The Cowardly Yuria

Chapter 10 High Fever

The lesson bell will begin to sound, but Yuri's seat is still empty. It makes Rapka wonder why Yuri did not enter the class, when he remembered Yuri who suddenly went into the rain yesterday made him think maybe he had a fever.

When the usual hours of rest he and Noah went to the cafeteria, but as they passed the teacher's room they passed by Imel.

"What are you doing here?" ask Rapka.

"Oh I've been asking about Yuri, she said she didn't go to school because she was sick. Hhhhhhh what yesterday did he force his way home?" imel replied while asking himself.

Apparently what Rapka was worried about was happening, this made him feel guilty again.

"I'll go to school and see him, do you want to come?" ask Imel.

"Well, we go together" said Rapka to check how bad it hurts, while Noah said nothing but he stayed.

Using their bicycles they all went together, Imel who had already met led them to knock on the door.

"Yes." said Grandma, opening it.

"Oh Imel!" granny was happy to see her coming again.

"Siang Grandma, I heard Yuri was sick. Is it better now?" tanyakanya.

"It was still hot this morning, not yet because he was still sleeping in his room. Come inside!" take grandma.

They followed Grandma inside, allowing them to sit down while she would check on Yuri first.

"His body is still hot but he can get up, please just go into his room. Grandma will make you tea" said the grandmother who returned shortly afterwards.

"Sorry to trouble" said Imel.

"Just tea," said the grandmother who was happy to have guests at her house.

"We have to go to the doctor!" imel cried out whose voice reached the kitchen.

When Grandma came back to give tea she saw Imel was really anxious at Yuri's state, it made her happy and decided not to bother.

"No need, the heat will also come down" Yuri refused.

"Can't be. You're a valuable member of the princess volleyball club!" imel said firmly.

Making Yuri unable to speak, in his mind revolved around the precious word until he did not hear what Imel said. I knew Imel went out with Noah, now he was alone with Rapka.

"I'm sorry!" suddenly Rapka.

He lowered his face, not daring to look at Yuri for being too sorry.

"Because of me." the next word Rapka wanted to say couldn't come out of her mouth.

"Until Imel gets back with the doctor you'd better rest," Rapka finally chooses to swallow all those words.

He walked out, letting Yuri rest while he would wait for Imel and and the others outside.

"Lho! why are you here?" ask grandma who just came back with a basket of yams.

"Oh, Yuri has to rest a lot so I don't want to bother her. Until the doctor comes I'd better be here" Rapka said.

Grandma smiled and then sat down next to Rapka, looking up at the clear sky she said "Yuri must be healed".

"I hope so too" said Rapka.

"This time he would have wanted to continue to go to school, although not much to say but actually he was happy to meet his friends. When his mother called he told many of his friends and volleyball practice, he even asked to buy new volleyball shoes and a bicycle so that he could go home relaxed," said the grandmother told him.

"Yuri was a quiet and timid child, but she never complained and was very obedient. I'm sorry if grandma bothers you, but can you be friends with Yuri?" ask grandma.

Naturally Rapka was shocked to hear the grandmother's request, as if Yuri had never had any friends.

"Yuri.he was always ostracized, it made him moody and unwilling to open up. She's just shy but people act like she's weird" explained the granny with a sad look.

Rapka is confused, only to realize that Yuri's attitude is a little strange. He always hid his face behind long hair, spoke slowly and seemed always nervous.

Apparently it is part of Yuri's nature that must be understood, he seriously promised his grandmother to be Yuri's friend.

The doctor then came with Noah and Imel, apparently Imel's departure was to find the nearest doctor because Yuri did not want to go to see a doctor.

After checking the doctor prescribed the medicine and required Yuri to rest for at least another day, this was due to Yuri's fairly severe fever.

Knowing Yuri hit the rain after exercising Doctor himself to the surprise, it was a very dangerous and life-threatening action so it deserves Yuri high fever for days.

Satisfied to see Imel and the others leave, grandma escorted to the door while Yuri quietly peeked out of the window.

Though he already had the opportunity to talk to Rapka, but again he missed the opportunity foolishly.
