The Ace Of Disasters

Episode 25's

Eldric knocked on the door as he arrived in front of the Leory mansion. At first the housekeeper did not allow him to go see any of the family members. But under the guise of his old acquaintances and taking part in the tragedy that occurred at the church a few days ago, the guard there finally allowed him to knock on his door. However, he did not guarantee the servant or family member would allow him to enter.

After waiting for a while, a female servant finally opened the door slightly and greeted her from the gap of the door which was only 30 inches away. His eyes looked cold as he looked at Eldric. It seemed that they were currently unwilling to receive any guests.

”Halo, Is Ayhner inside? I want to see him for a minute.”

The waiter was silent for a while as he rolled his eyes in the other direction. ”... At this time the young master could not be found by anyone. Please leave. The host does not receive any guests for any reason.”

”So yes?” Eldric gave a pause. ”... But, can I know how Ayhner is doing now? Is she okay?”

”Ayhner, is that you?”

Eldric walked up to him. Unknowingly the boy immediately stared at him with a face adorned with plaster and scars. Both of his eyes were swollen as if he had just woken up from his long sleep. It turned out to be true, this child he saw was Ayhner.

”You're right Ayhner! Are you feeling all right? You should be in your bed and resting.” Eldric stopped right in front of him and knelt there.

Surprisingly Ayhner looked at Eldric in confusion as if he did not know who Eldric was and why he bothered to greet him. ”... You who? I don't know you.” he said with the same gaze.

Eldric was so shocked that he was barely able to speak anymore. He was trying to notice that maybe he was wrong. However, judging from anywhere, he is still the Ayhner Leory he knows.

Ayhner tried to remember, but he couldn't do it and just shook his head. What he said only made his head ache as if it wanted to explode. ”... Please don't try to make me remember. My head hurts so much.” he said while holding his head.

”What's wrong with you, Ayhner? Something happened to your head?” Eldric tried to touch Ayhner, but Ayhner immediately brushed him aside and looked at him with a sad expression.

Seeing him made Eldric immediately stop to try to touch him. Instantly he became speechless, looking at her with concern. He just didn't expect Ayhner to forget it. Or maybe, he had accidentally forgotten about it because of something.

”Hei, Ayhner. It's not a big deal if you forget me. From the beginning, I didn't really understand you either. You rarely tell me about your life. Well, I feel that doesn't really matter either because I'm just a person passing by in front of you. But, I don't mind if you want to tell me. Me too, will try to find a way out for you if you're in trouble. Because, my meeting with you was no coincidence.”

At the same time, Luois watched them from behind the crack of the house. He looked expressionless as he leaned against the wall and folded his arms. The same flower scent she had once felt. It was like nostalgia for his parents' long-gone home.
