SUKMA: The Deal With the Devil

SUKMA: The Deal With the Devil
Destroying Mantras

Wanara still jumped to and fro to avoid the pursuit of Sukma. He really wants to be free and hold on to his arrogance. The monkey climbed the iron pole rented upstairs until finally entrenched in the tile.

Sukma is chasing Wanara. With courage, Sukma climbed the iron pole to reach Wanara. Atikah who witnessed the recklessness of her sister, immediately ran towards the top floor and shouted her to get down from there. However, Sukma who never gave up, reluctant to listen to his brother.

Coincidentally, Sancang also saw the little girl climbing a pole to get her ape back. The white tiger ran, then jumped to the top floor. Before Atikah managed to grab it, Sancang had already bitten Sukma's shirt to quickly get down from there.

"Take me off, Sancang! Wanara's escaped!" bentak Sukma's.

Sancang does not want to crush him. He pulled Sukma's shirt until the little girl fell. Atikah swiftly caught Sukma. However, the little girl did not want to be silent. Sukma ran down the stairs, then rushed outside the rented area.

Atikah feels responsible for the safety of Sukma this time. He immediately chased his sister out of contract, making sure she was okay. Upon arrival outside the contract, it appears Sukma was running while looking up at the tile of the neighboring house.

"Dedek! Watch out fall!" yell Atikah.

Sukma still does not touch him. His eyes were still fixed upwards, trying to catch up to where Wanara was going. The monkey jumped on the roof, then came down from there when it was about to reach the highway.

Sukma found it easier to catch up to him when he was downstairs. He sped up his run, though his feet did not wear sandals. As he got closer to the monkey, Sukma immediately pulled his tail tightly. Wanara screamed in pain while jumping up and down, trying to escape.

"Where are you going, Wanara? Your place is here, in my house" said Sukma.

"No! I live in the mountains, not in the dwellings of men. Go you!"

Meanwhile, Atikah gasped for Sukma. Along with Atikah, Sancang went after Wanara. The white tiger noticed something different from Wanara's body, especially in her head. There is a letter in the form of a tattoo right on his forehead.

When Atikah holds Sukma's shoulder and persuades him to stop, Sancang fights Wanara. Of course, the quarrel between them, made Sukma panic.

"Soak! What the fuck are you? Stopit! Don't fight!" yell Sukma.

"Who's fighting, Dek?" ask Atikah curiously.

"Wanara and her white tiger Mang Ujang are fighting again" replied Sukma.

Dumbfounded Atikah heard Sukma's answer. "What's? Mang Ujang has a tiger?"

"Yes. Tuh, look! They're fighting again!" sukma said.

Long enough Wanara and Sancang wrestled on the sidewalk. Without hesitation, the white tiger clawed Wanara, then pushed him to the ground. Sukma who saw the fight between them, immediately ran towards the two.

"Queen! Aya rajah dina sirahna," said Sancang explained to Sukma, while looking at Wanara's head. (Look! There's a rajah on his head.)

Sukma's gaze was immediately fixed on Wanara's forehead. He also squatted near the raging monkey. His hand was affixed to the forehead of his favorite monkey, then closed his eyes while commuting.

Atikah frowned, seeing Sukma's strange attitude. If only his inner eyes had not closed, perhaps he would have seen all the fighting of the two animals and something his sister had done. Atikah believes that Sukma is using his abilities to recover his pet ape.

When Sukma's entire strength was deployed to destroy the spell on Wanara's forehead, Sancang held him firmly. The ape screamed, his body reluctant to be silent for a second. Due to the influence of a very strong spell, making Wanara's entire body feel crumpled, especially when Sukma's strength gradually entered his body.

Apparently, the power of the spell inside one of Ki Purnomo's hidden rooms can influence any demon to submit to his shaman, not least Wanara. As Sukma searched for himself, the ape was being affected by the spell in the room, despite repeatedly asking for help. Because of the great influence of the spell, Wanara seemed to be attacked by various weapons from the supernatural that were able to damage his body and memory. He was unconscious, until Sukma opened the lid of a small bottle that locked him. Wanara completely lost his memory due to the influence of the spell from Ki Purnomo's special room. Something he remembered was only partial, but his strength to fight against other supernatural beings, was still the same.

Now, gradually, the spell that penetrated into Wanara's body began to shatter into pieces. Thanks to the power that Sukma exerts, Wanara can remember events in her life. His memory pieces began to recover, along with the annihilation of all the spells within his body. Wanara calmed down, his body silent.

