The bright day seemed to try to comfort Yuri from the sadness of her heart, there were no tears flowing but that did not mean she was okay.
Still dressed in all black after the event finished Yuri sat in the dining room, staring at the three empty chairs that only her parents would sit on at dinner.
The room was quiet, the house was quiet as usual. He was used to the silence but this loneliness made him unable to stand it, making him feel as if he was between heaven and earth without being able to do anything.
Grandma walked over, patting Yuri's shoulder gently.
"There's no need to hold it in," said the grandmother in a stifled voice.
For some reason the order then made her really cry, rushing tears flowing quickly wet her clothes.
Then in the arms of his grandmother his heart opened to the fullest, spewing out sorrow and regret for his unfortunate destiny.
There was no word of satisfaction to cry, but Yuri fell asleep later after a few minutes of crying. In a room that he used to spend time alone his eyes closed, but occasionally the look on his face shriveled and returned to crying.
The pitying grandmother stared at a family photo where Yuri's parents were standing between Yuri, it was a photo at Junior High School graduation.
There seemed to be a smile on their faces even though they were small, making grandma smile.
Some time ago Yuri's uncle who is none other than her mother's sister took the initiative to invite Yuri to live with her family, but Yuri refused. Grandma also did not allow, she had already made the decision that Yuri would stay in the village with her.
But one day passed Yuri locked herself in her room, without eating or drinking. He himself was surprised to feel so sad that he lost his appetite, he was so lost that he was used to being left behind.
Sighing deeply granny tried to persuade Yuri, taking her out of the room even if it was just to sit in the living room. But Yuri was completely reluctant to do so, as if her body was in chains inside that room.
Tong Ting
The doorbell rang, Grandma immediately went to the front to open the door. A middle-aged man with a suit stellan stands right behind the door, introducing himself as a bank clerk who takes care of the savings of Yuri's late parents.
He just came to say his condolences and told about the savings that now belonged to Yuri, he was entitled to receive his savings book and could take his money whenever he wanted.
After the man's departure, Grandma gives Yuri her passbook, but Yuri seems to be unconcerned.
He did not even know if it was day or night, all day he spent sleeping and daydreaming until he knew how many days he had passed by such a situation.
At first grandma can understand Yuri's condition, but the longer she starts to worry because Yuri does not show the desire to live life.
"You've been skipping school for a long time, isn't that good for your future? besides don't you miss your friends?" asked grandma trying to open Yuri's heart.
"For what? mom is gone, no one is obliging me to have friends anymore" Yuri said without looking at grandma.
Of course grandma gasped in surprise, she did not expect the role of her mother is so important for Yuri to be able to decide Yuri's life.
Pouring tears grandma could not stand the darkness that enveloped Yuri.
A week later Yuri had not attended school, Imel who was worried about trying to look at grandma's house but the place was quiet with no one there. From a nearby neighbor he finds out they are going to town but has no idea what the reason is.
While trying to ask Susi mom, hoping that there was news she received an answer that Yuri was sick and cared for at her parents' house in the city, it made Imel even more worried.
Every break he who was used to eating lunch with Yuri in the park now only ate a pack of bread while wondering what happened to Yuri.
Curiosity and worry that was so disturbing that Imel tried to ask Yuri's parents' home address, from Susi's mother he managed to find her.
That weekend he who had made up his mind went to the train station to visit Yuri, the first time coming to the city apparently finding Yuri's house was not too difficult.
He immediately arrived and pressed the bell, a few minutes later the grandmother who opened the door seemed surprised at his arrival.
"You." said grandma.
"Hello grandma, I heard Yuri is sick. He hasn't been in school for a week, is the pain so bad?" tanya Imel could not mince words anymore.
Seemed later the grandmother showed a gloomy face, making Imel's mind think a no-no.
"Come in," ask grandma.
According to Imel, he gave fruits to his grandmother. Presenting a cup of drinking water Grandma invited to talk in the living room, her face was still sad with tears on her cheeks that were clearly visible.
"One day I got a call from the police who told me that Yuri's parents had an accident, I immediately called Yuri who was still at school and asked her for permission to go home so that we could leave immediately. When he arrived at the hospital where his parents were in our care it was too late," said the grandmother told him what really happened.
Imel flinched, feeling worse for Yuri and immediately uttered a condolence.
"He did look hard, only once did he cry but his heart broke more than anything. She lost her life purpose until she ended up in the room the whole time" she continued, telling Yuri of her current condition.
Of course Imel understood, no child could withstand the worst of grief.
"May I look at him?" ask Imel.
"Of course, I'd be even happier if you could make Yuri cheerful again."
Imel is not sure he can do it, Yuri is so secretive that he knows nothing about her. All this time they had always spent time together, but Yuri was like water in a shell that he could not guess.
If he thinks Yuri is the best friend he has ever met, Yuri wants to go into the club for him, make provisions every day for him, watch the game for him. Everything he did always made him smile happily, now when Yuri was sad he just did not know what could make Yuri smile again.
"Stupid!" murmured Imel cursed his completely useless self as a friend.
Suddenly tears flowed on his cheeks when he was standing before the door of Yuri's room, he should put on a cheerful face as usual and spread happiness so that Yuri felt better. But he was caught in the darkness.
