The Ace Of Disasters

The Ace Of Disasters
Episode 9

”Alright, I've closed the wound. You're gonna be fine. But, why do your eyes both look swollen and swollen? Has something happened?”

Ivonne watched Ayhner and Aciel. He looked astonished because simultaneously, both eyes of this father and son were like they had just cried over something. He who does not know what the problem is between the two of them will not understand what they just passed together.

”It's okay. We just went to the kitchen and found thick smoke everywhere.” Aciel tried to cover up the facts. And apparently, Ayhner who was in bed did not want Ivonne to know that she had just cried in front of Chloe's grave.

”Hm? Weird.” Ivonne started to get suspicious and looked at the two of them in surprise. ”... When did the smoke appear? And why when I came back, the smoke was no more.”

Unable to bear the questions and deductions from Ivonne, Aciel immediately pushed him away saying, ”You better go and rest. Your face looks very pale. I don't want you to get sick. Goodbye to.” Aciel immediately closed the door as soon as Ivonne had walked out of her room. He looked relieved and immediately sighed.

”Why don't you go too? I want to rest here?” ayhner said, distracting her.

”You want to expel your own father? Look at this, I've made you meat porridge.” Aciel immediately walked back to him and then picked up a tray of a bowl of porridge that was still warm.

Ayhner felt that there was something unusual here. Why would Aciel make him porridge? When he was sick, only the butler wanted to make him meat porridge like this. Other than the butler who made it, Ayhner would be suspicious of the people who proved it to be porridge. Because according to him, only artificial butlers are worth eating.

”You just possessed a ghost. It's really your own making?” Ayhner tried to make sure.

Aciel replied with a sumringah face, ”Of course. When else would I make you porridge like this? Eat.” he replied while thrusting.

Ayhner felt strange with Aciel's delighted expression as if Aciel had just gained Grace even Ayhner was more goosebumps than usual. He was used to the old Aciel. Even he felt better when Aciel did not care about him. Perhaps this is a miracle of someone who is able to change his nature in just a few hours despite having to pass through a bloody shortcut.

”Stop smiling and behave as usual. You make me uncomfortable!”

”Why?” Aciel blinked astonished. ”... This is the real Dad. At least only when Chloe was still around.”

Instantly Ayhner fell silent, holding back what he was about to say. No need to be surprised, Ayhner is always shut up if someone talks about something related to his mother. Aciel has been considered an atmosphere destroyer because his mouth had no brakes to stop. And always say what comes to his mind.

Can't he keep one's feelings even for his own son? Does he need to pick up needles and thread to sew his mouth?

”I beg you, go now. I'm doing fine. I want to sleep.”

Ayhner quickly covered herself with her blanket, letting Aciel still hold the bowl of porridge she had previously wanted to give her. Aciel's expression instantly looked disappointed. He could not understand Ayhner's feelings. Unlike Chloe who was able to comfort him and make him laugh. However, if Ayhner was able to understand the guilt that Aciel experienced was greater than the loss of Ayhner five years ago until now, the two might be able to get close to each other.

Aciel sighed while putting his bowl back. ”... Forgive Dad. I made you like this. I'll be responsible for you. I'm gonna find the guy who hurt you like this. You rest.”

His hand touched the blanket that Ayhner used. After she won herself over, Aciel immediately walked away leaving her room. His steps were so calm and did not disturb the ears. For a moment, he stopped to say something stuck in his mouth. However, it turned out that his fear was greater than his courage. In the end, he kept walking away leaving her until he closed the door from the front.

”Already expected, surely something has happened between you and Ayhner right?”

Ivonne waited beside the door. However, it was not so surprising that Aciel who had just come out of the room with a heavy heart. Ivonne looked at him seriously while folding her hands. The dark room, added to the tense atmosphere that was happening between the two of them.

Hicks,....

”Hey, Ivonne! Please sew my mouth that can't be silent. Why do I always say things that are not true?”

”Ih! Stop crying! I told you, your face is so ugly when you cry! Besides, you're crying because of Chloe, right?”

Aciel nodded yes.

Ivonne sighed then rubbed the space between her eyebrows. ”... I have always hated your nature like this. Just talk! Always say what you think! But it's better than lying to yourself. You'll know how painful it is rather than hurting others with your reckless remarks.”

”But, what is reckless? Am I that bad?” Aciel approached and spoke right in front of Ivonne's face to the point of upsetting her.

”Stop talking before I actually sew your mouth!”

Arcrey Mansion

”Hei, Sen. Does Monster still have a human heart or taste that can deliver it to death?”

”It depends Young master. A monster that has a human heart and taste, may be a human child who does not accept himself has changed. Or maybe he has a grim past that carved his wounds until now.”

”Why can he be like that?”

”Maybe because of his guilt Sir. He had a trauma that could not be treated until now. But, by the way Sir, why are you asking this?”

Gill speechless. For a moment he tried to think about it while staring out the window that had a view of the blue moonlight. He had a rose garden whose scent smelled all the way out of the courtyard. Inside his mansion, he only lived alone along with a few servants who took care of his house including Sen who became a butler.

”I almost killed a child. He looked so miserable that he wasn't even afraid if I killed him right then and there. The wound he suffered was greater than his own sense of death.”

”Then what will you do for him Sir? You'll still kill him?”

”No.” replied Gill a moment later. ”... I was thinking of a way to apologize to her so that the incident would not add to her internal injuries. But, what should I do to such a small child?”

”What is his age? 10 years or more?”

”I can't count that much. Even high, I don't remember very much. If it's like this, I just want to ask you one thing. What do kids usually like?”

Sen looked at her confusedly. ”... I don't know what that kid is like. But, usually children like sweet foods and really like to have fun. Maybe you can ask the boy what he wants and fulfill all his wishes.”

Gill looked surprised to hear this answer as if, she had found her way out. ”... Is correct. Maybe that way can be done.”