Finished destroying the spell on Wanara's body, Sukma removed the palm from Wanara's forehead. His body drooped weakly, until finally sprawled on the sidewalk. Atikah approached Sukma, then raised the body of the sister until her head rested on the shoulder.

"Dedek, Dedek is okay, right?" tanya Atikah patted Sukma's cheek.

"Teeth, Dedek tired. We go home, yuk," replied Sukma with a voice of raucous and soft.

"Yes, yeah. Let's go home! Dedek can still walk, right?" ask Atikah.

"Dedek is carried."

"Yes, Teteh will carry Dedek up to the house."

So try Atikah carrying the sister. Various positions tried, to the point of having to bother raising both hands and body Sukma to his back. After feeling comfortable, Atikah stood up, then walked a bit staggeringly holding his sister.

Meanwhile, Wanara who was still awaited by Sancang, finally realized as well. Faintly, his eyes saw Sukma who was being carried by Atikah getting away from him. He also tried to release both legs of Sancang from his body.

"Sukmas! Sukma!" call Wanara in a high tone, then his head feels a little dizzy.

"Enggeus, the waka diudag. Silaing can cageur. Heula didieu. Engke kuring antherkeun ka babaturan silaing," Sancang reprimand arrested Wanara. (Have, don't chase it first. You haven't really healed. Sit down here first. I'll take you to your friend.)

"Yes naon ieu? Naha Sukma digagandong sagala ku lanceukna? My boa-boa aing geus is in captivity," asked Wanara worriedly. (What is this? Why is Sukma carried all by his brother? Not be fought by me.)

"Henteu. Silaing teu ngalawan leutik slave, ngan kuring hungkul nu ngalawan silaing. Kunaon was ai silaing ujug-ujug poho ka slave eta? Pan silaing teh geus nyobat jeung manhanana, others?" tanya Sancang astonished. (No. You're not fighting a child, I'm the only one fighting you. Why did you suddenly forget about the boy? You're with him, aren't you?)

"Sidik aing geu ngarti kunaon. Surely ieu duh dukun eta, nu geus mangaruhan aing. Ms. ku aing et diterang ayeuna oge," growled Wanara annoyed. (Obviously I don't understand why either. This must have been the shaman, who influenced me. I'll look for him right now.)

"Enggeus, it's on the wind. Meureun, ayeuna shaman eta geus dipahan ku babaturan silaing. Meningan silaing geura balik ka imah babaturan silaing, bisi manhanana kunanaon," said Sancang. (Already, don't look for. Perhaps, now that shaman has been killed by your friend. Meningan you quickly go home to your friend, afraid he why-why.)

Wanara assented Sancang's speech. After his strength recovered, he ran with Sancang towards the contract. Hope his little friend's condition is okay.

The night was getting late, Sukma who lost most of his strength, was still lying down since this afternoon. Sometimes he closed his eyes and fell asleep. However, in his sleep the little girl continued to wander while mentioning the name of the shaman gondrong.

Bu Inah was worried about the state of Sukma. When she held her daughter's forehead, she felt no heat at all. Only, cold sweat continued to pour from several parts of his body.

"Well, answer honestly! Actually, Dedek, what was the time to go on the road? Dedek didn't get hit by a car, did he?"

"Geez, Mother! By Allah! Dedek is okay. He said he saw his pet as a white tiger fighting. After that, Dedek squatted on the sidewalk while blindfolded and commute. I don't know what Dedek did at the time. Uh, if I've been watching for a long time, his body becomes limp."

"Oh, how is it? Did you ask for help from Mr. Suwandi, huh?" said Ms. Inah getting more anxious.

"Sir Suwandi? Who's Mr Suwandi, Mom?"

"That's, the dashing fathers of Dedek fainted."

"Oh, try it, Mom. Who knows if Mr. Suwandi can help. I don't think this is a problem that can be solved by a doctor. If Dedek has a fever, he may still be taken to the clinic."

"Yes. But ... wouldn't you know, huh?"

"Mom won't know, Mom. Father, right, another trade."

"yes too. Then, please take care of Dedek, yes."

"Yes, Mom."

Hurry up, Miss Inah out on contract. With a worried heart, he tried to remember Mang Ujang's words about the location of Mr. Suwandi's house. He said his house was not far from the Hajj Gufron contract.

