Sukma gasped when he found himself in a quiet and foggy forest. In fear, he ventured to ask for help. Slowly, the little girl woke up and stood up. Sometimes he rubbed his eyes, as if he did not believe that he was in a very quiet forest.
Unwilling to remain silent, Sukma walked to find a way out. Disbursed leaves that block his steps. However, the visibility is still short due to the thick fog. The further he walked, the more dense the forest he passed.
Long enough the little girl walked, until finally found an area that was not overgrown with trees in the slightest. He thought the way out had already been found. However, the fact is that he is still in a part of the forest that is not overgrown with trees. The sukma grew frightened and shouted for help. He spread his gaze in all directions until he stopped at one point.
An old woman was sitting on her back against Sukma on a tree trunk lying on the ground. Sukma tried to approach him. Several times he asked about the identity of the old woman, but no answer was found at all.
"Stop there, Sukma! Don't come any closer!" exclaim the old woman.
Sukma recognized her voice and immediately asked, "Grandmother?! But ... Why can't Dedek go near Grandma?"
"Because you'll leave if you see my face. I don't want you to go back to the human realm before my message is delivered" explained Mom.
Sukma. He followed his mother's words and sat not too far behind his grandmother.
"Sukma, please take good care of Risman. Give her my apology. I'm really sorry for being unfair to my son" said the old woman.
"Alright, Grandma. Dedek will try to take care of the Father," said Sukma.
"One more thing and remember it! Please use the power I gave you well. Don't make the mistake of creating fear in everyone's heart! I'm really sorry I had that power. My originally noble goal, it changed in the middle of the road" said Mother.
"What is Grandma's noble purpose? Dedek thought, Grandma had a science like that to kill people," said Sukma.
"First, I wanted to raise the family's degree and gain authority. I want to be appreciated by many. In addition to gaining wealth, I also want to help many people to get their way. However, after the wealth I had, I forgot that noble goal. Pride has undermined my life, even I am reluctant to hear the warnings from my husband. Thanks to this power I have, I can hear the people who are using me from a distance. From there, I could kill people without having to dirty my hands with their blood. Not only that, I can also predict something that will happen the day before. So do not be surprised if you can feel my presence before coming to Indramayu," explained Mother.
"Gosh, Grandma!" Sukma was surprised and smothered his mouth. "Then, why did Grandma hurt you? Does Grandma not love you, Father?"
Mom shook her head. "I loved your father just as much as my other children. I also want to educate your father to be successful like his brothers. But your father is different. He was closer to his father than any other brother. Risman preferred to study religion rather than witchcraft or canuragan. He was really influenced by his father's teachings. According to him, life is only temporary, there is still an afterlife that awaits after searching for supplies in this mortal world. His father also thought so, that treasures would not be brought to death. Until Risman was a teenager, his father put my third son into the pesantren. I'm really furious. I can't accept if there's one of my kids with a different view. Therefore, I tried to use my husband, but repeatedly failed. My husband's faith is so strong that only God's destiny can take away his life."
"Oh my goodness, Grandma! Why is Grandma so cruel? Dad and Grandpa were on the right path, but Grandma didn't want to come. Actually what, the hell, makes Grandma the same Father's brothers so?"
"Greed, power, and recognition of society. We do not accept if we have to be ridiculed by the poor continuously by the villagers. Life is only a moment, then happiness must be felt until completely satisfied. Therefore, we do not like it if someone tries to warn us to return to the way of God. Just so you know, before your two parents migrated to the city, their lives were fairly prosperous. Risman has a mango orchard and extensive rice fields from his father's legacy. He also intensively taught us about everything he learned from pesantren, but we did not care. So upset with Risman, Agus and Seto steal a land certificate that is inherited for his sister, then sell it. In addition, Risman is also often sickly due to the magic we send, even we do not want it until he has a descendant."
"Did Grandma realize, if Grandma has done a lot of wrong with Mother and Father too? Did Grandma and Aunt Uwa never regret even if you have done well with you? Far away you came here to meet you, but instead sent in dedemit," cerocos Sukma was upset.
