The Blue Swordsman

The Blue Swordsman
The Lost Mountain

Currently the main road connecting Wiyati village with other villages is the most crowded road in the season like this. The road runs from the east, winding through a plain that in proverbs is described as "hilly-nosed

the hill". Like the stakes marking the border, the road traverses an endless mountain range. Travelers emerging from other villages used to look into the river valley that flows through the village of Wiyati, and there they were often surprised to see a fairly large village.

That afternoon Rajendra and Ranu seemed to be walking on a crowded street with people who had their own interests. On the other hand, the road is seen a pedati cart full of produce, so full that it needs to be pulled by two cows. Ranu who had just this time passed a highway could not hide his admiration for the crowd on the road they passed.

The previous day when Riswana had said the place where Atmik Fire was located they immediately rushed to the village of Wiyati. After making preparations and plans at the house of Adanu Rajendra was saying goodbye and that night also planned to leave immediately. Adanu let go of them with a speech in the form of a promise "Call us whenever you need help, we are always ready and there for you" he said with full earnestness. Rajendra who was pleased with the remark replied with a steady nod.

That night they immediately flew through the Birama forest, because of the considerable distance Ranu even fell asleep on Riswana's back. Realizing that the night is late, the Atmics slow down to give Rajendra and Ranu a chance to rest on the way. That's what delayed their time a little, until dawn almost before they went down on a hill. It's too conspicuous if they continue on such a journey as the day starts to light. Finally Rajendra and Ranu decided to walk while the Atmik immediately eliminate his form.

Their journey is now a little more to the village of Wiyati, they had asked someone who said only need to cross a hill to get to the village.

"Stay across that hill and we'll get to the destination, are you tired?" Rajendra said pointing at a hill that was already visible in front of them.

"So it's close, I've always loved taking teacher trips, so I never feel tired" Ranu replied lying.

Seeing her sweat and heavy breathing Rajendra smiled,

"We're gonna take a break at that front shop!" Rajendra set his sights on the shops that stood lined up on the road to the hill.

Ranu simply nodded his head in response to the words of his teacher. Rajendra then chose a shop that was not too crowded, he took an empty seat and sat waiting for the waiter to deliver their order.

"Please master" said the waiter who may also be the owner of the shop when it comes to delivering their orders.

"Yes, thank you" replied Rajendra.

"It looks like you're not residents around here?" Ask the owner of the stall while paying attention to both of them.

"Indeed, we came from far away to see the magic in the wiyati village" Rajendra replied pretending.

"So you mean to prove people's stories about the craters around the village?" The owner of the stall then took a seat next to Rajendra

"Yes, if it's not wrong the village is close, right from here?" Rajendra shifted to give place.

"Yes the village is just a hill away from here, but unfortunately it is too late if you come now!" Answer the shop owner.

"You mean" asked Rajendra who was a little confused.

"The craters around the village are no longer burning" replied the shop owner, who stood up because a customer called him, "I'm sorry I have to go" he continued.

Rajendra who felt like he wanted to know more about what he heard many times looked at the store owner, but because he was too busy serving customers, Rajendra finally abandoned his intention to ask more.

"Did you hear what that guy said?" Rajendra asked the Atmics who did not show his form.

"Yes, even though we don't yet know the meaning of all that!" Answer Bayurajata.

"Then is it possible if it happened because the Atmic Fire was already liberating?" Rajendra was worried.

"It seems not, because I still feel that the Fire Atmic is in the village" replied Riswana.

"We'd better hurry" Rajendra sped up his pace, feeling impatient to find out what had really happened in the village of Wiyati.

Just before dusk came they had reached the edge of Wiyati village. The expanse of fields and rice fields appear to grow green and fertile, seen some farmers who appear to be cleaning their field equipment. It seemed that the time had come for them to return home, Rajendra approached the farmers to ask. Then the farmers directed Rajendra to go to the village chief's house,

"The head of the village will gladly accept you, and it is likely that he will tell you everything you want to know" replied one of the peasants, the others seem to nod in agreement.

Rajendra then walked following the direction of the farmer, he has now arrived at a house that is shown.

"Excuse me.." Rajendra half yelled as he saw the front of the house empty.

"Yes..." There was an answer from inside the house, a flash later the thin-looking middle-aged man with his thin face greeted them.

"What is the father of Wiyati village chief" asked Rajendra while bowing respectfully.

"Oh my name is Dhipa, what can I help you with?" Reply the man graciously introduced himself.

Rajendra explained that he had come from a faraway place to see the village's famous eternal fire wonder. The head of the village invited them to enter his house. After hearing Rajendra's explanation he then said,

"The fire has now been extinguished" Dhipa looked outwards.

"Why could that be?" Ask Rajendra with a serious face.

Dhipa then told what he knew, in the village of Wiyati there was a small mountain that was always active. Residents called the mountain Prabatunu, although the volcano was volcanic but rarely erupted and caused damage to the village. Precisely because of the mountain, the area around it becomes fertile because the soil is rich in minerals. Residents also believe that the craters that appear around it are part of the mountain's lava.

But some time ago when it was the night of the full moon, residents heard clearly the sound of a very loud lightning flash. Some residents thought that it was the sound of the mountain erupting, to make sure that many residents went out of their homes to look towards Prabatunu mountain. They then realized that it was not the sound of a mountain erupting, a moment later a loud rumbling of the ground followed. The ground shook as if an earthquake was about to tear down the village, terrified residents flocked to leave the village to save themselves.

The shaking of the land subsided, the residents who had not realized what had happened were gradually returning to their homes. When the morning came the new residents realized that Prabatatunu mountain had disappeared, leaving a deep and wide hole. It was as if a great power had uprooted the mountain all the way to its roots.

Rajendra is currently on the edge of a large hole from the former Prabatunu mountain. The Atmics who saw it did not believe what they were witnessing. In each heart the same question is kept.

"What really happened??"
