The Blue Swordsman

The Blue Swordsman

It was like a typical day in the summer, the sun shining so hot it whipped the heat to the earth. Very few times like that people who want to go out of the house if not for an important business.

At the southern end of the country there is a plateau surrounded by mountains. Right in the middle of the plains there is a small village, the village whose inhabitants are mostly farmed it looks beautiful like the state of other villages.

Something that looks to make the village different is the existence of a large enough building at the back of the village, the building that almost jutted into the forest looks magnificent, and the, the size is too big to be called a house but a little smaller to be called a castle. The building was surrounded by fences and entrance gates, too luxurious to be occupied by an ordinary farmer.

In front of the building there is a smaller building that looks like a hall, in the hall there are some people who are gathering, someone appears to be sitting and who is circling in front of him. Other people will likely only see them as ordinary people, just ordinary people, but people in the village still recognize that the figure who was sitting at that time the center of the semicircle of people who gathered was the previous King, Prabu Widyatmaka.

Since the defeat in the war that occurred some time ago, he was expelled from his palace and chose to resign to the village where his ancestors lived he brought his whole family and some people who became his trust, he said, some of the soldiers decided to remain loyal and escort the King even though it was no longer in power, the loyal soldiers mixed with the natives and settled in the village known as Sentani.

Although only wearing simple clothes, without the robe of greatness and crown worn still the aura of authority emanated in Prabu Widyatmaka. The people who were currently surrounding him were not random people, the thick-bearded burly figure to the left of the king was Patih Lasmana, who was the one with a thick beard, there is no one in this country who does not know or at least hear the story of the courage and greatness of the Patih. To the right of Prabu Widyatmaka is the Duke of Pradana, a name known to people as someone who is endowed with high intelligence and wisdom is a figure who became an advisor to the kingdom of Bhawana while King Widyatmaka still led the kingdom.

They seem to be engaged in a serious conversation..

"Have you heard about the rumour that is currently spreading in the middle of the population?" Patih Lasmana asked, interrupting the King who was talking to his advisor.

"What do you mean about that ancient youth and prophecy?" Raja Widyat answered and asked while straightening his seat facing the Patih. For a moment he looked at his Advisor and said.

"What do you think?"

The Duke of Pradana momentarily fell silent as if he was thinking he was looking at the faces around him then he looked at the face of the King and said.. "His Majesty, from what I know about the ancient prophecy, and if what I heard about the young man is true then it is likely that the issue could become a reality"

"Then if what you say is true where is he now, duke of Pradana?"

"It is difficult to ascertain his existence, but if indeed the figure of the young man is a person in the Prophecy sooner or later he will be reunited with him"

"His Majesty, do we need one of us to look for him?" Sela Patih Lasmana.

The King turned to his Patih, then looked at his advisor as if looking for an answer "It seems unnecessary, said Duke Lasmana I think there is a truth, and if you already know the name of the young man Patih ku?"

"I think his name is Rajendra Baginda" replied the Patih steady.

Elsewhere in a cave in the middle of the jungle Rajendra had successfully completed all his training. The results of all the exams and all the knowledge taught to Guru Mahesa are very visible from the major changes in the Physical and Inner Rajendra. His body was more flexible and his eyes were sharper but the glare of his eyes shone quietly, indicating that his rude nature had been eroded by the forging that his teacher had done. Rajendra now appears to be resting in front of his teacher himself just passed the last test required by his teacher.

Mahesa looks at Rajendra, the teacher is trying to compare Rajendra who is now resting in front of him with the figure of a young man who feels savage when first met first. After being satisfied with the changes that had happened to Rajendra, Mahesa said,

"Now that you deserve this sword, do you remember the first time you held it, the light is gone in your hand right?, Now try to hold it" while thrusting the sword, Mahesa seemed to sharpen her gaze as if something she was expecting would be seen.

Rajendra approached, he took the sword from his teacher's hand, when he grasped the sword with both hands in front of his face as soon as the sword began to glow initially the white light slowly reddened and faded into a bright blue color, the light was getting brighter as if Rajendra's entire body was enveloped in that light. The blue light of the sword gradually disappeared as if absorbed entirely into Rajendra's body.

Mahesa was pleased to see the color of light emerging from the sword, without Rajendra knowing it was blue that the teacher hoped would appear. Mahesh understood the sword well, it was as if it chose its owner and the color that emerged from the Lightning sword described the power that its owner could obtain, the white color was the smallest, and the color that came out of it, the red color gives greater power and the blue color is the color that will give the entire magic of the Lightning sword to its owner. Mahesa was satisfied to see the blue light, she felt happy because she knew the task was over.

"You succeeded my student, my duty is over" Mahesa said.

"What does teacher mean?" Rajendra asked as if catching the giraffe his teacher was leaving.

"I have waited a long time to see the blue light of the Lightning sword, and today you have shown it to me, meaning that my work in this world has been completed.." Mahesa explained.

Rajendra had not had time to fully understand the words of his teacher suddenly lightning sounded snatching. His teacher is seen walking out of the cave, Rajendra walks after him "Wait for the teacher what does the teacher mean, where is the teacher going?"

Without answering his student's question the teacher continued to walk out, when he arrived outside Rajendra shocked because the sky turned dark, there was a vortex of clouds that formed a full circle. Those flashes came from that cloud vortex. Rajendra was more confused when his teacher walked straight to meet directly towards the vortex. When Mahesa turned around she said goodbye to Rajendra.

"My disciple I must go, the sword is now yours there is a great power that you now have use it wisely, you are still young go thou wanderth all over the land, study this world and bring peace to this country".

Instantly the lightning seemed to grab onto the body of his body disappeared as the sky returned bright and the swirling black clouds disappeared. Rajendra does not know if his Master, Master Mahesa is the figure of the King told in the Legend of the Lightning Sword, his soul transformed into an old figure who came down to earth to pass the sword on to Rajendra.

Rajendra was just speechless looking at the place where his teacher disappeared as if hoping that a pleasant old figure would appear again. He lowered his head, Implanted both every word his teacher spoke and he was determined to realize his teacher's orders.