After walking a little away from the rented area, Ms. Inah saw a gloved man sipping a cigarette on his patio chair. Quickly, Bu Inah was able to surmise that the man was Mr. Suwandi. Soon he came to the house, then greeted Mr. Suwandi with a trembling voice.

"Sir Suwandi?"

"Yes, Mom. What's up?" ask Mr. Suwandi.

"Mother can help me, can't you? My little boy lemes and keeps delirious. He just kept saying Ki ... Ki ... What was it? Ah, yes, Ki Purnomo."

Goggled Mr. Suwandi's eyes when he heard the name of the gondrong man. "Astagfirullah. Then let's hurry up and help the youngest daughter!"

"Yes, Sir. Thanks for helping."

Mr. Suwandi hurried to leave his residence with Bu Inah. In a hurry they walked, until finally arrived at the Hajj Gufron rented area.

When entering the rented house of Mr. Risman, Atikah looked panicked to see his sister convulsing with eyeballs that rotate upwards. He tried to pat the cheek of the sister to quickly wake up, but his efforts were in vain. Ms. Inah who had been feeling anxious, at once her heart was in a state of turmoil to find her daughter behaving unusually in her sleep. Mr. Suwandi immediately sat next to Sukma, then rubbed the little girl's forehead while reciting the basmalah.

"Oh, how is this?" ask Mom, I'm panicking.

"Quick! Get me some water!" said Mr. Suwandi.

Ms. Inah quickly took a glass of water to the kitchen, then returned to where Sukma had fallen asleep. Wanara, who was aware of Bu Inah's panic, immediately walked to the main hall. He was sure very well, something was wrong with Sukma.

Meanwhile, Mr. Suwandi recited a prayer into the glass of water, then poured it into his hands. While reciting the Ayat Kursi, he splashed the water in his hand onto Sukma's face. However, there was no change in the little girl.

Wanara immediately changed his body size to be smaller, then entered into the subconscious Sukma. The further away he is in the dreamland of Sukma, the hotter the air he feels. Apparently a lot of embers burning the subconscious Sukma to the point that the little girl is difficult to wake up.

"Sukmas! Sukmas! Where are you?" call Wanara dingukan.

"I'm here, Wanara! Help me!" Faintly heard the voice of Sukma from a distance.

Wanara rushed towards the source of the sound it came from. Far enough away he searched, until he finally found Sukma was surrounded by a ring of burning fire. Wanara who was feeling sorry to see Sukma helpless inside the circle, immediately approached him.

Nevertheless, the enormous and fierce flame, as if it would not allow him to enter there. Wanara retreated a little backwards, then advanced again at the right moment. However, it seems that the fire still did not allow the black ape to save Sukma.

"Get out of there, Wanara!" said the voice of the man from behind the ape.

Wanara immediately looked over. The disembodied head of Ki Purnomo, wrapped in a blazing fire. The man's eyes were fiery red, it could even spurt out flames in a single blink of an eye. The monkey retreated backwards, dodging Ki Purnomo's attack in the form of Banaspati.

"Your deal with me is done! Why bother Sukma?" bentak Wanara.

"I'm the same old boy that's not finished, Monkey! Because of him, my life drifted. Life must be paid for. I'm dead, he must be dead too!" said Ki Purnomo spitting fire from his mouth.

Once again, Wanara dodged Ki Purnomo's attack. "Take it, accept your defeat! There is no point in attacking a weak child."

"Weak you say? If he is weak, my life may be separated from my body! Now it's time for revenge," furious Ki Purnomo attacked Wanara again with fire from his mouth.

Wanara cleverly steered clear of Ki Purnomo. "Well, if you want revenge on Sukma, face me first. Dare to enter into the dreams of a weak child."

Then the fight between Ki Purnomo and Wanara began. Bursts of fire sprouted out from the mouth of the gondrong man, attacking Wanara. The monkey cleverly ran and jumped to a place colder than the dreamland of Sukma. Ki Purnomo is increasingly upset with Wanara who is so agile, to forget that the main target is only Sukma.

Meanwhile, Mr. Suwandi began to rub prayer water onto Sukma's face. This time, he could feel the body temperature of the youngest daughter Bu Inah rising. Persevering, Mr. Suwandi rubbed the water in his hand again onto Sukma's face so that the little girl's body temperature immediately decreased.
