The night is getting old. Wanara is still meditating on the roof of Mr. Risman's house, waiting for dawn to arrive. After Mr. Risman traded, the atmosphere felt so quiet, especially after midnight.
Wall clock shows one o'clock exactly. The wind that blows gently caress the trees, the longer it feels tight and piercing the bones. Wanara remained focused on sitting cross-legged, until the rumbling wind finally disrupted his meditation. The monkey opened his eyes, watching the objects around him fly due to the strong wind. Along with that, he felt something different at that time. His heart was overwhelmed with anxiety, until when he looked up, the monkey was surprised not playing. Clumps of black clouds swirled over his body, forming a huge circle that was ready to pull his body at any moment. Wanara took a few steps back, his eyes not looking at the cloud.
A few minutes later, a man's voice rang out in the sky. Wanara gasped, his body immediately collapsed on the roof of Mr. Risman's house. I don't know why his heart was so scared to hear that voice.
"W-who are you? Show yourself right now!" wanara shouted with a trembling voice.
"There's no need for me to explain who I am, you already know me" said the voice of the man from the sky.
Wanara frowned for a moment, recalling the owner of the voice. Shortly after, his eyes widened after recalling the events of the ape demon being destroyed by a huge black shadow with a similar sound. Quickly, Wanara stared again at the sky as he clenched his hands, preparing to fight the owner of the voice.
"Until any time you will never be able to win against me. Just save your energy for something else," said the man's voice haughtily.
"Then, what do you want from me?" asked Wanara in a loud tone.
"Sway Sukma! You are not worthy to accompany my daughter!"
"Why not worth it? I've taught Sukma a lot. What was the reason until you told me to stay away from your daughter? Didn't the old woman who had waited for Sukma once say, if one of us looks after your daughter, it will be made your right hand?"
"That's if you can get Sukma in my way. As for you .., let alone making it in my path, you instead help him fight with other dedemits and defend him in order for the humans to return to the right path. Have you forgotten that your duty is to make men accompany our people in hell?"
Wanara pensively for a moment. This time, he was completely aware of the change in him. Since being with Sukma, Pak Risman's family's good temperament seemed to affect him. He who originally felt proud to be adored by humans and made allies to attract worldly wealth, now turned to be a seeker of a true creator. Not only that, the meditation he lived during his life with Mr. Risman's family, slowly has taken him in another direction.
"Rather than bringing my daughter down the further, you'd better leave as soon as possible. Otherwise, I won't hesitate to destroy you" the voice of the man from the sky threatened.
For a moment, Wanara let out a long sigh. Realizing that he had known the Creator and could no longer be in line with Satan, he made a hard enough decision to make. The monkey looked up to the sky again.
"Alright, I'll leave your daughter. But ... may I ask for a moment to be with Sukma? I promise, I won't take it any further" Wanara said.
"Seven full. If on the seventh full moon you don't go too, then I'll exterminate you."
Not yet Wanara was able to beg for more time, the black cloud clump that twisted above his head slowly shimmered in all directions. The sound of lightning roared from a distance. The gust of wind that was originally so strong, now began to decrease. Spots of water fell from the sky, until it rained that night.
Wanara bowed lethargic, then stared at the scene before him. The human nature is not the place it should live. God has created it to live in different realms; the supernatural. Sooner or later, separation from Sukma will occur. Wanara must make his final moments with Sukma more precious until the sixth full moon arrives.
Meanwhile, in the room, Sukma seemed restless in his sleep. His body trembled in fear, accompanied by a sweat that drenched his forehead. Sometimes the girl muttered indistinctly, to make her brother wake up.
Apparently in the subconscious, Sukma was so confused to hear the sound of the growling of wild animals accompanied by the shrill laughter of a woman. The surrounding scenery was faint, illumination was only a full moon. Sukma walked slowly while feeling the tall trees nearby.
The more Sukma walks, the heavier the steps. The thundering footsteps of invisible beings are getting closer. The foreign voices behind him frightened Sukma. Many times he screamed for help, but only a terrible voice could be heard. Panic enveloped his soul, until Sukma fell to the ground.
The dim light of the moon shows the form of a python at the feet of Sukma. Slowly the snake coiled the legs of Sukma so that it could not wart. One by one the snakes came to the girl. Sukma's breath was increasingly hunting, his chest felt tight along with the winding snake that spread quickly to his body. A cobra came up to him, his mouth wide open as if it was about to spurt out a can. Sukma sound choked, even for breathing was getting crowded.
