SUKMA: The Deal With the Devil

SUKMA: The Deal With the Devil
Hilman Admissions

The giant was still staring at Bu Inah. He threw the baby in his hand until it landed right in the woman's hand. The form of Sukma that was originally ugly and terrible, turned into a cute baby in Bu Inah's arms.

"Take good care of the baby. As long as he's not harmed, your family will get good luck on a continuous basis."

Not yet had Bu Inah say a word to the giant, someone shook his body first to make him wake up. It seemed that Mr. Risman and Atikah looked in wonder at him. Not to mention Sukma, who also woke up when Bu Inah screamed from his sleep.

"Mom, what dreams have you had?" asked Mr. Risman frowned.

"S-sukmas. Where is Sukma? Sukma!" Bu Inah's voice sounded trembling. When she turned her head and found Sukma, she immediately hugged the baby.

"Mom, what's the dream, anyway? Not usually I sleep until trembling and screaming all," asked Mr. Risman curious.

In his consciousness, Bu Inah recalled the dream. Faintly, a demonic shadow within his dream appeared in his eye sack. Immediately Bu Inah closed his eyes, his breathing gasping.

Seeing the strange behavior of his wife, Mr. Risman increasingly wondered. "What's up, Mom?"

"That giant, sir! The giant took Sukma, continued to throw him again into Mother's hands. I'm afraid he's taking our son, sir."

"Easy, Mom. Don't think about it. It's just a sleeping flower. I'd better give milk to Sukma first. Pity him, seeming to be starving," persuaded Mr. Risman, then continued his sleep with Atikah.

While carrying the baby, Ms. Inah went to the kitchen and made milk into a small pacifier. Sukma calmed down first, then changed his wet diaper. After that, Bu Inah gave milk to Sukma and put him back to sleep.

Wall clock shows at two in the morning. The sleepiness has not come to Bu Inah. The giant shadow on top of the mountain of trash, made him unsettled. While looking at Sukma who had slept soundly, Bu Inah moved from the foam mattress. He walked to the WC to wake up, hoping his heart would calm down and forget his nightmare that night.

...****************...

Mr. Risman's performance at Hilman's house is getting better by the day. In fact, the relationship between him and Hilman was not like an employer and a maid, but rather a brother and sister. Hilman who has lost his brother for a week, felt replaced by the presence of Mr. Risman. In addition, Mr. Risman's honest and humble attitude, made Hilman want to do more good to his favorite workers.

Although it was difficult to get permission from Farah, Hilman finally brought Pak Risman's family to his pavilion, one day after the ceremony of thanksgiving Sukma was completed. Ms. Inah felt awkward to stay there with her children, especially seeing Farah's not so friendly attitude. However, Hilman who behaved better than his wife, finally can give comfort to Bu Inah.

"Well, sir, Mom, now you live here. Stay cleaned a little bit, later it will also be comfortable for the four of you," said Hilman friendly.

"Ouch, Sir. Thank you very much for all the kindness of my father. It feels like we will not be able to repay all the kindness that you give here," said Bu Inah feeling reluctant.

"No need to say that, Mom. We need your energy, after all. You should be given more appreciation."

"This father, it makes us feel sad" said Mr. Risman.

"No need to worry, sir. I consider my Mom and Dad like my sister. So, just relax" said Hilman chuckling. "Yes, Mom. Excuse me first. Today I'm taking Albi to the playground."

"Please."

So Hilman left Pak Risman's little family in the pavilion. After his death, Atikah whines on the porch of the pavilion. Ms. Inah and Mr. Risman, who noticed Atikah's strange attitude, felt sorry for her daughter.

"Well, why are you crying, Atikah?" ask Mr. Risman.

"I want to play with that," replied the little girl as she pleased.

Atikah nodded slowly, then said, "But it's still better than this."

Ma'am Inah took a long breath. The gratitude that was originally embedded in his heart, turned into infinite patience when he heard Atikah's words. However, the spaciousness of his heart accepted the reality, still maintained by Bu Inah. After all, his current progress in life was worth being grateful for.

Without saying much, Ms. Inah led Atikah into the pavilion. Her daughter's whining slowly diminished as she occupied a room filled with large glass cabinets and a soft spring bed. The sadness that was originally drawn on Atikah's face, slowly faded away. The little girl pranced with excitement on the bed.

Seeing the joy on Atikah's face, Bu Inah's heart was relieved. While holding Sukma who was still sleeping soundly, he arranged several rooms in the pavilion. Together with Mr. Risman, the pavilion was cleared until it was truly like a heaven worth inhabiting.

Meanwhile on the playground, Farah is still upset by her husband's overly kind attitude towards Mr. Risman. Sometimes his eyes stare sinisterly at the husband, pushing Albi's swing. Hilman who realized that, could not wait to give understanding.

"Why else, anyway, you?" tanya Hilman stood beside his wife.

"I'm the same as Papa's behavior is too good as Mr. Risman," replied Farah ketus. "The father should be a little wary. Could be, 'n't they steal our valuables, so good will be done with the employer."

"Astagfirullah, Farah. Suuzon kayak is no good. However Mr. Risman has sacrificed his time and energy to work in our home. Ms. Inah also said she promised to help you at home."

"Mom want to help me at home? How could? His son is still small, where he can work full time to serve us."

"For a full time job there's still Bi Reni, right? We can hire Bu Inah as Albi's nanny. In addition, Albi will also play with his daughter Bu Inah, so as not to be lonely."

"All right, then. At least if there is a nanny, I can follow the same level again complex mothers, while taking care of the foundation that has long been abandoned."

"So, now you agree with my decision?"

"Yes, deh. I didn't think until there."

In the middle of their conversation, Hilman's phone rang. It was from Mrs Ratmi. The phone was picked up by Hilman.

"Hello, Tea. What's the phone?"

"Hilman, tomorrow you have some free time? I'm moving to Kuningan tomorrow. The goods are already packed, so leave tomorrow."

"Tomorrow, Tea? Not next month?"

"No. I want to quickly calm down after taking care of all the relics of the deceased."

"Alright, Tea. I'm going there tomorrow."

"Thank you, Hilman."

Along with the news of Ms Ratmi's move to Hilman, Sukma cried very loudly in the Hilman pavilion. Atikah tried to calm her down, while Bu Inah was still busy cooking. Overwhelmed by taking care of her sister who could not keep quiet, Atikah called her mother. However, the arrival of Bu Inah to the room long enough, making Atikah more anxious.

"Cup cup cup ... stop crying, Deck. Poor thing, I'm cooking, "persuade Atikah.

"I want to meet Mom" whined Sukma with her tiny voice.
