The Ace Of Disasters

The Ace Of Disasters
Episode 18's

”Young master. Time to eat.”

Sen walked into Gill's room. In his hand, there was a tray of dishes filled with fresh red meat that was still covered with blood. For a long time, Sen served all members of the Arcrey family. He would do anything even to kill someone and take his meat for his Master's meal.

Gill was seen sitting on her bed looking out the window. Time shows at 3 am. Usually Gill becomes unable to sleep when she accidentally awakens. He's usually like this because he's hungry. Every night without a full moon, Sen goes on a manhunt. He's after people who hang around at night. Usually, they were the ones who would commit crimes.

Sen tried not to torture his victims by cutting off his head with a sharp knife and movements that must be fast. After his victim was killed, he took some of his meat and served it on a plate to his master.

”Today, I get a good meat.” Sen placed his saucer on Gill's thigh, which was still sitting.

Gill looked at the human flesh before him. He was silent for a while as if he was thinking about something. His gaze also looked empty despite his hand moving to grab the fork and the knife placed on it.

”What's the young master? You don't want to eat it?” sen asked who was beginning to realize Gill's gloomy expression as she was about to eat her food.

”Does anyone else love him more than his father?”

Gill's question made Sen feel confused. What does he mean? Who is being talked about by him?

”Are you talking about the monster attack yesterday morning? Or about a boy who is against his future?”

Gill ate the meat and chewed it slowly. Moments after she finished swallowing it, she replied, ”Ya. I'm talking about the kid. His future changed. Perhaps, because of his father's affection which is slowly being addressed. That person told the truth in the past then disbanded those who wanted to take advantage of it.”

”I don't really understand what you're talking about. Why can someone change their future?”

Gill looked at Sen with her sharp gaze. "... Because of his past. One cannot keep looking up. Sometimes they have to look down. I mean, learn from their past mistakes. That will change his future.”

”Ahh, so. You seem to be interested in young Master Leory. Is it because he's a monster that has special abilities?” Sen meddles. ”... There is a book that says that the blood and flesh of the human species are very effective in healing various diseases and wounds. But, the reality is not so right, young master?”

Gill stopped eating her food and her gaze began to point towards the window. ”... That is proof of a father's affection for his son. He deliberately did so that everyone would stop targeting his Son for their own benefit. In reality, there is nothing special about a human species other than killing and destroying. Sometimes I think, why could a creature like us be created to destroy a human?”

”Hei! Ivonne! Rest up! You've been working long enough!” edmund said as he approached Ivonne who was arranging the medicine box he wanted to carry.

Today the refugee camp is still very busy and increasingly crowded. The fallen victim kept coming over asking to be healed. Medical workers there are overwhelmed taking care of their patients this much. Even Ivonne did not have the heart to rest even if only a few minutes.

”Medical workers there! Take care of my sister! He's been in so much pain!” someone shouted behind Ivonne while she was treating another patient.

”Tell your sister to be patient for a moment. It's not just you getting hurt!” ivonne said firmly while continuing to treat her patients.

The answer clearly made the man feel angry. His fierce face began to look like he wanted to hurt. ”... So slow are you! Take care of my sister! He's been waiting here for an hour! Aren't you going to treat him?! Very slow!”

Ivonne remained silent even though the man's mouth did not stop sneering at him. He remained focused on the fracture patient he was dealing with. Only a little more he finished wrapping his wound, the patience of the man was thinning until finally taking action.

His hand tried to pull Ivonne's back collar so she could drag him. However, all of a sudden this hand was stopped by the arrival of Edmund who immediately held it as if to signal that this person did not touch it in the slightest.

”We're all trying here. Would you say that? So selfish. Are your eyes blind? Don't you see there are a lot of injured people here? We never even rested and were even willing not to be paid by you. If you stay like this, I'll kick you out. It was easy for me to contact the captain of all the troops.” Edmund said as he looked coldly at the man's eyes.

”Then work quickly! One by one our friends die because you're too slow! Our lives are all threatened! Are your ears deaf?! Didn't you hear the pain of these people?!” shouted the man to make the view of the whole room immediately focused on him.

”Then you get out of here! Find your own doctor! Don't count on us here!” edmund shouted in anger.

”Stop you two. Do not waste time just to fight arguments.” said Ivonne stood back while carrying his medical device.

Ivonne looks much paler than before. His expression looks tired. However, he kept trying to move and do what he should. Incidentally, Ivonne had already seen the younger sister of the man trying to corner her. He immediately walked over to her and treated her entire wound.

The injuries his younger sister had suffered did not seem so severe. Not a single bone was broken or shifted. He only had blisters on his legs and arms. Ivonne only needed to wrap her wound with bandages and medicine after it was done. People with injuries like this usually only ask to be given a bandage and the next medicine they will treat the wound themselves. Not like this noble family that asks for more service. In fact, they know that this place is a temporary refuge.

”I'm done. The injury is not too bad. In a few weeks, the wound will slowly heal.” said Ivonne slowly after that he walked back to a place.

”Hei! Ivonne! I think it's time for you to rest.” said Edmund walking up to him.

Ivonne stopped stepping as Edmund stopped his sentence. In that silence, blood suddenly dripped from within Ivonne's nose. The blood that was so thick and red had stained the white marble floor. Slowly, Ivonne looked at Edmund with teary eyes.

Unable to drip it, Ivonne suddenly falls and lands in the arms of Edmund who is standing next to her. Edmund was shocked to see the limitations Ivonne had. Quickly, he immediately led her away towards a more relieved resting room.