In the midst of his fear, the growling sounds and shrill laughter behind him suddenly disappeared. The python that originally wrapped around his body, slowly left. Even with the snakes around him, suddenly away just like that. Sukma was astonished, watching the quiet atmosphere of the forest for a moment. As he stood up, he patted his body and let out a long sigh.
Shortly afterwards, there was a rustling sound of leaves being stepped on from the east direction of Sukma bediri. The girl gasped, took a few steps back and stared warily in all directions. From behind the tree, a shadow of a person walked closer to Sukma. The moonlight illuminated half of the man's face.
"W-who are you?" ask Sukma stammering. His heart was still pounding, overwhelmed by an unfinished fear.
"Something? About what?" sukma asked while frowning, starting to be curious about the mysterious man's words.
"Immediately leave the Risman family. You have gone too far from the main purpose of your life" said the man. His face that was faintly visible by the moonlight, turned invisible.
"What?! Naw. How can I get away from my own family? Who are you, anyway? How dare the misahin children with his family," said Sukma gusar.
"It turns out you forgot, yes, with the real purpose of coming to the human realm. Okay, I'll tell you. Your arrival in the human world is not to take people to the right path, but to mislead them to be in line with us. You son of the devil. You should be misleading people to make us in hell" explained the man then smiled faintly.
Sukma was wide-eyed to hear the man's explanation and walked hurriedly while pointing at the man before him. "Hey! I'm not a child of the devil! I'm my mother's son and my father's son. From childhood, I was taught to do good to others. My mother said, in the afterlife we will gather in heaven, not hell," she said.
"You're so cute, yes," said the mysterious man who brushed Sukma's hand away. "If you don't want to follow your father's will, I'll force you to do what he wants."
"Try it if you can! Even to death I won't want anyone to go to hell."
Without further ado, the mysterious man strangles Sukma's neck. The girl had trouble breathing. All his strength he put in to release the man's strangulation in the neck. The more Sukma tried hard to fight, the stronger the strangulation gripped his neck. Until when his body was lifted, Atikah's voice sounded calling him from a distance.
The mysterious man turned in all directions, then released his strangulation on Sukma's neck. Instantly the Sukma lay on the ground and coughed. Sometimes he sighed a little until all his strength was gathered again. Meanwhile, the mysterious man turned around and rushed away.
"See you later, Sukma. One day I will meet you in the human world" said the man as he left and laughed out loud.
Sukma had not yet risen and chased after him, the shadow of the man suddenly disappeared. The girl looked puzzled, looking for the figure and voice of the person who was strangling her earlier. However, slowly his attention began to divert hearing Atikah's voice.
Apparently outside of Sukma's subconscious, Atikah was shaking his sister's body. Not to forget he also splashed water while chanting the holy verses of the Qur'an. A few minutes later, his sister finally woke up. Sukma looked at Atikah while rubbing his wet face.
"Alhamdulillah, finally Dedek woke up too," said Atikah exhaling a sigh of relief.
"Teteh abis why Dedek's face? How to get wet gini?" tanya Sukma frowned.
"So Dedek looked very agitated after sleeping, even before the chat was not clear like asking for help. Tetah had been rocking Dedek's body, but did not wake up. Yeah, I've got cipratin in the water."
Sukma was pensive, his gaze turning blank. The voice of the mysterious man in his dream realm was still clearly ringing in his ears. One sentence from the man who still bothered his mind until he woke up, you son of the devil.
"Sir, you're okay, right?" tanya Atikah patted Sukma's shoulder.
Sukma shook his head, then looked into his brother's eyes. "Teh, is it true that Dedek is the son of the devil?"
Atikah. "Who said that, Dek? Temen Grandpa?" ask her with wide eyes. "Ah, don't-don't Dedek run out of dreams in-bully the same school management, yes."
"No, no, Tea!" Sukma immediately refuted while shaking his head. His face changed as if recalling his dream. "So Dedek dreams of meeting guys, keep saying Dedek's a son of the devil."
"Turkey? Wh who? Temen your school?"
Sukma raised his shoulders. "No idea, Tea. Dedek never heard his voice in school."
"Hm, then, it's just a sleeping flower. As soon as we sleep again. Tomorrow we go to school again," said Atikah rubbed his sister's shoulder. "Don't forget, read the prayer first if you want to sleep."
Sukma nodded, then lay down next to her brother. Before his eyes closed tightly, he pensively. Still vividly remembered in his memory of the red-clad dedemit who said that Sukma was a demon. Then there was a mysterious man in his dream who said the same thing. Sukma immediately dismissed those bad thoughts. It may be true said Atikah, nightmares experienced before are just flowers of sleep. However, Sukma did not immediately feel calm just like that. The man will meet him in the human world, and Sukma must be prepared to face him.
