The Ace Of Disasters
Episode 7's
”AAAHHH!”
Eldric suddenly shouted inside his room. It was as if he had just had a nightmare that felt very real. He did not expect that he was currently in his own room. A while ago, he was at a waffle vendor's house. I don't know what he did, he immediately grabbed his forehead and found neither the hole nor the hole marks that were there. He could only sigh after what he saw turned out to be not really real.
”Wait! What time is it?!”
Eldric stared at the clock on the table and it was 10 p.m. Instantly he became confused. Whether today he was awake or he had been asleep all day because no one woke him up. He was not sleepy at all either. He began to think the second option was that he actually slept all day and did not meet Ayhner at all. Probably the result of the incident on the cathedral bridge. After rescuing Ayhner from there, she became unable to sleep due to her curiosity.
”It feels like I just saw a Monster that seems very similar to humans even difficult to distinguish. He can even stop time. I was confused whether it was reality or not. If not mistaken, the blue-eyed man also said that Ayhner is actually a very dangerous species of Monster. But, to me Ayhner just looks like a 14-year-old boy who is always looking to die.”
Throughout the night, Eldric kept thinking without opening his window. In fact, there is a blue moonlight out there that will dazzle his view. As well as a sprinkling of stars similar to refined sugar when sprinkled on a dark chocolate cake.
”Jam so far, is there anyone else who is still awake? I can't sleep today. Don't let my sleep time be switched.” Eldric pulled his blanket back and tried to take a nap. However, his mind still collided making it difficult to sleep again.
On the other hand, Ayhner's body slammed into the wall to make a loud bang. Gill was still strangling him with all her might. Will not let go until Ayhner is killed in his hands.
”You won't be able to run again.”
Ayhner grinned as if answering Gill's lightning-fast speech. ”... This all happened because Luois asked for it right? I realize you all want to kill me because I killed all your species. I don't care if I get killed right now. But, I will never calm down before these species die. Kill me the way you like as long as my wish is fulfilled.”
”If that's what you want then, my wish is to kill you!”
Gill clutched Ayhner's neck so tightly that it made it difficult to breathe. However, Ayhner's involuntary teardrop falling to the ground suddenly reminded him of something. The thing he never wanted to reveal again had made Gill loosen his grip. And slowly, his hand slipped and let the dying Ayhner lean on his body.
”Mom and Dad won't be mad at you. We will continue to love you.”
It was a bloody incident that ended with the death of his Father and Mother in his own hands. Although both of them admitted not being angry with him, still the feeling of guilt still lingered in his mind. This time he remembered what way he had done to kill them and what tools he had used to do so. Truly, it was something he had never wanted to remember all this time.
”So, that's what keeps you from killing me?”
Gill looked surprised after she heard this voice. Unexpected by him, it turns out Ayhner still has his consciousness even though he had been suffocating for a while. ”... How do you know?”
”From this close distance, I can hear your heart and I can see the shadows of the past being played back by your brain. So, it was easy for me to understand this feeling. But, not only you who have a dark past.”
”My mother was killed by one of the monsters. Then I killed the monster. But stupidly, the monster even lowered his illness on me so that it turned me from an ordinary human into a monster like this. I think because I already know all your past and you're the same as me, I have to say what I know. And that's the reason why I kill so many human species.”
Ayhner broke away from Gill and leaned against the wall of the building behind her. ”What else do you want to know from me? Luois asked you to come. He must have had a lot of desire. If he wants you to kill me, just do it. After I think about it, it doesn't matter if I die now.”
Gill clucked in annoyance as she walked in the other direction, ”That's stupid! I better just go!”
However, Gill suddenly stopped stepping when she found Luois who was standing before her and blocked her. Luois's expression looked ordinary. However, he is actually very angry because his desire to kill Ayhner is not fulfilled.
”What's Gill? You didn't kill him? Usually you are very reliable in killing others without being noticed.”
”Who said that I would follow you all? I don't want anyone to be able to command me at will.”
Luois was silent for a moment while pulling a smile. ”... Alright. I'll do it myself.”
Quickly, Luois took out a weapon from inside her robe then launched a bullet that moved so quickly that it was not even able to be seen by ordinary eyes. However, Gill could easily stop the bullet before it penetrated Ayhner's head. Most impressively, Ayhner looks to avoid her altogether as if she believes Gill will protect her or indeed she herself intends to die.
”Your time-stopping ability is indeed very great. But, let me show you, hands faster than eyes.”
Suddenly, Ayhner's side abdomen is injured by a bullet shot that came out of nowhere. He was shocked to see his own blood dripping onto the ground and the pain slowly growing all the way to the brain. Quickly, Ayhner immediately spilled a mouthful of blood from within his mouth and fell to his knees while holding onto his wound.
”How does it feel when your life will be uprooted in a few more minutes, Ayhner? If only you would obey my wish for you to be my pet, I wouldn't kill you.”
Ayhner grinned and replied, ”It doesn't feel bad than having to suffer with you.”
”You really don't fear death, huh?” Luois gave a pause. ”... Well, Gill. Why don't you do anything? Didn't you try to protect her?”
Gill chose silence and did not answer. Then he walked to the back to Ayhner while taking off his suit. Up in front of him, he knelt down and wrapped his suit around Ayhner's stomach to stop the bleeding. Ayhner thought that Gill would hasten his death. However, it turned out that he preferred to save her and make her suffer even more with her injuries.
Gill briefly turned to Luois to say, ”... You've been wrong all along. I just want to test it. How much his desire to kill the human species and how vengeful he was after he turned into a monster.”