"Yes, I was just sorry when you came to our shrine. Risman is really lucky to have a son like you, Sukma."
Meanwhile, in the real world, Bu Inah is still crying over his daughter who has not been conscious. For two days the youngest did not eat, drink, or urinate. Changes occur in the Sukma as the knowledge of the Mother who has adapted to her body. His skin turned pale white, his hair grew very fast. Ms. Inah panicked and thought that her youngest daughter was gone, considering her temperature was decreasing. However, his worries quickly disappeared after knowing Sukma's heart was still beating.
From outside Abah's house, Ustaz Halim rushed in with his teacher to heal Sukma. When they meet the owner of the house, both Sukma and Atikah parents are surprised to see the arrival of Kyai Soleh.
"Loh, Kirain isn't your daughter unconscious anymore?" kyai Soleh said.
"We don't think Mr. Kyai was Ustaz Halim's teacher either" Mr. Risman said.
"Alright, tell me in detail the cause of Sukma Deck can be like this. Didn't I tell you, you guys have to take good care of this kid?" kyai Soleh.
Mom tells me the chronology. Starting from the benefits sent to the body of Mr. Risman, until a fierce fight between the princess and her in-laws. Kyai Soleh shook his head weakly, then had Pak Risman and Abah call the citizens as many as forty people to help him.
Rushing Abah and Mr. Risman called one by one neighbors who happened to be in leisure. Not to forget, they told the neighbors to bring Yasin's book. Mr. Risman can breathe a sigh of relief, Abah's neighbors do not mind to help him heal the youngest.
After a few minutes, one by one the neighbors came to Abah's house. They were dressed well and politely. Not to forget, the book of Yasin and the little Qur'an they brought. Kyai Soleh breathed a sigh of relief, knowing Mr. Risman had no trouble asking for help from the surrounding residents.
Next, the prayer was led by Ustaz Halim. Neighbors recite Surah Al-Fatihah, Al-Falaq, An-Nas, and Ayat Kursi simultaneously. Meanwhile, Kyai Soleh recited a prayer while sticking his hand on Sukma's forehead. The man closed his eyes, exerting his ability in tracking down the whereabouts of the tribe from the little girl. With the help of forty people who read the Surah Yasin, Kyai Soleh began to enter the subconscious.
Sukma is still dealing with Mama. The old woman stood up slowly from the tree trunk, then walked towards the darkest forest. Sukma followed her, but she kept the little girl away.
"It's time to return to the human realm. Tell Risman, I will not go into the burrow before being delivered by him," said Emak, then walked into the forest without turning to Sukma in the slightest.
The little girl chased after him, but Mother's figure suddenly disappeared just like that. Sukma began to be confused, in which direction he should go next. He swirled around on the brightest side of the forest while looking for the right path.
Soon, there was a faint sound of the echoes of the study of people from one side of the forest. Sukma hesitantly approached the origin of the voice. He walked into a forest area that was not so thick. There is still a path in front of him.
A few minutes later, a tiger appeared from behind Sukma. He walked to the front of the little girl without any intention of pouncing on her. The frightened sukma, trying to remain calm and holding his breath.
"Not to be afraid. I'll show you the way out. Let's follow me!" said the tiger, then ran.
Without thinking, Sukma followed the tiger away. The further he ran, the more spacious the road passed. Not only that, the voice of the people teaching also sounded louder in his ears.
Thanks to the help of the tiger, Sukma managed to get out of the forest. He entered a bright light before him, following the voices of those who taught. Upon entering that light, Sukma's consciousness gradually recovered. Slowly, he opened his eyes and was surprised to see people teaching nearby.
Kyai Soleh removed his hand from Sukma's forehead after learning that the little girl was unconscious. Mr. Risman and Mr. Inah were moved to see his daughter awake after two days. They immediately embraced Sukma with tears.
At the same time, Mom breathed her last breath. An atmosphere of sorrow enveloped the old woman's residence. His four daughters were completely powerless to hold back the tears of knowing that the mother was dead.
