The Blue Swordsman

The Blue Swordsman
Initial Step

Smoke was seen soaring above the village, some houses were burned. The situation was so chaotic, cries for help, groans of pain and cries of babies mixed into one. Seen by Rajendra some of the corpses of farmers along the road to the village, Rajendra felt his blood boiling at the sight he saw now. What a real picture of an act of cruelty that is not compassionate, he does not believe that the village that was once so peaceful is now turned into a stage of slaughter.

Taking a faster step Rajendra has now reached the center of the village, his first glance is on some female captives who appear to be tied behind a herd of criminals. Faces full of fear and pain mixed together so that one could see from the captives bound by the herd of criminals, Rajendra had to act fast.

He began to estimate the number and strength of the enemy he was facing, interpreting where the possible attack was coming from. After noticing him estimate there are 30 or maybe more because it does not rule out the possibility there are still other herds that are hiding besides the horde that is now being faced.

Everything looked hard-muscled and the abomination emanated clearly from their faces. He considered the herd of criminals who faced him now looks like a primitive tribe they must have stayed sedentary , robbing and looting the villages they passed through was their way of obtaining the food and goods they needed.

"Who are you?, how dare you stand in our way!" Shouting a voice from behind, the screaming person stood haughtily on the axe spears near the captives who were being tied up.

"You don't know me?" Rajendra said steadily, while walking calmly approaching the herd of criminals.

"What's the importance of knowing you? finish him!" Shouted the person again while issuing the order, it seemed that the person was the leader of the herd of criminals.

Instantly the attack and the screams of the criminals hit Rajendra.

"Awrk.. " The cry of the first criminal who attacked Rajendra was as if a boulder had stuck his throat. The criminal's attack was easily avoided Rajendra, his movement was too fast so no one realized the weapons used to attack Rajendra had been successfully seized.

Rajendra's body bounces from one villain to another, and each time he stops the person he is after is always uprooted, seeing some of his friends so easily killed by the enemy he faces, the unity of the herd of criminals began to falter. Confusion and fear permeate their minds, panic makes the herd of criminals lose the ability to fight, do not waste the opportunity Rajendra continues to launch his attack.

Without giving a chance to escape Rajendra finish them off one by one. The leader of the herd of criminals just kept silent to see one by one his men killed, himself as if he could not believe what he saw, how could his herd be slaughtered by one person he did not recognize.

His gaze was momentarily fixed on the sword that was on Rajendra's back, it seemed he knew about the sword he felt he had seen a sword that was still neatly sheathed behind Rajendra's back. When he finally remembered if it was the Legendary sword he had heard of, it was,

"Is it possible that this person is the owner of the Lightning Sword?" He said in his heart, it seemed too late to realize the leader of the herd. Because that second also Rajendra was right in front of him and launched a crushing blow to his body, so fast Rajendra movement that he could not do anything again.

Rajendra then swept his eyes around the place just to make sure if all the herd of criminals were not left, even if someone managed to escape it is unlikely they will return. After breaking the bonds of the women captives, he also eyed the fire that burned several houses, the survivors appeared to start springing from hiding places and help extinguish the fire.

The survivors seemed to be in disbelief as the few female captives who had been tied up told of all the events they had seen, they only looked as if they could not believe what they had heard. When they believed the story, gratitude and gratitude could no longer be hidden, they crowded in front of Rajendra and lowered their heads showing respect and gratitude . Rajendra humbly brushed off all that respect by saying,

"I'm just doing my duty"

The humility of the young man who had helped them further magnified the admiration of the villagers. Seeing the confusion of some of the people who look at the way they look around with a feeling of despair, Rajendra also tried to comfort and encourage them, after seeing the confidence of the people of Rajendra then told them to work together to clean up the mess.

Happy with the presence of the hero figure, the residents also seemed excited, they then worked together to clean up the state of the village.

Some residents buried the bodies, some others cleared the ruins, when the sky began to darken the population as if they could clear everything so quickly. They then made a bonfire in the middle of the village and gathered, holding a small ceremony to thank the gods who were still willing to save them, some residents took the initiative to take food that was still in his house. In the midst of the atmosphere and gratitude someone asked "What if they come back?"

Things suddenly became quiet and full of questions.

"They won't come back, even if they come back I will make you ready to face it" said Rajendra breaking the silence with his steady voice.

Hearing Rajendra's confident words the villagers became calm, there was a kind of spirit they could feel when they were near the figure of the young man who became the hero. Ranu who was next to Rajendra was staring in awe at the teacher's face, in the reddish rays of fire, his teacher's face looked so beautiful as the figure of a god he often imagined when he heard people's stories.

Drowning in a sense of admiration, novelty Ranu can not hide, his eyes look glassy radiate pride he can know and have a teacher like Rajendra.

Without Rajendra realizing something he has done today has made himself admired and recognized by many people. The thing that once made him hesitate to carry out his teacher's orders, it turned out to be realized in a simple way, which was to use the power he had to protect the weak and oppressed. By continuing to stand on the path he has done today slowly he will be able to carry out the orders of his teacher. What Rajendra is doing today is the first step for him to fight all the evil above the country.

The night was getting late and the residents dispersed themselves back home to rest, after a very tiring day. Rajendra and Ranu are seen walking in tandem towards his house, along the inexhaustible journey Ranu praises his teacher. Some residents still had time to look at the hero until his figure was further away and disappeared in the middle of the night darkness.
