The Ace Of Disasters
Episode 13's
The Queen Dog Group was a group of troops that possessed abilities. A scientist adds their power to exterminate the human species that were at that time messing up in their place. Aciel also became one of them even he was the captain of the group.
”Captain! We found traces of human species!” a young man walked up to Aciel who was standing behind a table, examining every piece of paper that had been piled up on the table. The large room was quite dark because it was only illuminated by one lamp. Coupled with their black clothes which made them even more invisible.
”What did you find?”
The young man stopped and explained, ”A month ago, precisely at the mulberry hotel on April 21, an explosion occurred that caused one room there to be destroyed. Hotel guards there said one man in his 30s and one boy in his teens entered the room at different times. Then not long after the explosion happened and the two people who were in the room just disappeared.”
”Wait!” Aciel suddenly cut off the conversation. ”... A teenage boy? What's he like? You have the picture?”
The young man checked the documents he was carrying. He remembered that he was given a photo by someone while taking this document from the hotel. ”Ah, meet. There was a photographer taking pictures when it happened. He said he only saw this boy who came alone.”
The young man showed me a photo of the prints. The photo looked like a picture of a regular room with some hotel workers busy preparing everything necessary. Precisely on a wide staircase leading to the top floor, Aciel was so surprised to realize that the child in this photo was Ayhner.
”Cih! Supercharged!” Aciel instantly squeezed the photo while holding back her frustration.
”Wait for captain, there are still some other reports.”
The young man reopened the pile of paper he was carrying however, he instantly stopped as Aciel said, ”Enough! I'll read it myself. Just put it on the table.”
He's a little surprised. Immediately the young man immediately put his paper on the table then asked, ”Is something the captain needs?”
Aciel replied a moment later, ”No. This is all enough to explain it.”
The young man looked confused. In the end he simply replied, ”Alright. I'll be leaving soon.”
A short while after the young man left, the room again became quiet. Aciel, leaning against his desk, sat back on his chair, staring at the pile of paper that his subordinates had brought. Of course he was still surprised to see his own son involved in danger let alone he never knew about this incident.
He took back some of the paper he had seen earlier and read it at a glance. Obviously everything is written here. Starting from the attack of zombies in the Hanley Mansion to the brutal attack carried out by zombies. And then this happened, again the attack happened in the Hanley mansion. The perpetrator of the brutal assault was reported to have been killed by a boy.
Aciel is not convinced that the boy who killed him is Ayhner. He read it back and then, he was fixated on the words written there. ”Child who killed him, able to heal wounds in an instant.”
Instantly, Aciel immediately panicked. I can't believe what he just saw. The boy in this report, it may be true that he is Ayhner. For a long time, Aciel and Ivonne have kept the monsterization of Ayhner's past secret. If only the secret were exposed, everyone would definitely hunt him down soon!
Aciel quickly ran out of the room. Just as he opened the door, he was already greeted with a line of troops who had been waiting for him since. Of course he was curious about what happened to them. He didn't tell them to gather here.
One of the women named Hyacinth walked up to him and explained, ”Don't waste your time just to read that useless report captain. We found an abnormal monster from the North. At least, part of the settlement had already been destroyed by him. Tell me what your orders are now, captain.”
Quickly, Aciel's originally shocked expression turned serious. He put on his robe back and said, ”Of course. Destroy human species that make a mess.”
It was not enough to see the scenery during the day if he had to spend the day on the second-floor balcony. He didn't want anything to get in the way of his sight because of that, he decided to climb up the roof of his house while looking at the free-moving people out there.
He could smell the food eaten by them. He is also able to hear what their hearts are. But he cannot change their thinking.
”It seems, your decision remains the same.” said someone standing behind him.
”You can't leave me alone huh, Gill?” greet Ayhner without looking at her.
”Since the beginning I have been watching you.” Gill paused for a moment. ”... I've heard it from everyone. Said you killed Lou at Hanley's mansion and connected your friend's severed hands.”
”I already know, someone did see it.”
”The news has spread even to the entire army of queen dogs. If everyone knew you weren't human, you'd know what the consequences would be.”
”Of course. I'm not a baby to be warned. I'm gonna let everybody come after me and kill me. I'll be fine. Besides, I have to pay for what I did to them.”
Ayhner's words made Gill remember something. He had also killed many humans by utilizing his time manipulation. He did not know how many human lives had died at his hands when those people had the opportunity to be forgiven for all his mistakes. Supposedly, he was the target for killing their family members. Ayhner is just trying to save people by killing the human species. If everyone knew about this, would it be possible for them to forgive him or at least let him live for a few years?
”I have a message for you. I just saw your future.”
”No need to be told! I will live what I will face later.” slowly Ayhner turned to Gill with his face that looks very sad However, still trying to hold back his crying. ”... Isn't that cheating? Tell or see your own future when everyone does not know what they are going through a minute later?”
Gill was silent for a moment. He really couldn't have expected it. At a time when everyone was curious about his future and always asked him if his decision today was right. It seems that all of that is very contrary to the answer given by Ayhner.
Is he so desperate?
”I'll keep saying it. Do not go North or go to a place inhabited by rich people. You'll die if you keep going there.”
Ayhner remained silent for a while. He stood up and replied, ”Alright. I accept your challenge. I am a firm believer in destiny. But I can also oppose it. I will go there and refuse my death. I will feel humbled if I reject this challenge.”
Ayhner jumps from the top of her house and disappears from Gill's sight. This time he had made a mistake for a stubborn person like Ayhner. He would probably kneel him from behind but, the Queen Dog troops were moving there to kill the crazed monsters in the Northern region.
”Sen, what should I do now?”
Sen stood not far behind Gill earlier just to wait for her to ask him. ”... Do what you want. What you did today is not wrong and not easy.”
