”Ayhner, wakeup. It's Mother.”
”Ahh, Mom? Is Mom still here?”
Ayhner was slightly delirious as she was half asleep. She saw the shadow of Ivonne sitting next to her as her long-dead mother. Even when her eyes were completely open, Ayhner clasped Ivonne's hand to the point of surprise.
Ivonne had initially let him. However, seeing her wanting to hug him, made him reflexively slap her face softly until he woke her up.
At first, Ayhner thought Ivonne was stroking her cheek. But slowly, the pain appeared so that it made him aware instantly.
”Ahh! Auntie! Why are you here?! Disturb my dreams only!” ayhner said a little.

He sat on the sofa thinking about it. Maybe he doesn't know much about what Ayhner has been through all this time. He never told his life story. And without knowing, he had placed great trust in someone he had just known like Eldric.

The waffles in that place said they were delicious. Even on weekends, people started flooding the place to buy waffles. However, since today was not a weekend, only a few people visited there.
Ayhner himself had never felt it. He used to ask Aciel to bring home-made waffles. However, he always reasoned to forget or be too busy. So, he had never tasted it unless he made a move now before people started fulfilling it.

Ayhner's face immediately beamed, while running towards the house of the waffle seller. When he was about to leave the backrest on the pay phone, he had a chance encounter with a young man who was the same age as Eldric. Whether he was too slow to respond or just hallucinated, the figure of the young man instantly disappeared without ever since. As if, time had stopped for a moment to let the man pass through.
”I've never hallucinated like this. Or maybe, that was just my feeling huh?” think Ayhner. He did not realize, a young man he had seen was watching him from behind the walls of the hotel building.
