The Blue Swordsman

The Blue Swordsman
The brilliant eyes

Dusk had passed when Rajendra seemed to be walking down the mountain, at a time like this when himself there was a kind of happiness that appeared in his heart. He feels free, feels free, for him no one can be the best friend who can help and come to help other than himself.

Rajendra stopped walking his head looked up at the sky that seemed to start blackening, when he looked at the vast expanse of the sky decorated with millions of stars that he now felt dwarfed. Feeling small in the appeal of the universe, his mind then turned to ideas that would be done in the future to realize the orders of his teacher.

Rajendra is now endowed with wisdom that makes him able to think clearly, he now wants to be a human being who can bring good change in this country, or at least be a useful human being for others. He now realized how stupid he was when he was young, when his mind was still primitive at that time had a dream to be known to the world, by getting into the war scene and hoping to kill the enemy commander.

He now felt ashamed to realize his stupidity that now his mind had opened that basically to be known to people not by showing off strength but rather how the power can be used to help others and how he is with the power he has can make him recognized his existence. Because by being recognized by the crowd then he will be easier to bring others to a better change. There is no easy way to realize what her teacher ordered Rajendra.

When he saw a boulder under a banyan tree, he decided to sit down and rest his feet, leaning his body and looking around, he realized that no one else was around. A thing that has become commonplace for him, since childhood to adulthood can be said he has no friends.

Countless have tried to blend in with children his age but always they do not want to linger with him, something that sometimes makes him wonder. But for others there is an inexplicable reason that prevents them from liking Rajendra, there is an aura of evil in Rajendra that makes people feel uncomfortable being around him.

It was also realized right by his father, which is why his father was always rude and hard it was done by his father to try to eliminate the nature in Rajendra. A trait that can arise when angry or threatened, the savage nature of civilization is not familiar, the characteristic nature of ancient royal warriors.

Even if there are children his age who want to play and dare to fight when he is angry is only a girl named Andara. When Rajendra is angry, only Andara and her sister Utari will be able to relieve the anger. Those childhood memories momentarily made him re-energized, his tiredness had disappeared. He stood up and continued his journey.

He is now almost at a small village at the foot of the mountain, a small village that seems still a little inhabited only seen a number of houses, and, yam fields and rice fields that are far apart by wild grass. His steps stopped on a bridge over a small river, he heard the sound of water splashing around the narrow river, in sharpen his gaze trying to find out the source of the sound. Is that a beaver? Or maybe another animal? He sighed when he finally found the source of the sound he saw a little boy who seemed to be looking for a cork.

"What are you doing down there?" Rajendra asked kindly because he was happy to know that there were other people around.

The boy looked a little surprised then the little boy looked for the source of the voice when he saw Rajendra he seemed to smile and replied "Finding cork" while lifting a basket of woven bamboo showed the catch.

"Have you got a lot?" Rajendra asked again trying not to let go of his conversation with the boy.

"Not much, but I think it's enough to eat today"

"Can I have some, I'll pay you?"

"Sorry but this is not for sale" replied the boy while hugging his basket, a flash later he jumped to the riverbank and immediately ran as fast as a bow shot and instantly disappeared in the dark.

" Quick is also the run "Batin Rajendra praised the speed of the little boy. As he passed the small bridge he saw a beam of light in the distance, he wished the light had come from the house of a farmer. For several days he had slept under the stars, now he wished he could sleep in a proper place, even though only in a thatched roof he longed for the warmth of the hearth, even he misses simple food farmers, tubers or rice mixed with corn. Shown with all that then directed his steps towards the origin of the dim light.

The creeping plants appear to surround the remote gubug, the roof looks sloping and the walls need a lot of repair. When he tried to knock on the door his foot accidentally stepped on a dry tree branch the crackling of the fault seemed to be heard by the residents of the house.

"Who's there?" ask for a voice from inside the house.

Rajendra recognized the voice, the voice of the little boy he saw looking for fish in the river earlier, smiling he exclaimed "May I stay here tonight? I'll be gone in the morning"

There was a sound of steps approaching, the little boy opened the door and observed Rajendra carefully "May, please come in"

When entering it realized if the hut had been rickety, moonlight seemed to shine through the cracks in the roof and walls. He also sat on a mat made of woven bamboo, when he sat there was also a wind coming in from between the hollow walls.

The boy sat in front of Rajendra, smiling kindly he said

"Is father hungry? I heard you wanted a cork?"

Rajendra did not immediately answer that he seemed impressed when he could now see the boy clearly, his face and hair did look dirty but it had a character no fear or sadness was seen on the child's face. And the boy's eyes seemed to shine brilliantly like pearls that were purposely paired to his face, "beautiful eyes" amazed Rajendra inwardly. Seen from the glare of the boy's eyes emanated courage.

"Nothing" replied Rajendra quickly then he continued asking "how many years old are you? "

"Thirteen, you wanted my fish what now you still want?" The boy repeated his question.

"By" answered Rajendra briefly

"I also have a little corn rice do you want to eat?"

"I want to, sorry if it's troublesome" said Rajendra who was pleased with the warmth the boy offered.

"Please wait a minute" the boy stood up, he walked to the back and the door creaked. It seemed that the boy was in the kitchen because Rajendra heard the sound of a branch breaking and a flash of smoke filled the hut.

The boy appeared with a tray, placed the tray in front of Rajendra. In a short time Rajendra ate a dish that the host gave him a plate of corn rice with dried fried cork.

"That's right, thank you" Rajendra said, finishing the kid's cooking.

"Failure" replied the boy smiling as he was happy to make others happy.

"I want to thank the head of the household, if he has gone to bed" asked Rajendra who was a little surprised at the independence of the child in front of him.

"He's in front of you"

"You live here alone?" Rajendra asked in shock at the boy's answer.

"Yes.." Answer the boy.

A moment Rajendra was silent, creating a stiff silence. He asked, "And what is your name?"

"Silver"

"What is your daily work?"

"I planted corn and tubers in the back of the house, I also caught fish if the weather was good and the fish I caught enough I sold them in part" the boy explained.

As if confused by the circumstances he was experiencing now he just replied

"Oh yes" and went back to silence.

"Do you want to sleep now" asked Ranu breaking the silence.

"Yes I think so"

"Let me drive to the room" Ranu said as he stood directing Rajendra to the next room.

Rajendra entered the room and immediately buried his body in a straw mattress that looked worn, the hum of the sound of insects reassuring, he immediately fell asleep.
