yuri's Regret

Yuri joined the march and shake hands with the opponent and the referee in charge, at first glance his face looks gloomy as usual but if you look closely there is a deep wound.

"It's okay, we've all tried hard. Quickly clean your stuff after stretching," said the coach trying to cheer up.

"Good!" sahut them simultaneously.

All the faces looked down again with a few sobs between them, making Yuri even more unable to bear.

"I'm sorry!" yuri exclaimed suddenly while bowing her head.

Tears that had been resistant to falling on the floor, making Imel who had been trying hard earlier immediately cry.

"If I try harder, if only I'd never been lazy for sure.

Unable to get out because of his breath that was cut off due to crying, only this time he regretted not really. Only this time he had a desire and could not make it happen because of his cowardice and easy to give up.

All nodded in agreement, telling Yuri to smile and get excited again. There are still other tournaments that they can participate in, so now they have to go home and gather as much energy as possible.

Pensive, even Yuri's tears stopped dripping so shocked. During this time he was always alone, so far his only friends Imel, Rapka and Noah. Then somehow since when suddenly now he has many friends, even though Yuri thinks they are just people who have the same club activities.

Back to school the coach treats them to a meal before returning home, although they are not eager to eat but they still spend the meal in honor of the coach.

Satisfied to let go of the sadness they can finally part with a smile on each other's faces, Yuri also now feels much better walking along the sidewalk to the house.

It was late in the afternoon and he missed the last bus so he was forced to walk, but Yuri did not mind because he really wanted to spend time by walking until his mind was clear.

The bicycle's decitan on the brake made Yuri stop stepping, her eyes staring at the startled Noah who stopped right beside her.

"I'll take you home" he said.

"Ah, no need. I can walk by myself" replied Yuri who did want to be alone.

But suddenly Noah pulled his hand until they were so close, making Yuri's heart seem to stop for a moment.

"I won't let a girl with an empty mind walk in the afternoon" Noah said flatly.

"Let's ride!" invite Noah to release his hand.

Yuri, who could never resist, finally got on Noah's bike, clinging to Noah's waist before the bike drove down the road.

Along the way they do not talk, making them look like lovers who are angry with each other until they finally arrive in front of the house.

"Thank you" said Yuri.

Noah nodded and told Yuri to go inside immediately to rest, while he himself would go straight home.

"Yuri!" calling Noah made Yuri look.

"Your game isn't bad" he said then pedaling his bike to leave.

Yuri, it took a while to realize that Noah was watching the game so it made sense.

Noah gets off the bike and leads him into the roadside field, Rapka who knows Noah's arrival stops immediately his activity kicking the ball.

"Thank you for the bike" Noah said, parked the bike.

"No problem, let's go home!" bring Rapka.

He puts the ball in a new bag guiding his bike next to Noah, they walk off the field to the sidewalk.

"Do you think they're okay?" ask Rapka who is still thinking.

"Okay," said Noah who did not know.

This morning when they saw Yuri enter the volleyball court they immediately remembered this was the day the women's volleyball club followed the match, Rapka who wanted to encourage Noah to skip to watch the tournament.

By boarding the bus they finally arrived at the stadium, unfortunately they did not manage to meet Yuri or Imel to give a special spirit.

Finally they can only encourage from the audience bench, they saw everything that happened during the game also heard the ridicule of other spectators who insulted Yuri's play that was not good.

When the game ended in defeat for Yuri's team they actually wanted to encourage, but they had absolutely no chance until they finally came home.

Noah, who then accidentally sees Yuri walking on his own, decides to borrow Rapka's bike and drive her home, giving Yuri a slight nudge to stop drowning in her grief.

Tomorrow as they expected Imel to appear cheerful as usual although clearly his swollen eyes said he had cried all night, of course he felt the hardest hit by this defeat.

But so far he is fine, as well as Yuri who is no more moody than usual.

He thanked Noah for the spirit given yesterday, Rapka who accidentally heard suddenly felt a little unhappy.

He felt Noah had cheated for being dishonest to him, but yesterday Noah borrowed his bike on the grounds there was a business for a while but it turned out that business was to drive Yuri home.
